"Ok so, you are going to be a greenie." Alby orders making the girl raise her eyebrows.

"Why can't I be a runner?" She asks, sass lingering in her voice.

"We don't want you to get hurt now do we?" Alby chuckles making her scoff.

"Whatever." She says as she crosses her arms over her chest.

"Newt!" Alby shouts making a dusty blonde-haired boy look over at the pair. He runs over and smiles at Y/n. "This is our new greenie. Show her the ropes and make sure she feels welcomed."

"I can do that." Newt smiles before Alby leaves. He turns to Y/n and holds out his hand. "Newt." 

"Y/n." The girl says as he shakes the hand he so graciously offered to her. "Don't treat me differently just because I'm a girl. If you do that I'll rip your throat out."

Newt chuckles and nods. "I shall treat you like everyone else, I promise." 

"Good." Y/n pushes past him and walks over to the garden making Newt chuckle. Don't fall for her. Something bad will happen.
