~

Today was another summer day. The sun is shining brightly, the wind surprisingly didn't blow too much breeze. The leaves of the trees swayed slightly, yet the unbearable hot feeling the sun was giving everyone never went away. The breeze was not enough to cool every San Fransokian.

And so, taking the chance of not having to go to college due to a short summer break, your friends from your university asked you to join them cool off the heat by swimming at the well-known pool resort by your neighborhood. You couldn't resist anyway, since you were dying in your room due to the uncomfortable feeling. The aircon won't cut it off, nor a shower. A swim in a pool would be quite nice.

"I'll be going!" Once you've packed the necessities you'll be needing, you headed out the front door of your house, saying goodbye to your mother. You were wearing a (white/black) shirt on top of your (favorite color) rash guard, along with your swim shorts that looked fine without being covered. Your (second favorite color) slippers were what you wore for your feet, and your shades were hanging from the neckline of your shirt. Slinging your backpack on one shoulder, you closed your front door, only to be surprised that some of your friends were already waiting in front of your house for you.

"Took you long enough." One of your closest friends, Hiro, came along with his brother Tadashi. Usually the two Hamada brothers came on any venue with Tadashi's moped, but this time their aunt's car was the one parked up front. Tadashi must have decided to test out his car-driving skills, knowing that he already has his official driver's liscense.

"Well I didn't ask to be fetched," You rolled your eyes playfully after Hiro's remark, walking towards the two. "So, trying out your driving skills, 'Dashi?" You then looked at your friend's older brother.

Tadashi tossed around the car keys, "Maybe," he smiled after. "But it wouldn't be nice to let you go there by yourself."

Out of all the closest friends you have in your university, the two brothers were the ones who you've really gotten close with. Both of them treated you as if you live on the same roof as them. "Aww, you didn't have to." You laughed, acting shy in front of the two. Each of them just let out a chuckle.

"But you could've just brought the moped though," You pointed out as soon as Hiro opened the car door for you. You told him a thanks before hopping in, while Hiro hopped in the passenger seat. Tadashi boarded the car as well. When all car doors were  closed, Tadashi inserted the key and soon the car roared to life. He then looked at the rear-view mirror where he could see you, before replying. "It's too much of a hassle if I brought the moped. Hiro wanted to bring his floatee." Tadashi then teased, nudging Hiro as the younger Hamada reacted defensively, punching his brother on the shoulder lightly.

"You don't know how to swim?" You laughed at your messy-haired friend. Hiro only blushed faintly as he became more defensive of his actions, crossing both his arms against his chest, a small pout visible on his mouth. You laughed again. "Awww, don't worry," After, you sighed, a frown creeping up on your lips. "I don't know how to, either." You softly mumbled, biting your lip.

This time it was Tadashi's turn to laugh, though his eyes still focused on the road. "Both of you are still a bunch of knuckleheads, after all."

When the three of you finally reached the resort, your other close friends were already there. "(Y/n)! You made it!" Yelled a bubbly Honey Lemon, as you reached the area where it was reserved for only your gang. Gogo was resting on a pool bench by the big umbrella, shades on her eyes and her mouth still popping her usual bubblegums. She seemed to be sort-of  sun-bathing. The other two of your friends, Wasabi and Fred, were no where to be seen. The two of them must be swimming by now. You only smiled at the sight of Honey. "Hey Honey, nice swim wear."

The blonde grinned widely at your compliment. She was wearing a rash guard as well, though for her bottom it wasn't a short. She looked nice in those bikini-like garments. Her hair was in a neat bun, like how she usually puts it when you guys are at school. "You look nice as well, though your shirt needs to be taken off." She chuckled, leading you to where you need to place your bag.

Once you settled in, you then took off your shirt. You tied your (medium-length/long) (hair color) hair up, then looked at the view. The pool has crystal blue water, there weren't many visitors surprisngly, considering that it's a hot day. Fred and Wasabi were there in the pool like you guessed, tossing around a multi-colored beach ball. Children were swimming on the kiddie pool, while some people chilled around the pool either casually talking or swimming around.

"It is a good weather to swim," Suddenly, a familiar voice startled you, Honey and Gogo. You three looked at where it came from, only to see the familiar marshmallow-looking bot. The robot looked directly to the pool. "Though it is advisable to apply sun block, to prevent possible sun burns."

"Baymax?" You surprisingly called out the robot's name. Baymax looked at you after, waving his chubby arm. "Hello, (Y/n)."

As expected, behind him came the two brothers, carrying their own luggage. You smiled at them as they placed down their things onto where you placed yours earlier. "Why'd you bring him?"

"Baymax can be assisting if ever there's any accidents." Tadashi replied. He then nudged Hiro on his shoulder, "Or if ever Hiro needed support in swimming." grinning at his brother teasingly. Hiro rolled his eyes and punched Tadashi lightly on the shoulder. "I may not know how to swim, but I'm not stupid to know I could swim on a shallow area."

"Anyway, what are we waiting for?" Honey clapped her hands after, cutting off any more conversations. "Let's go swimming!"

Excitedly, she grabbed your arm and dragged you towards the pool, leaving the brothers and Gogo behind. Once you reached the pool area, Honey and you immediately jumped on the water, feeling the cool sensation immediately on your skin. It was a refreshing feeling, though. After, both of you called Fred and Wasabi, who were still playing the ball on a farther area. Soon, the four of you were having fun.

"Hey, don't forget about us." Minutes later, you all heard Tadashi's voice from behind. You looked to where he was to see him completely shirtless, his toned body clearly visible beneath the rays of the sun. You stopped moving on the pool, along with Honey and the others. They must be waiting for Tadashi and his brother to jump in, but you stopped because you were taken aback by how fit he looked like.

You couldn't help but to slightly stare at the older Hamada that you didn't notice Hiro trailing behind his brother, also completely shirtless. Hiro was also fit, after all these years, yet unlike his brother his body wasn't that built. His caramel eyes trailed to you, who still didn't notice him. He frowned when he realized you were staring at his brother, who immediately jumped in the pool and created a splash. This made you snap back to reality.

Meanwhile, Hiro carefully got down on the water while everyone laughed at the splash Tadashi made, still wearing a small frown on his face.

"(Y/n), you can't swim too, right?" An hour of playing and splashing around the pool, Hiro swam towards you. The both of you were on the slightly-shallow part of the pool, where your feet still met the ground and the water only reached up until your chest. The others were on the slightly-deep part, still splashing water on each other. You smiled at the guy, noticing his usual messy locks drenched so it just rested on his head neatly. Water droplets still decorated his face and neck here and there. "Yeah.. I never actually learned."

"Why not?" Hiro asked after, letting himself stand beside you since you were resting your back on the cement of the pool side. You chuckled while looking down, swaying your hands against the water. "I'm not really a big fan of water."

"Well, neither am I." Hiro chuckled along with you, and seconds later the both of you were greeted by a comfotable silence. Hiro rested his head against the cement, looking at the blue sky before looking at you. You were grinning at something on the pool, Hiro didn't mind that, so he just stared at you. Moments earlier recalled in his brain, making him stand up straight again. "Hey (y/n)."

"Hm?" You looked at him now, making him slightly startled at how sudden he called you. Your eyes blinked, waiting for him to continue. Hiro could feel his breath grow warmer than usual. He felt a bit embarrassed to bring it up. "I-I noticed you staring at-"

"My ball!" A little girl's yell suddenly cut off Hiro's statment, making both of you look at the situation at hand. A pink beach ball was drifted away from the kids playing on the shallow part of the pool you were in, towards the deep part of the pool. You gasped, and then the sudden urge to grab that ball and bring it back to those children quickly made you swim towards that floating ball. Hiro's eyes widened at your actions, calling you out. "Wait, (Y/n)! Didn't you say you don't know how to swim?" But you didn't hear him.

Your friends also heard the sudden commotion from where they were. Tadashi was the first one to see you swim towards the deep part of the pool, making his brown eyes widen. You were still swimming towards that ball, but because you ran out of breath from that 'swimming', you decided to stop and catch a breath. Your feet below the water quickly tried to reach for the floor, but it was only then till you realized that you're in the deep part of the pool. The ground was a few meters away from your feet. You just immediately sunk down when you tried to reach the floor, so your eyes quickly showed panic.

"Oh gosh." You gasped, feeling your body get engulfed completely by the water. Your arms flailed below, trying hard to bring you up the surface only to fail and bring you even deeper down the water. Your breath became short, you felt air leave your lungs at that moment. The chlorine water only made your eyes hurt, so you couldn't do anything by now but to drown.

Meanwhile, the people on the pool area were panicking, since there's literally someone drowning in the pool. The bodyguard was nowhere to be found, and by the side Hiro was seen panicking because he couldn't swim towards you. The ball you were trying to grab went towards the even deeper part of the pool, but that wasn't the subject at hand. Honey Lemon, Gogo, Fred and Wasabi were looking for the bodyguard. Baymax was about to jump towards the pool to rescue you, but Tadashi beat him to it. With a huff, the older Hamada ran towards the pool area, diving immediately in the part where you were last seen. Hiro and the people there also saw the whole thing happen.

Seconds later, Tadashi was nowhere to be seen. In another few seconds, his head immediately seen from out the water. He swam towards the shallow part of the water, carrying you, then got out of the pool while carrying your unconscious form bridal-style. Hiro quickly got out of the pool as well, rushing towards you and his brother.

As soon as Tadashi placed you down the ground, you quickly coughed up water, returning you back to consciousness. You breathed deeply, sitting up while still gasping for air.

"Oh my gosh," You gasped. "What happened?" Tadashi then hit you a little on the head, making you jolt and look at him. "You almost drowned, knucklehead! If you were gonna get the ball, you could've called for Baymax to handle it!"

You scratched your head awkwardly, chuckling in an uneven tone. "S-Sorry.." Your eyes met first a worried Hiro, who was still asking if you need anything or are you okay--something like that, but seconds later your eyes trailed towards his brother, who, honestly, has his toned body decorated with droplets of water. His hair was drenched, he was checking your pulse, while Baymax stood behind him, insisting that he should do the other safety measures.

As you stared on the older Hamada, you didn't notice Hiro narrow his eyes and stop at his blabbering. He looked at where you were staring at, only to see his fit brother, then back at you. He irritably growled, stealing your wrist away from his brother's grasp, snapping you out of your staring again. You looked at Hiro surprisingly, Tadashi also giving his brother the same look yet with a bit of confusion. He didn't know what he was thinking, but he immediately pulled you towards him, locking both of yours and his lips.

This made your eyes, as well as Tadashi's, widen. Both you and him didn't expect to see Hiro act this way, and at this very moment, but it did happen and it was all shocking. The people cooed in the background, while Honey and the others finally caught up on what's happening. They all gasped.

Hiro pulled away from the unexpected kiss, a blush quickly forming on his cheeks. He looked away from you, a pout on his lips. "Stop staring at him," The younger Hamada felt himself mutter with a hint of irritation on his voice.

You just sat there, still shocked of what he did. Frozen on the spot, Hiro felt you become silent. His eyes went back to you, and immediately his mind replayed what he did over and over, making his blush darken, panic now written on his face. "U-Uhm, I-I'm so-sorry!" He quickly apologized, holding out his hands towards you in defense. Honey hopped towards Hiro, placing her hands on both his shoulders.

"Uh, Hiro," She looked at him, and then at your still face struck with shock. "That may helped her shake off the water, but.." She awkwardly chuckled.

"I think you broke her.." Honey slowly trailed off, making Hiro slowly nod and gulp nervously.
