After a nap and a bowl of cereal I was good. However my spine still tingled, yet there was a spot in my mind. A bad feeling of sorts, I knew if I saw it I would know it. Walking through the institute I left my weapons in the op center, wearing just a tank and pants. My red hair was up in a ponytail, red hairs framing my face.

I saw Mitchell and Hayley heading off on a mission, heading to the standing portal. The portal, bad feelings from the portal.

"Stop!" I shouted and they did, turning to me with frowns. I ran to the portal and forced it shut. Just then I got a fire message from Magnus that alerted me that warlocks put up wards, any nephilim that crossed through would be vaporized.

Walking to the center of the large room I stood as Jace came to me. "Portaling-"

"I know." I nodded, placing my hands on the rail.

"Oi!" I shouted getting everyone's attention. "Portaling stops immediately, no passaging in or out of the city, spread the word." I directed the nodded dismissal. Standing beside clary and Jace at a small table I looked between them.

"Luke called to tell us that the wolves went after the circle, valentine and Johnathan got away." Clary said and I scowled before Alec walked up, leaning with his hands on the table look between us.

"Isabelle's on her way back with Rufus. Guess who just tried to portal to idris." Alexa features were gorgeous as ever, dark wavy hair complementing his skin and black shirt. However now was not the time to admire him, Piper thought, now was the time of war.

Clary places her hand on pipers, rubbing her thumb over the chilled smooth skin of on the back pipers hand. However both girls suddenly saw flashes of runes and glowing and the golden portal Piper and clary created and black demon blood. When the two pulled their hands apart they looked to the boys.

"Clarys got a way to speed things up." Piper breathed and they looked with pinched brows.

"Actually it requires Jace and you to do it." Clear looked at myself and the blonde boy.

Jace clary and I stood in the courtyard, clary forcibly removing my jacket while I held my ruby steel between my fingers, twirling it nervously.

"So on a scale of one to ten how bad will this hurt?" I muttered and Jace shook his head with a chuckle.

"Clary tells us she's going to track her demon brother with our connection and your wondering about how bad it's going to hurt?" He asked and I scowled at him. "By the way how did you realize this?"

"I had a vision." He pulled my hair down and I glared at her. "The four of us have a connection, our angel blood and my shared Morgenstern blood. So I think we can use that to track him." Clary chuckled pulling me over to them.

"This is coming from the girl who shoots sunlight from her hand and edits portals, but who am I to talk, I run really fast and throw sparks." I chuckled before raising a brow. She guided my hand into the shape of the rune and then I drew it on myself before looking at Jace.

"Hm, would you like me to draw it on the shirt or your forehead?" I asked and he rolled his eyes, pulling off his shirt. "Oh, wow, this feels sexual." I said and clary rolled her eyes as I drew the rune.

"Piper your going to have to channel your angel." Clary said and I nodded relaxing my tense body.

"Come here." Jace said pulling me close beside him and clary. A wave of calm washed over me, it felt like warm sunlight slowly warming my skin, centered from the three of us. I rested my head on jaces shoulder feeling a arm come around my waist and clary take my hand.

The trios rune slowly began to glow gold, one at a time as the sunlight surrounded them. The red heads eyes fluttered shut as she rested her head on the blonde boys shoulder the other blonde girl doing the same. The two girls held ands while the boy held them close to him, placing his lowered head between theirs. It was a moment in time where the world froze and it was just the three angel blooded shadowhunters. Jace had the two loves of his life, however love in different ways. The girl he fell in love with the second he saw her, wanted her every day, blonde hair and green eyes. And the girl who made him feel not alone, a best friend and almost sister, multicolored eyes and vibrant red hair.

A shock wave sent out, separating the three as their runes went back to black. Piper looked at clary expectantly, but the two lovebirds were focused on eachother, sexual tension high in the air.

"Hi, I'm Piper nice to meet you." Piper alerted the two to her presence and they parted, shaking heads before clary looked at Piper.

"I know where he is." Clary breathed and Piper smirked, pulling on her jacket and twisting her hair up around her stele.

"Let's go kill that bastard." Piper gnashes her teeth, all peace gone. Little did she know that Johnathan was muttering the same words of her and Jace, and anyone who stepped foot in her path.

Piper had her swords on each hip, currently she held her bow, arrow drawn and ready as she, Izzy, clary, Jace, and Alec made their way quietly through the woods towards the graveyard.

"Why would the be in a graveyard?" Clary whispered and Izzy turned to shrug at her.

"Weapons cashe, if I had to guess." She responded, before I looked around at the quiet cemetery.

"Hm, where are the mundanes?" I pointed out and Jace nodded in affirmation at my point.

"I don't think they left." Alec looked at a stone post, a bloody handprint on it. I lowered my bow, dipping my finger down to touch it and felt that it was cold yet not dry.

"About thirty minutes ago, I said before walking a few paces and squatting to examine a footprint. "This ones five minutes tops." I looked back up at the group who stood on guard. Alec stood beside me, as if he were guarding me, he pulled my hand to wipe the blood onto his shirt before holding onto it a minute longer. If he kept this up I would be far too distracted to focus on the task. I was already worried for his saftey.

"I think we should split into teams-"

"I'll go with Piper and Izzy." Clary decided and Jace decided on Alec.

"Paraba...tri?" I quirked a brow at the two girls.

"Is that a thing?" Clary asked and I shook my head.

"Temporarily." Izzy said to clary who put her hands up.

"You think you can keep up?" I grinned to clary changing out my bow for free hands.

"Please." She rolled her eyes. "We each have angel speed thanks to Micheal." Izzy smirked before we sprinted off towards the far side of the church like building, however god wasn't present right now.

We made it inside the giant doors and I spotted the blood, we slowed down allowing us to follow the tracks.

"Wanna talk about whatever happened between you and Jace at the institute?" Izzy asked the blonde girl and I chuckled.

"What do you mean?" She tried to play it off.

"Bitch please." I chuckled quietly.

"Piper." Clary scolded. "Your taking her side?"

"Shes my parabatai, She obligated to." Izzy chuckled and I rolled my eyes.

"I'd do it naturally too." Then I rubbed clarys shoulder. "Your my ex. Twin, it's my job as a sister to make it hard on you." She shook her head.

"There's no point in talking about it now." She said before I spotted a turned woman.

No no no no no no no. I hated this. I hated zombies, I had a ungodly unrealistic fear of zombies. And though I was relieved no zombies walked the earth yet...a foresaken was pretty close.

"Izzy." I whimpered, she knew it was my biggest fear. I hated being scared but right now I was.

"I know, but hey, we take care of eachother, you can do this." She comforted and then clary drew a rune on my arm. It was as if my fear had vanished. I was fearless.

"New rune, Check." She said before with a steely glare, we lunged. I used my bow to stick it over the woman's head before slicing her head through with the sharp string. I then put it on my back and grabbed my two blades, cutting off the arm of the next who reached for me befor cutting horizontally through its chest. Blood splattered across my face and I cringed before ducking as Izzy kicked over my head at one. She impaled the one before me and I spun cutting through the one going at her from behind.

Clary rolled between my legs as I jumped over her as she got the one behind me before there were none left. The rune on my shoulder faded away and my fear came in with a Woosh.

"That. Was. Terrifying." I whispered facing the two girls. We all were smeared with foresaken blood, each with our bloodied weapon. A growl was hear behind me and I shut my eyes in fright before I heard the sizing of an arrow. I turned to see Alec lowering his bow and two foresaken hitting the ground.

"Your okay." He sighed in relief hugging Izzy and I close to him.

"Yeah." She nodded before pulling away but I stayed with my face buried into his chest and his arms around me.

"I've never been so terrified and awesome at the same time." I muttered and he smiled before pulling away.

"Where's Jace?" Clary asked and I frowned. My favorite gold haired boy nowhere in sight.

"Johnathan." Alec said and just like that. My fear was erased, replaced by a burning hate. I don't know why I hated him so much, loathe yes, want to tear him cell from cell? No. I just knew that what had to be done.

More foresaken decided to show up and I was ready to end them with a lightning bolt. "No, save your strength." Clary readied her stance. "You and Izzy go get him."

"But clary-" I didn't want to leave her.

"Go!" She repeated forcefully and I complied, Izzy with her electrum whip could cause him damage and I had no doubt 40,000 volt could do harm too.

We ran up the stairs and I restocked Alec's quiver with my arrows first. "Purple tip are electric, black are kaboom, red are rune." I explained quickly as Izzy pulled me. "Black for last resort!" I shouted before we were up the staircase.

My back was splitting with pain, Izzy noticed. "Are you okay?" She asked and I nodded grinding my teeth.

"Fine, don't worry about it." I muttered, twirling my blades in my hands as we sprinted towards the bridge. The glowing blue runes rippled, up and down the sides on both blades. "What the hell?" I asked as they vibrated, humming.

"Are they malfunctioning?" I asked worriedly, as we approached where Jace was stumbling, blood dribbling from his mouth as Sebastian-Johnathan stood over him.

"Stay away from him you son of a bitch." Izzy's whip connected with the raised blade and I snarled trying to stay upright from the pain In my back. I drew my blades and took up a stance as Izzy's whip cut across his face. "I trusted you at my lowest, when I was at my worst." She Shouted.

He caught the whip, the burning flesh in his hand before I lunged paring his blade with mine, the other clanged to the floor, having shrunk into its hilt.

"Well this is more of a fair fight." He said and i snarled, feeling the heat around us rise as the sky started to charge to its max. I lunged, plunged, slashed, speared, dove, ducked with everything I had.

"You went after Clary." I spat, ducking his swing and kicking into his chest hard before cutting at his arm. He hissed in response cutting up my cheek barely.

"Not my intention." He said angrily "I loved her."

"You loved her the wrong way, kissing your sister isn't smiled upon." I said and his brows rose. "And what about max." I said puncturing through his shoulder however he didn't mind, the sky was almost at a breaking point, but I wanted to hear what he had to say.

"He should be dead." He said darkly disarming me and pinning me to the edge of the bridge, Izzy had a deep gash on her gut from where he threw my blade and I crunches my nose ready to turn him to dust. As I was about to raise my head to the sky and crack the dark night in half I felt cold steel across my neck. Warm liquid ran down my chest as Izzy screamed out my name. My brows furrowed, this wasn't part of the plan.

"Farewell, we could have been lovers." Sebastian-Johnathan smiled wickedly before I saw Alec and clary running up as Izzy sobbed. My throat was sliced, I could feel my blood draining. Then I was pushed off the side of the bridge.

I felt the wind whipping around me, so amazing to feel the free fall. The clouds flowed with what could have been a perfect storm. Time slowed, my falling was so slow that it was like floating.

Izzy would be a mess, losing a parabatai would be like loosing yourself. Clary would shut everyone out, even Jace. Jace would be bitter most likely, and Alec. Although they had grown distant physically not a minute went by she didn't think of him, she loved him more than anything in the world. They could have been married, maybe kids. Piper wasn't afraid of dying, she was afraid of what she was leaving behind. She had never even seen the stars.

Then agonizing pain faced up and down her back. I thought dying was peaceful? She felt her tiredness slowly sealing away, her energy coming back, it was like she was bouncing back. Her neck healed, she could see her runes glowing golden before disappearing one by one. She felt strong, stronger than before. She felt fast, faster than before. She felt the lighting, more than ever. She screamed out as loud as she could somehow floating up into the air over the bridge before raising her arms up to the sky.

She brought her hands down and the heavens were channeled into a single bolt, striking Johnathan down to the ground as she screamed in fury. The man lay on his back, gurgling blood as she planted her feet on the ground and watched Jace plunge a blade into the burn to a crisp man.

"May god have mercy on your soul." Piper said before watching Johnathan fall of the bridge like she had, only this time he didn't come flying up. Then she blacked out, eyes fluttering shut.
