Eleven and I are sitting in her room reading the magazines and comics I bought for her. Eleven and I have been dating for a while now. I think it's making Mike jealous thought because he had a crush on Eleven when she first came here. Earlier this year I asked El out and she said yes. Of course, we couldn't go out because Hopper wouldn't let her so I bought a bunch of eggos and VHS tapes for us to watch.

"Tomorrow do you want me to bring you my notes and homework?" I ask. El nods and I hug her. "How long until you can go to school with me?"

"I don't know. Hopper won't say." She says with disappointment in her voice.

"It's ok. I'll bring you my homework and notes and I'll help you." I say smiling. El smiles and kisses my cheek. We continue reading a comic book until Hopper almost breaks the door down.

"Three feet apart you two." He says pointing to us both. I stop hugging El.

"Sorry Hopper," I say I bit terrified. Hopper is by far one of the scariest people in Hawkins. He is absolutely terrifying sometimes. Hopper leaves the room and leaves the door open a bit. I look at El and smile. "I should probably call Steve to come to pick me up," I say. Steve is my older brother. He's super protective but super nice at the same time. Today he has the day off work so he would be happy to come to pick me up. El nods and I leave her room and see Hopper smoking outside. I poke my head out the door.

"Hopper, can I use your phone?" I ask. He nods and I go back inside and dial Steves number. He answers the phone in a matter of seconds.

"Hello?" He answers.

"Steve it's me."

"Y/n? Are you ok?"

"Yeah, can you come pick me up?" 

"Yeah for sure. I'll be there soon alright?"

"Ok. Bye Steve."

"Bye Y/n." I hang up the phone and go back into El's room. I sit down next to her and hold her hand. She looks at me and smiles.

"You should sleep over at my house sometime. I'm sure Hopper would let you since we've known each other for a long time now." I say before kissing her hand. She giggles and nods.

"I want to stay with you." She says with a smile printed on her face.

"I want to stay with you too," I say smiling. She falls into my arms and puts her arms around my neck. I kiss her nose and hug her tightly. "Steve is going to come and get me soon." El nuzzles her head into the crook of my neck.

"Don't leave me," El says quietly. I pout and kiss her cheek.

"I have to El. I have school tomorrow." I say. She groans causing me to giggle. "I promise I'll be back tomorrow. Besides, I want you to come to the winter ball with me." I say causing El's head to lift. She smiles at me.

"You want me to come with you?"

"Absolutely I do."

"Y/n Steve is here!" Hopper shouts. El and I get up and I get my backpack. El holds a magazine in her hands.

"Keep it. I think you'd like the comic area." I say smiling. She nods and puts the magazine on her bed. We leave her room and I go outside to see Steve leaning on his car. I hug El and we part.

"I'll see you tomorrow El."

"See you tomorrow Y/n," El says. I go to Steve and he hugs me.

"Come on Y/n let's go." He says. I get in his car and he drives away. "So how was your girlfriend?"

"She was good. We read magazines and comics the whole time. And I asked her to the winter ball." I say. Steve raises his eyebrows.

"You asked her out?" He asks. I nod. "I didn't know you had balls." Steve jokes and I slap his arm.

"Shut up."

"I'm kidding! I'm kidding!"
