Thank you to everyone that asked a question! It was so much fun to see what you were curious about, and I love being able to think about this story and the characters in all kinds of ways! Also, the fact that you all have been so supportive doing this crazy hiatus means the world to me. It just warms my heart that so many people love this story, and I just really love being able to write for it. (Also, happy birthday to me, lol.) Now, onto the questions!

I do want to answer a couple FAQ's right at the top:

Q: Will Akari ever get a Devil Fruit?

A: No, she will not. Half because I don't think I could figure out the perfect one for her and half because I want her to be prove she's strong without one.

Q: How did Portgas D. Rouge give birth to Akari if she died after giving birth to Ace?

A: That, along with other plot points during the series, have slight changes to the canon to fit Akari being placed within the universe. This one is explained in the first Off-Screen Filler Chapter.

Q: Why do Vivi and Akari both have blue hair? Yet they aren't related?

A: I had settled on Akari's appearance before reaching the episode that Vivi is introduced, and by that point I couldn't just change Akari's hair color. It made for a couple fun jokes, and a moment of wonder before her true relation was revealed. Akari's hair is a different shade than Vivi's, being more pastel than the princess's hair.

Now, these next four questions are from Darth_Pyrus66

Q: Are you going to put more filler chapters like you have on your list of fillers you are planning or you're going to do them when reaching post-timeskip?

A: There are for sure going to be more filler chapters! My plan is to have a Pop Idol AU after the Skypiea arc concludes and they are back down on the Grand Line. Then a College AU will happen sometime in the middle of the Water 7 arc (probably when they are heading on the train to get Robin). The Domestic AU (which I am still so excited for Luffy and Akari at a wedding scene I have planned) will be most likely at the end of Water 7. Then there will be a Mafia AU probably at the end of Thriller Bark. I also had a plan for a Zombie AU, which I think I do want to do again now, so that will happen sometime before the Marineford Arc begins (so like when they are sailing there would be when I would probably place it). Then when Luffy thinks back on his childhood with his brothers, I will figure out how Akari will look back at that time and have her show up there as well. Then once the timeskip happens, I was thinking of revisiting all the filler in the same order, just aging the characters up like what happens in the main story. I just don't know when I will revisit them. Hopefully that answers your question!

Q: Are you also going to do your own adaptation of the One Piece films with Akari in them anytime soon?

A: I've thought about placing Akari into some of the One Piece films, but I didn't really get farther than just thinking about it. When I watch One Piece I can't help but think how Akari would fit in, so I do have an idea of how she would fit within them. I would probably make another book for the films, but if anyone would like for me to do that, I can totally do it! Just let me know which movies you guys are interested in, and I can start working on them when I get a chance!

Q: Another question Buttercup-Rosie sensei, who do you think is Sanji's love interest or who will Sanji have as a girlfriend of his own later in the story?

A: Well, I personally ship Sanji with Nami, and that comes out at times during my fillers because I can stray further from the canon during those chapters. They might even become official in those fillers like after the timeskip, I don't know, it was literally a thought I just had while answering this question. As for later on in the main story, if anything, I want it to be natural. If I decide to have him and Nami together, I will want to do it seamlessly, and I don't know where that would ever be. At the very least, it might be at the end of the story (which makes me so sad to even think about). 

Also, it just warms my heart when people who comment and use an honorific with my username or author. Like, it is such a nice shock, and I just don't think that I deserve it, so thank you so much! :D

Q: Would you do a color drawing of Akari with the Straw Hats?

A: Considering that I can't draw, I don't think I could tackle something like that. However, I do have a fanart that I found on Pinterest that is meant to be Vivi and Nami, but the way they drew Vivi looks like how I picture Akari in my mind (though Akari's hair is a bit more pastel). Here it is! (And if anyone ever wants to draw fanart of Akari, please feel free!)

A: Another fun one for me! Okay, so, I embroider a little when I am in the mood. It just hurts my fingers after a while, so I have to do it in moderation. I like to color, and I have a lot of coloring books I am trying to get through. I also draw sometimes, and I really need to get back to drawing Pokémon (next up is Charmander). I play a lot of video games. I also read a lot; I even have a goal of 52 books of any kind each year. Lastly, I golf when the weather is good enough for it. I think that's all!

Q: You know those fun questions Oda has answered about the crew? If you could find those and answer them for Akari, that would be cool!

A: First, I did find a list of those fun questions, and second, find answers for Akari below!

I skipped like three questions from the list I was looking at for various reasons, but other than that, now all those fun questions have been answered for Akari!

Q: To Akari: What is your favorite thing about each crew member?

Akari: The Straw Hat Pirate crew truly has become my family in a lot of ways, and I love each and every one of them. There's no way my life would be the same without them. That's not the question you asked, but I had to say it. Anyways, my favorite thing about each of them? Hm, I don't think I can pick just one for each, but I can tell you my favorite things about each of them!

For Luffy, I love how caring he is for people around him. Even if they are strangers, if someone is in trouble, he wants to help them. I also love how he can be so carefree and full of genuine joy. It's hard to be in a bad mood with him around. Oh! And I love how when the moment calls for it, he can get so serious and kick some ass! He's the one person who has been there for my entire life, and I just love him so much.

For Zoro, my favorite things are that he works hard to get stronger so that he can fulfill his dream to be the best swordsman in the world, and also that he believes in how strong I am. He also is trusted to watch out for me when things get rough, and while I hope to not always need him to do that, it is nice for now!

For Nami, it is that I actually have an older sister now. That I have someone to talk about girl things with, which sounds so silly now that I've said it. I know that I can rely on her and that she isn't going to make fun of me. I also like that she thinks I'm a saint, when I think I am nowhere close to that at all.

For Usopp, I mean, how can I not love the outrageous stories that he tells? Even if I know they aren't true, it is still fun to hear the stories that he can create in his mind. Also, it is fun to see which of us is better at hitting a target. I mean, we both use different weapons, but it is still a whole lot of fun!

For Sanji, I really love the little treats that he gives to the three of us girls, even if the only reason he does that is because he is a little girl crazy. Honestly, all the food he makes is amazing, and I couldn't imagine anyone else being our cook. Besides that, I like how we can tease and taunt each other, but in a fun and sort of cute way.  

For Chopper, I have to start out with how cute he is! He's like a little teddy bear that I could always hug close. All of his forms are pretty cool, actually. It is also, hm, I guess I could say fun, to watch him research when there is downtime. His passion for helping everyone with any kind of disease is admirable and inspiring!

Lastly, for Robin, well, I haven't known her for that long, but it is fascinating to me how much she knows about everything. All I have to do is spend a couple minutes with her and I get a little bit smarter! (Okay, I don't always understand what she's saying, and I don't always learn, but at least I really listen to her!) Also, she's caring in her own way, and I know she watches out for me.

Now, for a question from LilyNelson557

Q: To Akari: What do you find annoying about each crew member? And who is your favorite (besides Luffy)?

Akari: Oh, another one for me? Hm, the most annoying thing about each crew member? Okay, I'll go in the same order as I did for my favorite things.

For Luffy, it annoys me when he rushes into a fight without thinking about it for like two seconds. I know that he can handle himself in any battle, even if he does get a bit banged up at times, but I still wish he would compose himself for a moment. Gah, him and Ace, they don't want to think if they can just fight and move on. Still, I love both of them so much.

For Zoro, I'd have to say that his absolute lack of direction can get a bit annoying. Sometimes getting lost can be understandable, but other times I truly can't believe that he gets lost when it is so clear where he needs to go. Gah, that boy could get lost on a straight path. At least it hasn't bitten him in the ass...yet.

For Nami, this might be a strange one, but it is a little annoying how she is always trying to dress me up. Don't get me wrong, I love that she buys clothes for me and lets me take anything of hers, but I don't want to dress in the same way that she does. She really wants me to show off, and while I believe her when she tells me that I am super cute, I'm just not as confident with my body as she is.

For Usopp, I don't say this to be mean, but it can get a bit annoying with how scared he gets over certain things. Like, don't get me wrong! There are things that freak me out as well, blood being the main one, but I don't freak out at every instance of danger (at least, not anymore). I'm hoping that the more we are out at sea, the more courage he will gain!

For Sanji, this one is probably obvious, but it can get a bit annoying with how much he likes women. I mean, there's nothing wrong with that, per se, but it can go a bit far with him. To a point where I want to slap him out of his trance, so he focuses on the task at hand (whatever that may be). At least I don't have to really deal with his advances.

For Chopper, this is going to sound weird, but I find it a little annoying that he still hasn't figured out how to properly hide and peak around a corner. It is super cute, don't get me wrong, and I love seeing him sticking out the wrong way. But sometimes I can't help thinking, "Come on Chopper! We've been over this before!"

And lastly, for Robin, I don't know if this necessarily annoys me, but it does suck that she is so closed off. I've been able to spend more time with her than anyone, but she doesn't like to give up much information on herself, and that is a bit frustrating. I want to be her friend, yet she doesn't seem to want to be my friend. Ugh, I hope she doesn't stay closed off like this forever.

Now, my favorite crewmate besides Luffy? Damn, I've never really thought about that. Each one of them means the world to me, and I enjoy spending time with all of them. Even if that doesn't happen often as we are always on the go and getting into some kind of trouble. Hm, okay, you asked, so I will answer. I have to say Nami (sorry everyone else!). I feel like ever since Arlong, we've gotten even close. We've talked about a lot of different things since Luffy freed her from that horrible fish-man, and I know I couldn't survive without her. I need another girl on the ship. Zoro was also in the running for my favorite since he has been with us since the very beginning, and I can always count on him to get us out of a pinch with his three swords. I know that Luffy trusts him to keep me out of trouble as well. Zoro means a lot to me just as Nami does. The same goes for the rest of the crew, of course. I went from a broken home that made me fear every little thing to a group of friends that are like the family I always longed for. Being a pirate is the greatest thing to ever happen to me.

And now for the more important news regarding chapters. Basically, I had too much faith in where I ordered the volumes, and I really don't know when I am going to be able to get the physical editions. I'm still going to keep looking and ordering them, as I still want my personal collection to have them all, but waiting to get them to update this story isn't going to work from this point on. That is frustrating for me, as I really do prefer to have the physical next to me while I write for this. Regardless, I have already bit the bullet and begun to write with a digital version I found that I have up on my phone. Sometimes the translation choices are strange, and the grammar is a bit off, but it really is better than nothing. And I have needed to write for this story again. I am having the time of my life, and I really believe the funk I've been in practically all summer is because I haven't been able to write for this. Anyways, I am rambling, so let me give the big news!

Starting on Wednesday, August 24th, chapters are coming back! Every Wednesday at 5pm EST there will be a new chapter. (And if I get really ahead in drafts, there could be a special post on the weekend once a month!) Regardless, guaranteed for the rest of the year is 19 chapters (unless I get really sick, but if I get a lot of chapters ready, that isn't going to matter).
