Your POV

I was sitting across from Hawk at our favorite diner. We were going on our daily Friday dates. The both of us were waiting for our milkshakes when I heard my phone go off. I sighed and pulled it out of my pocket.

" Who is it?" Hawk asked

I looked up at him " My dad. Give me a second."

He nodded with a smile. I picked up the phone and said...

" Hi dad."

" Hi honey. Where are you at?" he said

I panicked a little, but said "Oh, I'm out at a diner with a friend."

" Which friend?" he asked

I looked over at Hawk with wide eyes. " Um, you know just Tory." I said with a little laugh

" Y/n, I don't believe you." he said

" I'm telling the truth, dad!" I shouted a little

" Don't use that tone with me, young lady! I want you home right now." he said

" But..." I protested

" No buts, young lady. Get home now!" he said before hanging up

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I felt a hand go over mine. I opened my eyes to find Hawk looking at me with concern.

" Is everything okay Y/n/n?" he asked

I tried not to let him know that I was trying so hard not to cry.

" Yea, it's just my dad who wants me home. I'm sorry we have to cut the date short."

Hawk's POV

When she got done with the phone I put my hand on top of hers and rubbed little figure eights on the side of her hand with my thumb.

" Is everything okay Y/n/n?" I asked

She looked down at the table which made me more concerned because I didn't know how to help her.

" Yea, it's just my dad who wants me home. I'm sorry we have to cut the date short." she said

I moved out of my seat to sit on her side, so I could wrap my arms around her.

" Princess, it's okay. We can always go on more." I whispered

I felt her nod, but also could feel her tears. I held her tighter if that was possible. She held onto me, but then pulled away a little too soon for my liking.

" I think it's time to head to my house now." she said softly

I nodded my head and got up to pay for the shakes. We then both grabbed our things to drop her off. Neither of us had a car, so we started walking to her house.

We were about one house away from hers when I all of a sudden got pulled back since Y/n stopped walking. I turned around to face her.

" Hey princess. Are you okay? Why'd you stop?" I asked with worry

She looked up at me, but didn't say anything. I moved closer to her. Before I got to make sure she was okay I felt soft gentle lips on mine. I closed my eyes and deepened the kiss.

Your POV

Before the kiss got too far I pulled away and looked Hawk in the eyes.

" Everything's going to be fine. I'll be okay." I said with a pause

He gave me a nod. I then continued " Just know that I love you no matter what happens."

He nodded again before giving me a hug. I hugged back then started making my way inside.

" Dad! I'm home!" I yelled

I heard his footsteps coming from the kitchen, so I went to meet him in the living room. Before I got a word out he said...

" Were you out with Hawk tonight? And don't lie to me Y/n!" he asked

I looked down and nodded my head. I heard him sigh.

" I thought I told you to stay away from that kid. He's going to end up breaking your heart."

I looked up at him and gave him a glare. " Don't talk about him like that Dad! He won't ever hurt me. All he does is protect me. You can't stop me from seeing him." I told him

I was about to walk away from him, but stopped when I heard words that made my heart drop.

" Yea I can! You're grounded! And you can never see that boy ever again. I'll make sure of it."

I turned around and looked at him. I felt tears well up in my eyes. I didn't have any words, so I just went to my room.

It's been two hours of me sitting in my room crying and staring at the ceiling, when I heard a knock on my door. I moved my eyes to find my dad standing there.

" Look, I'm sorry for yelling. I'm just trying to look out for you. That's all I really wanted to say. Um, I guess good night." he said before walking out

I let out a sigh and cuddled into my covers thinking about Hawk.

Hawk's POV

After I watched Y/n go into her house I started walking over to my house. When I was getting closer to my house I felt my phone ding. I pulled it out to find Tory texted me.

' Hey, have you heard from Y/n?'

I smiled and shook my head. ' I just dropped her off at her house. Why?'

I saw the three dots and then they disappeared. I got concerned and texted her. ' Tory. What's wrong? Why do you need to know where Y/n was?'

I gave up and turned around to make my way back to Y/n's house.

I made it to her bedroom and quietly tapped on her window to let her know it was me.

Your POV

I opened my eyes when I heard this tapping noise. I groaned and walked over to the window. I pulled the curtain back to find Hawk outside my window. I pulled the window up and asked...

" What are you doing here?"

He pulled himself into my room and said...

" I wanted to make sure you were ok. Because you weren't answering Tory."

I sighed and looked down, but felt him pull my head back up.

" What happened with your dad Y/n/n?" he asked me

I tried to avoid eye-contact with him, which was impossible. " My dad...he um..grounded me and told me to stop seeing you."

He pulled me into his chest and hugged me which made me clutch my hands onto his shirt. I could feel myself crying all over again and Hawk just rubbed my back to help me calm down. I felt like I let him go and he would disappear into thin air, so I held him even tighter.

" I won't let that happen princess. I love you too much to just let you go." he said, breaking my train of thoughts.

I smiled and hugged him even tighter and then pulled away to give him lips a little kiss. We then eventually moved to my bed to cuddle, until we both fell into a deep sleep.
