"Why? Why?" I sob, eyes bloodshot, tears unhidden as they streak down my flushed face. I can see tears forming in his eyes, a rare sight to see and one I wish I won't need to see again.

But he holds onto me, those green glassy eyes on mine. "Because I need you. Before I met you, I never knew what it was like to be able to look at someone and smile for no reason."

Every High School has a Queen, who's popular, powerful and perfect. Or so they think. At Ridge Wood, her name is Paris Gold.

You also have the Bad Boy, who's sexy, flirty and a player. Or so they see. His arrival causes quite a stir. His name is Jay Stone.

New to the school, Jay notices something about Paris that people choose to ignore: he sees her mask.

Ruler of the school, Paris notices something about Jay that people pretend isn't there; she sees his pain.

It was danger from the start and she should have stayed away, but something about him makes her curious. Trouble is being around him for too long, feelings are bound to grow.

Question is: Does he feel the same?
