Today is the day. I am ready to destroy all my sins and start a new beginning. Dad says she's ecstatic to meet me and that she's so happy that I finally decided to meet up. I can't help but be incredibly nervous, my body shaking as I readied myself. As I look at myself in the mirror, I smile whilst inhaling and exhaling slowly to calm my nerves.

I'm wearing a dark cream backless bandage dress with straps that dances around my neck and black heels to contrast the colour of the dress. My hair gently bounces in my shoulder as I finish up my makeup, trying to not overdo it. Then I finish my look with a dark blush colour lipstick to compliment my light makeup on my face.

"You'll be fine." Quinn says, her voice booming out of the phone speaker.

"I know. I'm just scared. What if I'm not good enough and she hates me and she finds me disgusting and-"

"SHUT UP!" Quinn scolds and I close my mouth. After a moment, Quinn sighs, I can almost see her rubbing her forehead. "You'll be fine. She'll love you. I mean, look at Jay."

At the sound of Jay's name, I begin to blush madly and mumble back a reply. "Thank you, Quinn."

"Any day. I got to go, love ya chica."

Then it's just me. I'm so nervous, my body is practically shaking. The bell rings and echoed throughout the house, scaring me as I was still in a daze. I jump at the sound of the melodic chime but calm down then grab my clutch before heading downstairs, where my Dad is waiting at the bottom of the stairs. His eyes widens and he sends me a stunning smile as he holds him hand out, allowing me to hold onto him as I make my way down.

"I'm so proud of you, my beautiful baby girl." He kisses my forehead, my eyes flutter shut as I relax my body into my father's arms. "No matter what happened, it's not your fault, it's no ones. He made his choice and now you need to make yours."

"I love you, Dad." I whisper and Dad smiles as me before opening the front door, revealing Jay, who is leaning against one of the stone pillars, his shades covering his am eyes as he gazed around his surrounds, uninterested.

"Jay," Dad says, firmly, and Jay stands up, straighter, with a smile that caused my heart to skip a beat or few. "Look after my girl."

Only then does he looks over to me, eyes widening so big as his eyes gazes down my body,  practically undressing me with his eyes. I can almost see a cocky smirk on his face as he teases me and makes me blush. He lifts his shades onto his head and gives me a sly wink before sending a serious look to my dad and nodded in understanding.

"Yes, sir." He finally says and I grin at him, walking towards him.

"Good. Have a good time, kids." Dad sends me one more soft smile before he closes the door. The summer breeze drifts around us, the calm essence floating about while the sound of birds singing harmonically fills the air.

"You look beautiful." Jay whispers, kissing my lips and leads me towards his car, my fingers entwined with his.

"You don't look too bad yourself." I reply, grinning, as I enter the car. Jay is wearing a white shirt and black trousers with a matching black blazer, his hair neatly combed back, showing me a silver piercing in his right ear, that I never knew he had up until now.

"You think?" He grins, quite smugly, and I laugh, nodding my head as he closes my door and walks over to the driver side.

When he enters the car, I inquire. "I didn't know you have a piercing on your ear."

He starts up the engine, a rumble vibrated through the car, then he reverses out of the parking space and send me a mischievous smirk. "There's a lot you don't know about me."

I roll my eyes and roll down the roof of the car, allowing the wind to blow in our hair. It's a nice breeze, warm and comforting like a blanket, it generally comforts my nerves and makes me smile. I glance over to Jay, who's driving with no care in the world, and smile a bit wider as I realise that I'm so lucky to have him in my life.

"I take it out sometimes. I forgot to this morning." He suddenly says, breaking me out of my daydream.

"Really?" I look over to him whilst slipping my shades over my eyes.

"Yep."

There's a comfortable silence and suddenly a idea pops in my mind. A evil smirk crawls onto my lips as I carefully drop my hand onto his upper thigh. From the corner of my eye, I see him stiffen and grip into the wheel so tightly that his knuckles begins to turn white and his jaw clenches with annoyance and frustration that's building within him. Slowly, I move my hands upward, closer to his manhood, my eyes still looking straight forward as I smirk maliciously.

"Baby, I'm trying to drive." His voice comes out husky and my core clenches but I don't stop as I instead graze my hand across his manhood, causing him to hiss in pain. "Gold, I swear if you don't stop, I will take you here and there." Jay warns, his voice low and sexy.

Smirking widely and devilishly, I remove my hand but I don't stop teasing him as I cross my leg over the other one, flashing my red panty as my dress rides up. I see Jay glancing down before looking back up, muttering cusses under his breath.

"Fuck my life." Jay hisses quietly, causing me to giggle as he scowls at me then he grabs my hand, places it on my lap and entwines our fingers together like a laces, smiling to himself as he does so.

And he's all mine.

"There she is." I breathe out, anxious, but Jay wraps his arm around my waist, pulling me into his chest which helps me calm down a little bit. But only a little bit. I chose to ignore the fears and focus on everything else as we near her.

"You'll do fine." Jay murmurs as we walk up to her and her husband. I exhale slowly then I place a fake smile, standing up straighter and more confidently.

Mum spots me first and stands up, smiling widely as if she's living a dream. And to me this is a dream that I'm scared will end soon. Maybe that's why I don't hug her first because I'm afraid of what she'll think if I make the first move or why I don't anything but only look at her in pure shock, not totally in the zone.

"Paris,"

She gets out of her seat and Jay lets go of me so that my mum can embrace me. I close my eyes, my arms wrapping around her, and I hold back the tears. It's been so long since I last done this. Once she finally lets go, she looks at me, her eyes filling with tears but she blinks them back, trying to be strong, something I've been doing my entire life. No wonder I'm so good at it, I get it from Mom.

"You're so beautiful. I know you always would become this strong, confident young lady. I mean, you are my daughter," I chuckle, my throat drying up as I clean the unshed tears and she does the same, mimicking my motions. "I've missed you so much."

Mum pulls me into a hug again and only when she finally lets go, we all take our seat around the table, leaving two chairs vacant.

"This is my husband, Bryan." He looks at me, wearing a genuine smile. Bryan is a decent looking man with jet black hair, a few strands of grey hair, and hazelnut eyes. My mum looks down at him, love clear in her eyes, and I finally understand why Dad let her go. She wasn't happy with him and if she stayed she'll be miserably for the rest of her life. Dad didn't want that so he met her go. And he didn't complain. Instead he shut everyone out. He didn't speak to anyone. Anyone besides me.

"Nice to meet you, Paris. I heard wonderful things about you." He says softly even though his voice is quite deep and masculine.

"You too." I reply, weaving my fingers with Jay's and introduce him to my Mom and Bryce. "This is my boyfriend, Jay."

Boyfriend. We're not even official but I can't think of anything else to call him and that word seems like the perfect fit for him. However that doesn't faze Jay as he sends his million dollar smile that has his green eyes lighting up like fireworks.

"Nice to meet you, Mr and Mrs Roman."

"Nice to meet you too, Jay." Mum replies, her smile widening and her eyes glitter with approval. She then turns to me and speaks in a softer and happier tone as she tucks a strand of hair behind her ear. "We're waiting on your two stepbrothers."

"I have older brothers?" I repeat, suddenly nervous again and begin to shift in my seat. Jay noticed this and rests a hand on my thigh, rubbing his thumb affectionately against my skin, causing my heart beat to calm down as I focus my sense on his touch, ignoring everything else around me. I've been so used to being an only child that the thought of having siblings seem insane and scary, especially two elder brothers. What would they think of me? Maybe a brat? Or a slut? Or fake? Or-

"Breathe." Jay murmurs as he leans towards me and places a gentle and almost feather like kiss on my cheeks, causing my cheeks to flush up like red tomatoes.

"Yes," Bryan begins to say, smiling reassuringly as if he can sense my nervousness. I bet everyone can, it radiates off me like a new fragrance. "They're both twins, a handful, they are."

"You'll love them and they will love you." Mum chides in, smiling brightly as Bryce looks over at her and chuckles.

Mum hasn't changed. She still has that stunning blonde hair that I inherited and her striking grey eyes, her bubbly and strong personality still shinning after all these years. I get my personality from her, courageous and brave, Dad always told me that when I was younger. I inherit my blue eyes from my Dad but I get most things from my Mom, such as my blonde hair and body shape. Maybe that's why it was hard for Dad it be around me after Mom left. It was because I reminded him of her too much, I looked exactly like her and the colour of my eyes was a painful remind that once upon a time, she was his.

"Shall we order, then?" Bryan suggests and calls for a waiter as I look over to Jay, a proud smile on his lips.

He mouth, I'm proud, to me as the waiter takes our order. A blush forms on my cheek and I see Jay smirking, cheekily while telling the waiter what we both want from the menu. I roll my eyes and lean towards him, resting my head in my shoulder as he pecks the top of my head and begins a conversation with Bryce. In that moment, everything seems alright and everything is alright, and I wouldn't change that for a second.

So she finally met her mum. I'm actually proud of this chapter.

The next update should be up in 4-6 days since that's what I did with my other chapters.

What do you think is going to happen? Have you worked out what the other two tasks are?
