The night started with Piper and Clary watching Maureen and Simon preform, obviously the song was about love. The entire time Simon couldn't take his eyes off Clary and Maureen couldn't take her eyes off of Simon.

Piper felt bored, no offense to Simon whose music was passably good, it was more of a ADHD thing. Upon arriving outside the club Maureen fawned over Simon behind the Fray sisters. Clary had ditched the blue sundress dress and changed into a black longsleeve and and jeans.

It continued with Clary tagging Simon's van, renaming it something panda and drawing a weird mark on it. Maureen thought it was sandscript while Piper was adiment it was something called a rune.

Where and how she learned that she wasn't sure, Piper was just positive it wasn't sandscript.

"Melody Skywalker?" Clary laughed before Piper looked at her sisters ID. They were nowhere near good but it was all the two girls had to work with.

"Allison McCall?" She fired back and the two laughed at eachother. "Wow that's pretty low Cheeseball, pretty low." Adjusting her head Piper strutted through the entrance, the world seeming to slow around her. They flashed their Fake cards instantly getting in while Maureen and Simon struggled.

The two girls danced In the crowd before Piper grabbed her sisters hand. "I'm getting us drinks!" She shouted and Clary nodded. Piper made her way to the bar and grabbed two alcoholic beverages before turning towards her sister.

She knocked into somebody, spilling them both on her chest. Fantastic! Who didn't love bathing in sticky mixed drinks. "Watch it you-"

Piper looked up at a ninety degree angle to see the face of a very handsome man. She probably would have continued to look at him until she saw he was oogling her chest.

"My eyes are up here d-bag." She snapped her fingers, pointing at her eyes and his shocked face looked to her own.

"You can see me?" He asked, glancing down at her chest before looking back at her. This was the third person to look at her strangely today. Honestly she was begining to think there was something wrong with her.

"Yeah, you're standing right infront of me being creepy aren't you?" She firedback making a 'are you an idiot' face.

Then he apparently heard something that snapped him out of it and he walked away. Just then Clary glared at a blonde boy as Piper walked up. "Tattoos, I dig." Piper nodded to the boy who looked between the girls before walking off. "Hey wait a second.." he looked familiar.

The boy from the street.

"You can see him too!" Clary grabbed her sisters arm. Piper felt a spot in her chest cavity give off a vibe. Something about the two men intrigued and called to her. It also screamed 'you're in fucking danger that stranger has passed you twice today' but that could be ignored. For now.

"Wait, did he seem shocked that you could see him?" Piper asked, Clary nodded. "The d-bag that spilt my drinks did that too." Clary obviously had he same idea as piper because the two started going through the crowd.

Stranger danger was not a thing today. Although it should have been.

When the men entered the VIP area the girls linked arms and marched in like they belonged there too. Suddenly they were met by the blonde dude holding a sword at a woman.

What was happening In this VIP room.

Before Piper could grip the situation Clary knocked the woman down, the other men in the room snapping their attention onto the two new girls.

"Shit, Clary! I'm supposed to be the crazy one." Piper looked wide eyed as the woman stood, face breaking into black eyes and a mouth that looked like stranger things. "It's dart." Shreeked the red head as the black haired girl used a silver whip to fight off the darts while the blonde boy used a glowing sword.

One went after Clary and Piper ran at it, tackling it to the ground before kicking in its head. After that she got up and stood in front of Clary, though she was the younger twin hell would freeze over before something happened to clary.

A demon ran at them and Piper put her arms up. A flash of light protected them like a red shimmering shield and the demon rebounded before she let down her arms, the shield gone.

It didn't cross her mind to be concerned about what that meant.

A sword skittered across the ground and Piper picked it up, it glowed in her hand. Just like her dreams, it held a familiar sense of rightness. Piper twirled the blade around her hand before going after the demon and turning it to ash.

A "dart" ran at her and when she thought it was over an arrow pierced through it, the thing busting into black smoke. She saw the very attractive dark haired man from earlier. His dark tattoos contrasting his pale skin.

The dark haired girl had her silver whip yanked out of her grasp and Piper dove for it. She got it and flicked it at the demon who came at the girl. Then she tossed the whip and the girl caught it with a grin and flung a dagger at her. Pipers hand flew up and caught the hilt, embedding the blade into the nearest monsters chest before the fighting was done.

There was a pause of calm, the red head stopped to catch her breath. Across the room the dark haired boy looked up and they met eyes. His were a beautiful crystal blue, green weeding it's way through his iris like ivy.

A low growl sounded behind Pipers back, making her jump and twirl around. The half man half demon thing was almost on her, and she was weaponless. Before piper could open her mouth to scream an arrow squelched through the monster and into her thigh.

Now she screamed, and loudly too.

It was a weird thing to be looking at the arrow that had pierced through her. He shot her, the hot guy shot her with an arrow. It burned with pain, her entire leg felt like it was throbbing on fire.

"Alec! You shot the girl!" The blonde boy ran at to gently pressed around the wound. Piper swatted his hands away. "What do we do? Do I leave it?" He questioned.

"Yes! I liked her! You can't just leave it!"the black haired girl pouted before the blonde boy nervously tried to remove it. the slow pace made Piper grit her teeth nearly shattering them as she groaned through her lips.

"Stop! Stop!" She caved, hitting him away with shaky breaths. "I have to do everything around here. Swear." She snapped the end off the arrow, one hand striking out to grip the blonde's wrist before yanking it clean out the other side.

"You're a tough cookie, huh." The blonde patted her shoulder in what he probably thought was a comforting manner.

"Fuck you." Piper breathed tiredly, taking a moment to just lay back and bleed. Sweat drenched her, the shock of it all numbing the pain and her mind.

"This was his fault, so fuck him." The blonde countered smartly, slapping... slapping duct tape over her wounds.

"I'm sorry, she distracted me!" Alec defended before Clary yanked Piper by her arms and struggled to limp away with her at breakneck speed.

The strain was nearly enough to make Piper throw up, but she couldn't speak while her twin mercilessly drug her through the crowd.

"Clary? Piper?" A voice called but Clary yanked them into the backseat of a cab.

She wanted to tell Simon what had happened but it was too late. Flustered and out of breath Piper leaned back, processing what had just happened.

"Drive!" Clary yelled and the driver busted his butt driving us home. "Happy eighteenth birthday Piper." Clary said and the red head gave a weak laugh.

"What the absolute hell just happened?" Was all Piper responded with holding her taped wound that had been shot BY ROBIN HOOD with a freaking BOW AND ARROW

"So let me get this straight." Piper weakly muttered, "Robin hood, Goldie locks, and girl after my heart, Are shadow hunters—the tattoos are magic and Clary is a shadow hunter along with me?" I repeated, my bleeding leg was bandaged up properly now as Mom tried to tell us her crazy story.

"Yes, And since you're the one who clearly believes me you're going to want this." She handed me a red crystal wand with silver swirled metal surrounding it. Clary got a white one with silver casing, holding it away from her like the swords back at the club.

It looked exactly like what the blonde boy had dropped earlier, then suddenly he was fighting monsters where she was at only hours later? Things were going from odd to weird really really fast.

The craziest part being her mother thinking she believed any of this wasn't some wild dream.

"When did those words leave my mouth?" Piper asked sarcastically, waving her arms above my head and quickly regretting it. "What drugs have you been taking?" Her fit had been interrupted by Dot running through the door, dark hair flying behind her like strings.

She was almost more paniced than Clary, almost, Clary definitely took the cake on this one. She'd hardly said five words.

"They found you, Magnus called to give you a warning." Dot was waving her hands around as I sluggishly followed Clary. Piper was beginning to think everyone around her was speaking a different language.

The next thing she know she was being shoved, head first by the way, through a purple portal and landing on concrete.

She lay on her back, looking up at the hazy New York sky, trying to regain the breath which was knocked from her lungs. Piper's ears rang as she sat up, touching her head tenderly. The dark pea coat covered her up, thank god she'd decided to put on a jacket while the shivering shock had set in.

"Clary?" Piper said aloud, standing up and looking around the unfamiliar area. Clary and the apartment nowhere in sight. Piper was in a grassy part of some courtyard. She used her phone to call Clary but the twin didn't pick up.

Deciding to handle the pressing matter first, she used the ten dollar bill crumpled in the coat pocket to purchase cheese fries. Panic on a full stomach would be better than starving, and being terrified.

Her phone rang right as she sat to dive into the food, Clarys name on the front. Of course her call had come now and not five minutes earlier. She sat the bite down and answered a bit more aggressively than she should.

"What?"

"Piper, it's Mom, the apartments broken and she's—." Clarys line then beeped out. And pipers heart leaped into a race pace.

"Shit shit shit." Looked like it was going to be starvation and panic. Doing the reasonable thing, Piper stuffed the fries into her pockets and began to run (as fast as an injured leg would allow) back towards the apartment. She stuffed fries into her mouth between ragged breaths.
