"Ruby!" I say excitedly as my lover runs over to me with bright red roses in her basket.

"Y/n!" She shouts as she hugs me tightly. I hug her back and we part. "I bought you some roses from our garden."

"Oh, Ruby! They're beautiful!" I say as she hands them to me.

"I'm so happy you like them!" Ruby says smiling widely. I hug her once more and I invite her into my house.

"Mother! Ruby's here!" I shout.

"Oh, I'm coming!" Mother shouts. Soon she appears in front of Ruby and me smiling. "Hello, Ruby, lovely to see you again." 

"Lovely to see you too Mrs Y/l/n," Ruby says. Ruby pulls a rose out of her basket and hands it to my mother. "My mother and father wished I give you a rose from our garden."

"It is lovely!" Mother says happily making both Ruby and I smile.
