I can see the prince, Freyjadour, Lady Sialeeds, and Sir Georg inside the room. I also can see a young woman and a little girl calling Jeane a hussy.

I know this scene. This is the scene where the prince takes his little sister around the city. That means the little girl is this place's princess and future Queen.

"Yo, prince!"

I can see Freyjadour looking at me while the young woman standing next to the princess puts her right hand on her back. I have a feeling she reached for the weapon behind her.

"Jacob! It's been a while."

"Jacob, how are you?"

I give Sialeeds and Freyjadour a smile before saying.

"It has been a while. I'm doing fine, how are you two?"

"We are doing fine, Jacob. Frey over here decides to take his beloved little sister to explore the city."

The little girl walked toward me and bowed slightly at me before saying.

"It is nice to meet you, sir. My name is Lymsleia Falenas."

"Ah, please call me Jacob, your highness. My full name is Jacob Shiff, a humble adventurer from the North Continent."

When I said that, I could see the young woman and the princess' eyes lit up before saying.

"North Continent?! Really?!"

"Aye. I come from a place called City-State of Jowston in the city called Muse."

"Ohhhh! I know that place! Father told me about that city when he was in the North when he was young."

"Ah, yes. Commander Ferid is a rather well-known warrior in the north. Not as famous as Sir Georg over here but he is famous."

"Sir Georg is famous?!"

The young woman, I think she is called Miakis, shouted while looking at Georg in shock.

"Fufufufu~ Excuse me~ I know it sounds rude but this is a store, you know?~ If you did not have anything to buy, please don't talk near the counter."

"Hmph! Fine! We don't want to stay here anyway, right brother?!"

Freyjadour can only laugh awkwardly and give Jeane an apologetic expression while his sister drags him away from the store. However, before they could walk away, Jeane decided to say something.

"Except you, my student~."

I can only sigh a little when I see the other look at me with widened eyes. Goddammit, Jeane!

When they walk out of the store, I walk toward Jeane and say.

"It's been a while, teacher."

"Fufufufu~ It has been a while. I must say that you are finally reaching the Journeyman stage. Congratulation~"

"Thank you, master. Your book really helped me in reaching this stage."

"Fufufufu~ Don't sell yourself short, child. Getting to this stage is something that many are really proud of. However, don't think of this stage as your only goal and stop growing because many magicians are already satisfied in this stage and stagnant in their growth. Have some ambition but not too big unless you want to use some... unsavory technique to increase your power."

Yikes. That is some scary frown she got there. Not even her beautiful face manages to hide that angry expression.

"I have a student that used some of those unsavory techniques and let's just say that they did not have a pleasant ending. I don't care if you are the right hand of God, if you decide to do that, I will kill you."

I nod my head in understanding.

"Don't worry, master. I will not."

"Good. I'm sorry to say it like that but I need to say it to all my students. I don't want their soul to be tainted by the technique they use. Especially your soul who shines brightly, your soul is dark but comforting."

"Dark? Does that mean I'm a bad guy?"

"What? Where do you get that kind of thinking? Dark souls did not make you a bad guy just like a bright white soul did not make you a good guy. Dark souls mean you have more talent in fighting while the white soul means you are more of a support person."

"Ahhh, is that the reason why my healing magic is not as powerful as my offensive magic?"

"That is correct. You can bypass this problem by attaching Rune to your body but it is good to keep training your magical spell."

"Yes, master."

"Good. Speaking of reaching the journeyman stage, where is the gift I give you?"

"Ah, I have it, master. Do you want it back?"

"No. It was a gift for you, I will not take it back. I'm proud of you for following the Old Teaching."

"How do you know that I only put them away when I meet you?"

"Do you?"

"No!"

"Then you are not. I know when someone is lying to me, Jacob, and you are not one of them."

"Thank you, master."

"No problem, dear."

I smile at her, get up and say.

"Master, can I ask how to be a Rune Master? While reading one of your books, I became interested in learning how to attach runes to myself."

"Sure! Wait for a second."

After a few seconds, Jeane returned and gave me five books before saying.

"These books are the beginner books for the future Rune Master/Mistress. Read them and practice on a special tool that you can find in Stormfist city where your tournament is held."

"Of course. Thank you, Master."

"Good. Now go. Your friend is waiting for you on the outside."

"Of course."

I nod my head and walk out of the store, where I can see the Prince and his companion waiting for me.

"Jacob!"

I smile at them and walk toward them.

The princess decided she wanted to visit the local restaurant, and I was invited. While waiting for some food, the princess looked at me and said,

"So, Jacob! Tell me about your adventure!"

"Lym!"

The prince called his sister's name and gave me an apologetic expression.

"Hahahahaha! I don't mind, your highness. Well, my adventure is not really exciting. Before coming here, I explored the northern continent, and I must say that this place is more... bright? Warmer."

"Really?!"

"Yes. The north is beautiful, but it is a harsh place. Monsters are everywhere and some of them are powerful enough that a hundred soldiers need to be deployed to kill them."

"Do we have that kind of monster?"

The princess looked at her guard in confusion. Sir Georg is the one answering her question.

"Aye. The northern part of Sol-Falena is filled with strong monsters that only Elite Soldiers can explore."

"Woah~"

When the princess looked at me once again, I told her about what I 'face' in the north continent. Well, truthfully, it was my journey in the game as Riou Genkaku rather than me exploring the northern continent.

I continue to tell them my story until the food arrives. Then, as we eat the food, I decide to ask them a question.

"Can I ask where you guys want to go?"
