In another note, Chuck is from Angry Birds The Movie. The yellow triangle bird from the game? Yeah. That dude. :3

Which means you're in the Angry Birds world! :D

~

In an island where all birds live, there's the angry ones, who are Red, Terence, Matilda, Bomb and Chuck; the known birds for saving the village's eggs, the happy ones; who are all the birds who lived within that village like I said, and the bird who was sad, lonely and depressed; which was you.

You were once as happy as the birds that lived in that island, a bird whose feathers are a beautiful (favorite color) color, the patterns of (other favorite color) and (color that goes well with your other favorite color) shown on the long tail, whose (eye color) eyes that brighten every day and whose beak is yellow orange like the others, until you've met with a terrible fate.

Your parents that you loved so dearly passed away in a boat accident towards your island, making you an orphan with no family or relatives to be with.

The news was shocking, that it made you lose your happiness and your hopes. What would you do without them? You were just a bird who was close to being an adult, and has no idea how to live by themselves yet. And besides, you have no money to sustain your living.

Once the accident happened, the birds in your island became devastated, their unwanted pities drowning you until you've had enough of it. Thinking that the house you lived in would get demolished anyway by the bird government due to not paying taxes, you considered moving away from the village, and away from all those birds who gave you sympathies that you hated.

You drifted on the island's beach that was close to shore. This place was once where Red's little home stood, until the whole pig incident and eggs saving happened, then his place was moved at the center of the bird village.

You built a little shelter for protection against the hot sun and cold rain, a center bonfire where you could light it up in the shivering night for warmth. That was the only warmth you have right now, other than body heat.

And by then, your life was just a cycle, whereas you would go out to search for food, view the calm waves that hit the shore, then sulk in your shelter's corner to think your miserable, boring life. You'll spend hours doing that until the night reaches, where you would absorb warmth from the bonfire, then soon go inside the shelter to sleep with weight on your shoulder.

Even if your life feels as horrible as it can be, there's always friends to stick by your side. That little circle of friends you have includes the heroic Red, Bomb, Chuck and Matilda, the 'angry' birds of your village. Well, they used to be friends.

Ever since you left the village, it meant cutting the line you all have. You haven't heard anything new about them, but they certainly have despite the fact that you left them.

Those birds always have ways to know what happened to you. They know what your life is like when you left, and your emotions that went through an abyss. They felt horrible seeing you like this.

But they knew you would want space. Your life has been miserable ever since your parents left you without any goodbyes, so you would want some time to rethink or to relax a little. Matilda considered that, and the others thought it's for the best.

The others except for Chuck, that is.

That triangular yellow bird has been dead worried for you, and seeing you like this makes him feel like he's the one experiencing your pain. Three whole years without you left a solid whole in his heart.

The truth is, before the whole incident happened and after he as well as the other birds that became your former friends (you consider them that) met your happy, carefree self, Chuck had admired not only your personality and imperfections, but also your whole self. He hasn't said it to you before because he's afraid you'll get awkward with him that you want to get rid of him.

And now experiencing what it's like to be without you, his feelings for you only grew. It urged him to help you, to get you back standing on your feet. He wanted to see your beautiful smile again, and the way you blabbered things that doesn't matter but he still wanted to listen to.

Chuck thought he's had enough.

One day, without Red and Bomb, the two birds he lived with, and the others knowing, Chuck zoomed out of the house without any noise. Using his speed he traveled across streets, avoiding to bump anyone, and towards the lonely shelter by the shore.

His feet drifted to a stop once he's meters away from the little house. And there, he saw you, sitting on a log facing the waters, eyes looking empty as always. Chuck frowned, wanting to just sit beside you. But he refrained himself from doing so. You would be startled when you see him so he decided to take things slow, which was an irony for a bird like him.

This time, the yellow bird just walked towards you, his orange webbed feet making marks along the sand. You were still unaware by your surroundings, so it was a good chance to just sneak in.

Seconds of the cool breeze sweeping against your messy feathers, Chuck decided to speak. He opened his beak, his voice started to pour out.

"H-Hey," He stuttered out, holding his two feathery hands, fiddling them in nervousness. You sighed, his voice being all too familiar that you couldn't forget about ringing in your ears. Your beak was in a straight line, but when you spoke they drifted apart.

"What are you doing here?" Your voice was hoarse from the crying you've done these days. Chuck flinched, but eventually he sighed.

"I-I miss you, (y/n). Three years without you is driving me insane." Chuck silently asked to sit down on the log you were on, which you agreed to. He sat a little far from you, a distance of a meter stood between you two.

"Yeah, I missed you all too." Your tone was so blank that it didn't felt sincere. Chuck understood why, but still he wouldn't give up.

"Please come back. We need you there, I need you there," The last part was barely inaudible, making you scrunch your brows a little in confusion. "What was that?"

"N-Nothing." He stated, then your expression returned to the way they were earlier. "I don't want to."

"Why? You know being alone here won't help." Chuck responded. You ticked your tongue, shaking your head while looking down, your eyes drifting away from the sight of the ocean.

"I don't belong there." You said simply.

"Red said the same thing. But look at where he is now," Chuck shyly scooted closer to you, the meter of a distance slowly inching smaller. "In the village, where all the birds are. Look, you don't deserve to isolate yourself, (y/n). There are birds there that care about you, and being here wouldn't help them at all."

Taking the words Chuck told you, you bit your lower beak. Are the things he said real? You hesitated to believe it.

The yellow bird scooted a little more towards you, and since there's no more space to scoot away for you, you froze on your spot. Chuck still scooted, looking half afraid now than he was earlier. He placed his feathered hand against yours that was resting on the log once he reached the smallest distance between the both of you, startling you and looking at the the hand resting upon yours then to his yellow green eyes.

"Wh-What are you-" You stumbled in your words, but not really pulling your hand off of his. You were too focus on keeping the part below your eyes away from being flustered as possible that you didn't mind his hand on yours. Before you could finish your question, he cut you off.

"Th-There's something I-I've been wanting you tell you- quite sometime n-now," You saw how the part of his face become flustered as well. With his right hand, he scratched his head, feeling shy.

Your eyes widened in curiousity. What was that something? You let him speak by not opening your beak.

"I-I've, uhm-alwayslikedyoualotandI'vealwayshopedyou'dreturnthesamefeeling." Unexpectedly, Chuck started to speak quickly, making his words impossible to figure out. You pulled out your feathered hand off of his, holding now the both of them infront, motioning him to slow down in surprise.

"Chuck! You're the only fast bird here, so I can't really understand you!" Thanking that your face isn't as flustered as much, you exclaimed, Chuck apologizing after.

"S-Sorry," He said sheepishly, his face now deep red in embarrassment. He looked down for a moment then back at you, biting his lower beak. "I-I'm just saying that, by isolating here by the shore would just put not only you into misery, but all of us also."

You eyed him suspiciously. The words he spoke right now and the supposedly sentence he blabbered earlier didn't match.

"That's not what you said." You told him, making him sweat, obviously nervous. "W-What?"

"That's not what you said earlier." You repeated, still looking at him suspiciously. "Chuck, tell me the truth. What are you hiding under that beak of yours?"

"I-I- uh," Chuck was unsure if he wanted to repeat what he told you all of a sudden. But knowing that eventually he wouldn't get his way out especially because it's you, he sighed in defeat.

"Ever since I got to know y-you, I-I developed feelings f-for you. And what I said e-earlier is that, I'm hoping y-you'll uh," He was a stuttering mess now, and you did not really expect him to be like this. You took in every word he said, and wanting him to continue, you trailed, "I'll..?"

"R-Return the same f-feeling," Chuck looked down, feeling embarrassed. "Look, I know it's not the good timing to tell you this. But I wanted to be with you ever since you've become like this. I wanted to be by your side, (y/n)." He continued to speak meaningfully, touching you. You smiled at him, for the first time in three whole years, and placed your hand on his shoulder to look at you.

He did so, and with surprised eyes he gazed at you, feeling confused but baffled at the same time. You still didn't let go of the smile on your face.

"It may not be a good timing to tell," You started, in which Chuck listened closely to. "But I did appreciate it. Every single bit."

You leaned in, hoping that the yellow bird that sat beside you would get the idea. You didn't make a mistake in doing so because you saw how he leaned in as well. For a bird he is, he sure was fast.

It wasn't long until your beaks meet. It sent sparks here and there, and whether you liked it or not, it lifted up your feelings, like the weight on your shoulders finally lifted off of you. You felt nice having a person like Chuck around, being the bird to be by your side and support you eventhough you'rr like this, and you only realized that until now.

And it seemed that you did return his feelings.

You two pulled away, the emptiness of your eyes finally being filled again. Your beak couldn't let go of that smile you held, and still looking at the bird infront of you, "Thank you," you mustered out, hugging the bird tightly, pouring your feelings out.

This made Chuck smile, and hug you in return. "You're welcome."
