It was the middle of summer and I was so freaking bored. I decided to call my friend Payton to see if he could come over and hang. I hit his profile in my phone to call him and he answered on the second ring " Hey" he said groaning " Hi Payt. I was wondering if you could come over, because I am so stinking bored." I asked/complained to him. I could tell he was getting up." Yeah, I can just let myself get ready." he said. We then exchanged our see you soon. I got up to get ready in black high waisted shorts with a red crop top. Before I got a bar to eat on put on some converse on. I then grabbed a quick bar to eat while I wait for Payton to get here. About a couple minutes I heard a knock. I got up from the couch I was just chill'en on, I walked up to the door. Before Payton could even get in the house, I grabbed his arm and pulled him all the way back to his car. " Um, Y/N/N where we going?" he asked me really confused. " I need to go to Target to get some things." I said, we got in the car and we sang songs on our drive to Target.

Once we got out of the car and when Payton locked his car I grabbed his hand and ran to the entrance. He was just laughing at my actions since I was acting like a five year old. I made him push me in a cart and I told him where to go. After I told him I wanted to go to the baking section he proceeded to push me to it. We finally got there and I asked Payt if he could help me get out of the cart. Payton just stood on the side on his phone after he took me out of the cart, while I got what I needed for the baking experience.

'Skip the rest of the trip'

Payton and I ended up back at my house after a very amazing trip to the store. When we walked through my door I went straight to the kitchen while Payton closed the door and made sure it was locked before following me into the kitchen. I was setting everything on the counter when I felt an arm wrap around my waist which made me jump, I then heard a very familiar laugh that belonged to my best friend. I turned around and gave him a hug before going back to the cupcakes. While I was looking at the recipe I found, out of nowhere flour was in my face. I turned around to have an innocent Payton. I rolled my eyes and went back to work.

'Skip to batter done'

Once I stirred in the last ingredient I got my cupcake liners and cupcake pans. I put them in and turned to Payton. " Hey Payt." I said, he looked up from his phone and nodded. I asked him if he could scoop the batter in the liners. He nodded and walked over to me. While Payton was scooping the batter I was washing the dirty dishes. Payton and I then proceeded to put them in the oven and finish cleaning up.

'Skip to cupcakes done'

I heard the oven go off so I ran into the kitchen, where Payton just stayed in the living room. I took them out and started making the frosting for them. After about a couple minutes later. I had the decorations prepared. I yelled for Payton to come back in and help. I could hear Payton running into the kitchen. We put music on and started on with the decorating. Couple hours later we finished making them out of style. Payton decided to help me clean up the mess we made. Once we finished cleaning we just hung out and watched TV.

Payton's Pov

We got done cleaning and we decided to watch some TV. While watching TV I could not help but glance at Y/N/N. I always had feelings for her, but never wanted to say anything because I did not want to mess with our friendship bond.
