Even the devil was once an angel....

My undecipherable emotion at the sight of Klaus with Taylor is momentary as I'm bumped into by someone, who sends me staggering backwards. Giggles fill the air and I turn to find a girl with straight dark brown hair and alluring blue eyes. She holds onto more bags of food than she possibly could and one comes slipping out of her hands. I make the quick reaction to catch it and hand it back to her with a small smile.

"Thanks?" She gives a huge grin, dimples popping out.

I nod and take a glimpse towards Klaus room once again. The girl fumbles with the door handle to Klaus room and when she finally gets it open, she gives me a smile once more before slipping in.

I scrunch up my face at the unfamiliar personnel visiting Klaus but then shrug it off, telling myself I didn't really know much about him anyway.  Probably just that he is so damn kissable.

I make a swift escape with a sigh before Klaus notices me. So much for caring and...fucking Levi!

        .Niklaus.

My door finally opens and I breathe out a sigh of relief at the appearance of someone else. I wasn't exactly comfortable being in a room with Taylor alone. She wouldn't shut up about how worried she is, not that it wasn't nice of her to actually be concerned about me but she didn't have to constantly blab about it, reminding me every fucking second that I was in a hospital.

Elsie stumbles in, hands filled with bags of food. "I'm back."

I get up to help her but Taylor beats me to it, relieving Elsie of the bags. "Hi. I'm Taylor. Klaus and I are really close."

I roll my eyes at her introduction. "When you said you were going to get food, I wasn't expecting you to get back with the entire diner."

"Oh, you know me, just love spending daddy's money," she jokes before directing her attention to Taylor once more. "Thanks love. I'm Elsie, this little ass older sister."

"With three years Elsie." I settle on to my bed while Elsie places a hand to her chest feigning surprise.

"They hadn't even thought of your little ass two years before."

Taylor cracks up at that and I groan, face planting on to my pillow. "I love your accent."

"Don't you love Klaus' own even more?" Elsie nudges, pushing it.

I zone out, going through the bags Elsie had just brought in. "You didn't get water?"

"I could get you some!" Taylor immediately chirps up.

"Hospital water. Cool, hope it's not recycled blood." I snort, watching Taylor leave the room.

Elsie trails towards my bed, sitting at the edge. "You should really pay attention in biology,"

I ignore her comment, grabbing a burger from one of the bags.

"Taylor seems nice. How long have you been together?"

I almost choke on the piece I just took a bite of at that moment. "Woah! Taylor and I are not together and she's not nice. It's an act."

"If she's willing to act for you, then she likes you." Elsie says, grabbing my burger, taking a huge bite out of it. She knew I hated stuffs like that.

"I don't care, plus, there's someone else," I confess, staring off at my door. "But I don't think the feeling's mutual. She's way more complicated, annoying actually and I don't know what she wants."

        "Sounds like you." She giggles.

"Shut up!" I grab my pillow, from behind me, tossing it towards her.

I'm told by my dad, later that night, that I'm getting discharged the next day. As boring as it may have seemed to be in the hospital for a day, having people come see me...Elsie, Shawn, Taylor was sort of nice. The one person I really wanted to care enough to actually visit didn't bother to show up. Things like this was what drove me insane about her. How could one person be so controlling and manipulative of another's feelings? She does what I don't expect her to and does not do what I expect her to. It's like she's a freaking mind reader, using that ability to mess around with people's head.

I drop my pencil, grabbing my water bottle. As late as it was, I didn't feel sleepy. I wanted to be consumed by my thoughts and I didn't want to believe I was that unimportant to her.  The emptiness of my bottle has me groaning, considering I'd have to get out of the room to get it filled up. My steps had not been directed towards  the exit of the room ever since I awoke.

I sigh, defeated by thirst as I quietly make my way out of the room. My steps are slow as I try not to disturb some patients who may be asleep already. The first dispenser I come in contact with is empty and this has my frustration increasing. The next one was beside the fucking receptionist and that woman had bad attitude for days.

I make my way over there and I'm grateful when I don't sight her from afar. My steps are hastened and when I get to the dispenser, I begin filling in a haste. Noticing that the hallway is fucking silent and the repeated low breathing sound, so close by, I finally take my chance examining my surrounding. A familiar figure lies on the row of chairs in the waiting room, unconsciously.  I stare at the person in confusion, stalking closer until I realize it's Raven.

Talk about what I expect her not to.

Her dark hair is roughly locked behind her ear and she gives out a low grumble what seems to be every minute. Her brows suddenly scrunch up and I think she might have acknowledged my presence but then they settle once again. The disturbing look comes on once again but this time, accompanied by a word. A name.

            "Klaus?"
