Day 5

(Third person pov)

"Line up!" This was heard over and over in the army of sorcerers. Everybody was running around, picking up spears and shields, then lining up. The general of the army stood in front of his army, waiting for the Queen to come out.

"What if we have a smaller amount of men in our army. She might have more." One of the commanders said to the general.

"You're thinking about that now? We have been preparing for this for years now. And Im not going to run away." The general said, looking in front of him with a serious expression.

"Why do you have that expression?" His commander asked.

"They're coming..." He said. And just then, the loud yells of the other army could be heard from the other side of the field. Everything went silent and everybody watched as the Queen's army slowly came to the vision. There were more men than they thought.

"If you want to run away, nows the best timing." The general said to his commander. He gave commands to prepare for the battle that was about to start at any minute. The general watched closely and studied them. There were mostly men on horses but curses as well. The only thing he didn't see was the Queen.

Isamu looked over her shoulder the see if her army was still following her. And they were. She was leading her army right towards the enemies. She turned her head to the side to look at Akuma. And as soon as their eyes met both of them nodded in agreement. That was when they separated from each other. Isamu took the left side of the army and Akuma took the right. At that time the opposite army was already running towards them as well.

Akuma observed the terrain and tightened his grip around the burning torch. The men that followed him had also torches in their hands. Akuma narrowed his eyes a bit.

"Now!" Akuma yelled, loud enough for the others to hear. He leaned to the side while his horse continued to run. He let the torch touch the dry grass that quickly began to burn. Isamu was doing the same thing with her men. As their horses ran and they burned the grass, black smoke was getting higher and higher in the air.

The other army was confused. The general was thinking that they were surrounding them with the fire. Little did he know that this was not their attention at all. Their attention was to create a huge fog that will cover the sunlight. Why? Well because once the sun won't shine, Queen's Domain Expansion will be much stronger.

"Get them!" Isamu yelled. Throwing her torch to the ground, knowing that their job was done. She pulled out her sword and prepared to attack the other army. The same thing was done by Akuma. Few seconds have passed and the battle began.

Mirai watched from one of the towers of the castle. Looking down, she saw that they were already at each other's throats. She turned around to look at Amuka. Her job is to protect him even if it means that she will lose her life. That's what the Queen told her. And she will do exactly that. He will protect him. No matter the cost.

"Will mommy be alright?" Amuka asked. Playing with his fingers. Mirai gently smiled before walking towards him and hugging him.

"She will."

Slowly, the black fog covered the sky. And the sun couldn't shine through in anymore. Akuma and Isamu were fighting by each other's sides. Both of them felt a strong presence and they stopped fighting. Looking at the castle. The loud roar prevented everybody from moving. All the eyes were on the castle. And from the back of the castle, large wings slowly spread apart.

The Queen was flying in the air. Her hair blowing in the breeze, while she's looking down at the two battling armies. She was wearing a dead stare on her face. There were no emotions on her face. The only thing she wanted to do right now, was burn the whole world.

(I imagine her wearing something like this :3)

"Don't hold back..." She mumbled. Her beast roaring loudly from behind her. The army of sorcerers was taken aback by how huge this beast was. She grabbed her sword and flew down towards the battle. Her beast is following her.

Before she could even land on the ground, she slit the throats of the three soldiers. There was chaos everywhere. Blood was in every corner. The beast was burning everything that came to his sigh. This was the battle of two species. Humans on the one side, and curses on the other. And only one can win.

"Isamu!" (Y/N) yelled after killing one of many sorcerers. Isamu was paying attention to her but to the battle at the same time.

"Use your Cursed Technique!" (Y/N) yelled. Isamu nodded, placing her hands on the ground while whispering some things. Black glowing roots came out of the ground and began to grab the sorcerers by their legs. Taking them high in the air and then throwing them to the ground. Breaking their bones and killing them instantly.

Akuma was using his Cursed Technique as well. Pointing at few sorcerers and snapping with his fingers. Their bodies burst within a second. The remains of their bodies fell to the ground just as their blood.

Mirai quickly grabbed her ax as soon as one of the sorcerers came to the room, trying to kill Amuka. She threw the ax at him. Not missing and hitting his chest. His blood got onto her face. She pulled her ax out of his body and looked at Amuka. He was facing away, just as she told him to. Slightly jumping, she panicked a bit as another person walked through the doors.

"It's you Sukuna..." She calmed down. She narrowed her eyes at him and tilted her head to the side.

"Why aren't you in the battle? I mean... Why aren't you helping (Y/N)?" Mirai asked. Sukuna kept his gaze on the ground before looking at her. He turned around and slowly walked towards her, cracking his fingers in the process. Mirai was backing away till her back hit the cold wall. There was nowhere to go now.

(Y/N)'s pov)

I swung my sword back and then forth. Killing one of the sorcerers before jumping out of the way so I wouldn't get burned by the fire than my beast was spewing on my enemies. I saw that a few of the sorcerers were running into my castle. I gritted my teeth.

"Isamu! Go help Mirai! I want to make sure both of them are safe!" I yelled at her. She nodded and run past me. She rubbed her hand against my shoulder.

"Don't die on me..."

"Same goes for you..."

She runs off and the battle continues. I didn't even notice that I got separated from Akuma. And truly, I don't have time to think about that now. After killing a sorcerer, I raised my hand in the air and spun my sword around a few times.

I was sure that my beast noticed this because he landed on the ground next to me. As I was getting on top of him, he was spewing fire all around. Protecting me. Once I was holding tightly he knew he could take-off, so he did.

He carried himself high in the sky but not above the fog. After he turned around he began to fly back down. I didn't notice this but a spear was flying our way. Thankfully, he dodged it and began to spew his black fire on our enemies. As I was looking around I noticed that our enemies had some kind of weapon.

'That weapon could hurt my beast.'

My beast flew towards it and burned the weapon before it could hurt him. He was now flying towards my castle. And just as we were getting close to the castle, one of the spears flew our way and stuck into my beast's chest. He roared from the pain and lost his balance. He fell straight to one of the towards, before landing on the ground.

I jumped down from his back before he could fall. I looked his way, he was still able to move but not fly. Still, he will be a big help. I looked up at the damaged tower and noticed that it was the tower where Mirai and Amuka were.

I gritted my teeth and began to make my way towards there. Flying up till I came to the top. I stepped on the damaged floor and just stood there. The sounds of explosions and the roars of my beast died down. It was silent.

"M-Mirai...?" I mumbled, making few small steps towards her before running towards her. I refused to believe that she was in this condition because my beast flew into here.

"Mirai!" I screamed, shaking her body. Slowly, she raised her head which was now covered in blood. As she looked at me I could see her face clearly. her left eye was smashed. Blood was running down her face, to her neck and lower. The wall that she was leaning against was painted with her blood.

"I...I'm s-sorry..." She said. Her whole body was shaking. I looked at her body to see any serious damage and my eyes went wide. She was missing her right arm, and there was a hole in her stomach.

"Mirai don't talk!" At this point, there was nothing I could do. Her blood was escaping quickly and she probably lost a lot already. My eyes were getting watery because I knew, that she won't make it. I grabbed her by her cheeks and leaned against her forehead. She placed her hand on mine. Smiling, the tears fell from my eyes.

"...You did good Mirai..."

I felt a smile slowly creeping to her lips. And then, her hand fell down. I hugged her and placed my head on top of hers. Biting my lower lip to prevent myself from crying more. I took a few deep but shaky breaths.

"Thank you... Mirai."

I laid her down. And looked at her face one more time. She died with a smile on her face. I quickly looked away. Suddenly, all the memories with her crossed through my mind. I covered my face with my hands. Trying my best not to break down. I raised my head and looked in front of me. Amuka's dead eyes were staring right at me.

The tears were running down my cheeks and falling to the ground. I was just sitting there. Looking at his dead body. Slowly, I crawled towards his body and picked him up. Looking at his face that got wet by my tears. I pulled him closer to my chest. It felt like years have passed as I was hugging him. By that time, I wasn't even crying anymore.

I stopped thinking once I heard the loud roar. Turning my head slightly to the side, I saw my beast flying in front of the destroyed tower. He was looking right at me. As If he was saying: 'It's not over.' I stood up carrying Amuka towards Mirai and lying him down next to her. I gave both of them one last look before turning around and running towards my beast. I jumped and landed on his back. I kneeled and placed my hand on his scales.

"Burn them all..." That was the only thing I said before I jumped on the ground. My eyes beginning to glow in black color. A sorcerer charged at me and stabbed me. I grabbed his head and tored it from the rest of his body. I pulled out the small knife and hissed from the slight pain. Though the pain quickly disappeared as my wound healed.

I began to kill everything that came to my sight. Even those who were on my side. I didn't care anymore. The only thing that I wanted to do was kill. I don't know how it happened but I tripped over something and landed on the ground. Picking myself up, I looked around.

'How did it come to this?'

I asked myself as I saw Isamu lying on the ground, with a slit throat. Running towards her, few tears left my eyes. Once I was close I picked her up and placed her head on my lap. Looking at her face while crying.

She was already gone.

I didn't know what to do. I lost two of my best friends and my son. They were the ones I wanted to protect all my life. And now they are gone, and there's only one left. Akuma.

I placed her on the ground and began to run away. The last words that she said to me were ringing in my ears. 'Don't die on me...' I didn't die, but she did. I wiped away the tears that were running down my cheeks nonstop.

My ears perked up and I turned around. Catching the sword that was flying my way with my palm. Right in front of my face. I threw the sword to the ground and looked at the general of the other army. I narrowed my eyes at him. And he did the same thing.

I took my sword into my arm and charged at him almost immediately. Jumping in the air, I swung my sword at him and our fight began. I couldn't land a single hit on me. For me, this was no threat. I pushed him over and stuck my sword into his stomach. He hissed from the pain.

"Stay down." I glared at him and began to run away. I was sure that he was trying his best to push the sword away. But there was no way he'll get out.

"Akuma!" I yelled through the battle fail that was mostly empty. Most of the soldiers were already dead. Either dying in the fight or getting burned by my beat. Either way, I didn't care. Turning my head around, I spotted Akuma. Fighting against somebody. Once I saw Akuma falling to the ground I went to help him. Killing the enemies with a second and catching Akuma in my arms.

"Akuma!" I sook with his body. He looked at me with wide eyes, then looking at the sword that was stuck in his chest. Right in the heart. I stared at him with wide eyes, my mouth slightly opened. I looked at his face. Blood was slowly escaping from his mouth.

"Please no... Akuma no..." I mumbled. He wasn't moving, not anymore. I pulled him even closer and buried my face into his neck. Weeping, my beast landed behind me. Pushing his head down towards my body, as if he wanted to comfort me.

I lost them. I lost every last one of them. I cried for a long time, longer than I ever imagined. The heavy fog that was up in the sky slowly faded away. And my beast faded away as well. I was left alone, just like I always was.
