The cool, salty breeze hit my face as I ran for the water ahead of me. Rafe slowly running up behind. Shouting and giggling, I could feel the cold salty water wash over my feet. The stars twinkled in the night sky and the moon shone bright. Dating in secret was never on my mind, until I met Rafe.

~Flashback~

This Summer was going to be the best one yet, with my new friends, The Pogues and Rafe. All my free time was suddenly taken up by the blonde, rich boy who took me to endless Kook parties and beach dates. The secret was hard to keep to myself at first, even though the Pogues didn't suspect anything. All the lies built up to where I was going and who I was with but it didn't stop me from seeing him.

He was never seen as the dating type and was known as the Kook Prince. But it didn't stop me from talking to him at the Country Club the first time I saw him, while I was working a shift there. I thought he looked attractive and wanted to see if he was really how the Pogues described him.

I walked over to the table he was sat at with Topper and took a seat next to him. I looked at the boy next to me and smiled, hoping for a smile back. The boys looked at me confused but Rafe still looked down at me and smiled slightly trying not to make it obvious to Topper. Topper rolled his eyes and ignored me while I started a conversation with the Kook Prince.

The conversation lasted about 10 minutes before I was shouted to start working again. He laughed at my boss shouting at me before turning back to face Topper. I strolled back behind the bar and started to make more damn drinks for the rich idiots.

After my shift had finished, I saw the blonde boy walk out of the doors towards Topper's jeep. I sprinted out the doors throwing my apron on the counter. I stumbled down the stairs towards the car park to try and catch up with him. He turned around and saw me running after him, a smile lit up his face that was glowing in the afternoon sun. He leant against the car door waiting for me. I stood in front of the 6ft boy and looked up at him smiling, finally realising how tall he actually was. He handed me a piece of ripped napkin before climbing into the front of the jeep and speeding off down the road.

I looked down at the ripped napkin to see a inky number written on it. I smiled and typed it into my phone. It didn't seem real at first until a message popped up on my phone later that day from the same number, I opened the message to see. 'Hey, country club girl, right?'

And that's how it all started...

~End of Flashback~

After that day, we began to hang out more without anybody knowing, and suddenly it turned into a relationship. We were both very happy with each other and I wouldn't have it any other way.
