(Third person pov)

(Y/N) opened her eyes and looked to her left. Seeing the throne of skulls, she knew where she was.

"You made a pact with him." She mumbled. Loud enough for Sukuna to hear. Itadori was peacefully lying beside them. Sukuna didn't answer, meaning that she was right. (Y/N) turned around and what she saw surprised her.

Sukuna was on his knees.

"Please... Forgive me..."

There was a long pause. (Y/N) stared at him with a mixed expression. He couldn't tell what she was thinking or how she felt. But he continued.

"Let me fix my mistakes..." He lowered his head, looking at the ground. (Y/N) was surprised. Not because he was apologizing... She was surprised that he had the guts to actually ask for a second chance.

"Let me ask you... Do you actually think that you can fix what happened?" She asked. Turning her body to face him.

"I can try." He answered. For the first time, he heard her laugh. This made him look up at her. She had her hand on her face as she laughed. Once she stopped, she looked at him through her fingers. Instincts told Sukuna to look back at the ground.

"That's right... It's good that you're scared of me." (Y/N) said while walking a bit closer to him.

"Did you feel anything when you killed our child? Did you feel anything when you were the reason that my loved ones and our children died?" She asked. Slowly, getting more furious. Sukuna gulped.

At first, he didn't feel anything. But then, when he saw the Queen again. He felt something in his chest. He couldn't tell what it was... He knows now.

"...Please..." He mumbled. Taking her hand in his while looking up at her. She saw the guilt in his eyes.

"I promise... That I'm never going to betray you again. So please, give me a second chance." (Y/N) stared into his red eyes before she pulled her hand away from him.

"Make promises to yourself. Nobody. And I mean nobody gets a second chance. Not with me." She said. Sukuna looked back at the ground. Afterward, he was left alone. He gritted his teeth.

Even if it was hard to believe. Sukuna did feel guilt for what he did. He was the reason why his children died. And now he pays the price. And so, just like that, he made a promise to himself. That he's going to win her back and love her truly and wisely.

(Y/N)'s pov)

"We have a bit of time before the appointment with the principal. Did you want to stop anywhere?" Ijichi asked Gojo who was sitting next to me in the car. I was resting my head against the seat while they talked.

"It's fine. I'll show up early for a change." Gojo answered. Slowly, I opened my eyes.

"Stop the car." Gojo said. Looks like he felt it as well. Ijichi then pulled over and Gojo told him to go without us. We stood still. I looked around a bit, trying to find out where we are.

"Now..." Gojo spoke. Unbothered, I looked behind me and saw a curse jumping at us. The curse jumped in the middle of where we stood, both of us jumping away. I observed the curse closely.

"Who are you." Surprisingly, the curse ignored me and charged at Gojo. I watched as Gojo got blast away by the fire.

"That was easier than I expected." The curse spoke. I looked his way.

"You really think that?" I tilted my head to the side. A small smirk appearing on my lips. (Okay but like... One of those smirks that Tsukishima Kei did? Yeah, that's something that I imagined.

Yeah, this is something that I imagined while writing it.)

The curse looked at me before both of us looked at Gojo. He didn't get injured at all. My eyes slightly narrowed at him, studying him.

"Who are you... Calling easy?" Gojo asked. I could see how the curse got annoyed.

"Did I wound your pride?" The curse got into a fighting position. Although, my eyes were fixed on Gojo.

"Nope." Gojo cracked his finger while a smile crept on his lips.

"I'm starting to find this fun."

Time skip

All this time they were fighting, my eyes were fixed on Gojo. I watched him all the time. I wasn't paying attention to anything else, my attention was fully on Gojo.

Gojo kicked the curse away. The curse went flying away. I felt how Gojo landed behind me and leaned closer.

"Hey (Y/N)-chan." I blinked looking up at him. He wore a smirk on his face as he leaned even closer to my face. Without him noticing, I slightly pulled my head away. Otherwise, we would kiss.

"Why don't you go for Itadori? Let's teach him a few things, yeah?" He asked with a tone of voice that seemed to be quite teasing. I keep my eyes on his lips for some reason. Slowly, I smirked. Seconds later, I was standing behind Itadori.

"Itadori.." He slightly jumped once he heard my voice. He turned his head around to face me.

"(L/N)-san? Is something wrong?" He asked. I walked to the side of the couch and placed my hand on the frame. Leaning closer to his face. He backed away a bit, a small blush crept on his cheeks.

"Gojo is going to teach you... Now." I grabbed his arm and pulled him up. Once he was on his feet, I picked him up and threw him over my shoulder.

"Hey! What? Where are we going?" He asked. I took one step forward and once I took the next one I was standing next to Gojo. He looked at me with a smile.

"Just on time." Gently, I paced Itadori back on the ground. Well, on the water.

"Were not sinking?" Itadori asked. Stepping on the water a few times just to make sure.

"Why's he here? Is he a shield?" I looked at the curse. Gojo slightly chuckled.

"A shield? No, no. I told you, he's here to watch. I'm in the middle of teaching this boy lot of things." Gojo sort of explained the curse.

"Bringing in someone who will slow you down just makes you a fool." The curse grinned. I tilted my head to the side. Smirking.

"It'll be fine. After all... You're weak." Gojo smirked. The curse looked at us, but then he exploded with anger.

"Don't underestimate me, brat! I'm going to enjoy swallowing up that smug face of yours!" The curse screamed at us. The calm lake was now covered with waves.

"Domain Expansion!" I faced the curse, a black mist came out of his body, it surrounded us. Soon, there was only peach black.  Once we could see, the ground cracked and lava came out. Then, we got surrounded by some kind of a rock wall.

"Wh-What is this?!" I heard Itadori asked. The curse smirked.

"Coffin in the Iron Mountain!"

Gojo began to explain things to Itadori while I watched the curse. From what I know, he's a special-grade.

"Domain Expansion:" I snapped out of my thought and looked behind me. The blindfold that Gojo wore was now wrapped around his neck. I noticed that his hair fell as well. My eyes immediately looked at his eyes. The color was unbelievably beautiful. For a second, Gojo looked at me and gave me a warm smile.

"Infinite Void." He crossed two of his fingers. Afterward, I covered my eyes with my arm. Everything suddenly went white. I peeked a bit and saw that now, everything was black again.

"This is the inner world of Limitless." I looked at Gojo. He was holding the curses head with his left hand and Itadori with his right hand.

"Preception, communication... Every action involved in living is forcibly carried out an infinite number of times." Gojo explained. My eyes wandered to his face. Looking at his sky blue eyes. There was no wonder. His eyes were just beautiful.

Gojo looked at the curse with a smile that looked a bit psychopathic. He tugged at the curses head and just like that, he tore it off. Gojo threw the head on the ground. He placed Itadori right next to me. Then, he stepped on the curses head, keeping it in one place.

"So, tell me... Who told you to come after me?" Gojo asked. Itadori stood still. He seemed to be shocked by Gojo's actions. I placed my hand on my hip.

"You don't seem like the type to act on orders. Was something good supposed to happen if you kill him?" I asked while Gojo rolled the head with his foot.

"Come on. I want to know, so tell me." Gojo pushed his feet into the curses head.

"Like I'd ever tell you, brat!" The curse yelled at him. Slowly, Gojo wrapped the blindfold around his eyes while placing both of his hands inside his pockets.

"Are you sure that you should be saying that? Hurry up and tell us." I said and Gojo finished my sentence.

"Or I'll exorcise you. Of course, I'll do that either way." Gojo finished. Suddenly, my ears perked up. A small tree fell right in front of Gojo. I got into a fighting position. The grass field the covered with all kinds of flowers.

"Wow!"

"Flowers!"

"Pretty!"

I glared at Gojo and Itadori who were smiling like small children. Then I noticed another curse. I saw it pick up the curses head and run away. I wasted no time and began to follow them. Leaving Gojo and Itadori behind.
