I MADE A TEASER!! The teaser is based off Abeer's POV so thats why fawad looks like the "third person" rather than a love interest.

Anushka Sharma as Nazia, Ranbir Kapoor as Abeer and Fawad Khan as Kabir.

After her departure, the four stare and prod at their food. Kabir awkwardly taps his fingers on the table and Megha moves her fork around the pasta, her appetite gone and replaced with questions. She finds herself wondering if Abeer is actually who she though he was. Meanwhile, Kabir and Harnaam panic with worry for their friend.

Abeer's phone buzzes. The sound gets everyone's attention and all them are thankful for the distraction. The silence is overwhelming. Kabir yearns for something other than his rapid tapping on the table and Harnaam's glances towards the door.

Abeer takes out his phone and with a glance, he gets up. "Sorry, I need to go. It's a pretty urgent call," he comments, watching the private number. Kabir nods, graceful that this disaster is finally over. Megha leans over, letting him breathe in her shampoo as she kisses his cheek. A smile washes over Abeer's face, resembling more of a smirk than a genuine smile and it makes Kabir bite his lip harshly.

When he's more closer to the door than the table, he cuts the call off and dials Nazia's number. Only yesterday, he was organizing files for her studio and he manage to find her number. It was different from her previous number and that explained why only a few weeks ago, when he was huddling in the freezing snow, he couldn't manage to get her to pick up her number. He had her number memorized on the tip of his tongue, from the very first day she gave it to him years ago. And yesterday, while leaning over paperwork he had re-read the number with memories of their time spent together until he fell asleep upon her name.

It brings memories back, reminding him of the way he had finally got the guts to finally ask her on a date. It took a year's worth of him making that effort. He could still remember the day he met her, when he was still unloading boxes into his new home and she had that huge smile on her lips. The way she said hey, the way the wind blew that one strand of hair into her eyes, the way it took him seconds to regain conscious and to finally reply to her words. For the whole night, he was awestruck and confused on how someone could possibly have such a beautiful smile. How could someone just place him into a trance within a pull of her lips?

Ever since that moment, he was determined to make Nazia his own. Too bad that his track record wasn't that well. Even while pursing Nazia and a degree, he found himself having flings with odd girls which led to Nazia having a serious distaste for him. It took him six months to make her believe he was an okay person and even longer to make her fall in love with her.

The problem is that he fell for her as well.

He tapped call and places his phone to his ear. His eyes wander outside of the window, taking in the way that the cloud loom over dangerously. Abeer isn't a weather forecaster but he definitely knows that either snow or rain will fall upon his black jacket soon.

"Hello?"

Abeer takes a sharp inhale, taken away from the way her voice sounds. It's finally softer, it's not as harsh as she usually is. The simplicity of it makes him sound like a fool but he has been yearning for Nazia to call out his name with love for months now and the slightest change has the power to pull him to his knees.

"Are you okay?" he asks. Upon hearing his voice, Nazia lets a sigh escape her lips. "I know, I know. You're not in the mood to talk to me. You don't like me, you hate me but I still love you like I did -"

"And where does Megha fit into this?" Nazia interrupts him, her tone switching back into the one reserved for him. His heart sinks lower and he finds himself sighing.

"The same way Kabir fits into this. He's a rebound, isn't he? He's a pretty guy but do you even love him?" Abeer argues back. He taps his hand onto the edge of the door, his eyes sneaking glances in the clean window to see the reflected version of Megha and Kabir sitting at their table. "Are you only dating him for sex?"

The thought, the mere idea of Nazia's body laying undressed under Kabir's brings a bad taste to Abeer's mouth. The idea of her kissing someone beside him, of her waking up beside someone else or anything else fills him with such envy and anger.

"We're engaged for a reason. Kabir has never been a rebound. Where did you get the idea?" Nazia spits out, her voice holding a high level of disgust. "And it's none of your business on why I'm dating Kabir. You're nothing besides a bad mistake."

"Bad mistakes don't last for years, Nazia. You met Kabir right after our break up. How long was it until you he finally started dating you? Did you smile at him, twirl your fingers around your hair and laughed as loudly as you could around him? I bet he started dating you for the same reason as me - "

The line hangs up. Nazia bites her lip hard, her knees covering her chest as she tried to conceal her tears. A few strangers had walked past her car to give some concerned looks but no one stayed long enough to ask her what happened. She feels oddly disconnected from her body as if this thing wasn't hers, as if it was something else.

As if it was an object.

It was obvious but Nazia never picked up on it. She should have known from the beginning on who Abeer really was. How could she assume he was an okay guy even when she could remember different girls coming to his house every week and different girls leaving his house in tears. How did she even fabricate the fact he was with her for another reason than lust?

The whole concept of dating someone based off their looks is against her morals. She would date someone for their soul, not their cash, their looks or their kisses. Lust itself seems foreign to her; she's only ever kissed Abeer or Kabir.

To him, she was nothing besides a body. Perhaps later on, he could have realized her soul was far more beautiful but it's too late. The damage is done and be can ever undo what he's done.

Meanwhile, Abeer blankly stares at the phone. He already knows he's screwed it all up. If Nazia didn't hate him before, she definitely did now. He's tempted to kick the wall, to hit something and let his steam of anger go but he can't. Instead, he places a huge smile on his lips and turns back to his table.

None of them notice how his eyes seem dull, all the life sucked out him and replaced with anger.

FIFTEEN MINUTES LATER, Kabir is walking towards where his car should be. The idea of Nazia leaving goes through his head but he still carries on walking. He lets a sigh of relief out of his mouth when he notices his car along with Nazia is still here.

It took him so long to come here. Throughout those terrible fifteen minutes, he had constantly looked out of the window or ate his food as quickly as he could. Megha would've been disgusted but she knew what his circumstances were. Harnaam wouldn't let him go and she kept telling him how Nazia would probably want space.

At first glance, nothing seems out of place in their red car. At his second glance, he realizes that Nazia is leaning her chest against her knees and is furiously wiping away tears. Kabir's mouth is left slight agape in worry and suddenly, he feels slightly angry at Harnaam for telling him to give space.

Kabir runs. He opens the car door on the other side and slides into the passenger seat. The whole act causes Nazia to look up with slight worry. Her features melt into a tight lipped smile when she sees it's Kabir rather than the reasons for her tears.

Both of them watch each other for a few seconds, silence looming over them. Kabir didn't know what to say or what to do. Kabir leans over Nazia to pull out the key of the car and he finally gets sick of the space between them and he leans in to hug her tightly.

His hands rub her head, her hair flying all over him. Nazia's hold of Kabir tightens and despite the fake smiles that she shot him as soon as he got into the car, he knows she's not okay. The feeling of wetness on his shoulder is enough to say that she's crying and he can already imagine her crinkling her eyes as she tries to contain her tears.

His heart shatters more.

It's already ripped into pieces by the way she ran out of the restaurant. By the pain in her eyes and the restrains that held him back. The fact he couldn't help her is enough of a blade and another was that she couldn't get over Abeer. It's been three years since she last saw him and even in all that time, a single reminder of her heartbreak is enough to break her in half again.

It stings him so much and he wants to say something. To speak something, to mention his own heartbreak but he can't when Nazia is already so shattered.

"It's okay," he mutters causing Nazia to hug him tighter. The way he spoke the words, the warmth and kindness invloved makes her heartache.

Nazia leans out of his embrace, wiping at her eyes frantically to cover up her tears. She stares at the driving wheel and Kabir frantically searches in his pocket for the keys. When his grip tightens on the metal keys, he places them Nazia's palm and his hand lingers on Nazia's longer than needed.

Despite having no words exchanged, Kabir already had read Nazia's mind. He couldn't stand Nazia's way of coping - which invloved a lot of noise, distraction and ignoring the subject. Kabir claims it makes everything worse.

With the silence of the engine, all Nazia had was her heartbroken thoughts, painful memories and Kabir. Kabir is his entirety with his soft shirts, his pepperment scent, his strong arms and his recently shampooed hair. Kabir with his smoothing voice, his words of 'it's okay', his deep voice and his gentle rubs on the back. Kabir with the love he always had for her and the love he'll always give to her.

It's strange how well Kabir knows her, how he knows that silence would be better than constant chatter. Within two years, he managed what Abeer couldn't.

Nazia turns the engine on and she tlits the review mirror slightly. Her eyes widen at the way the eyeliner and mascara trail down her face. "I think I have tissues in my coat," Kabir comments, his hands diving into his pockets again to receive a packet of tissues. tissues passes them to Nazia who gratefully shoots him a small smile.

He misses her. He misses her large smile that overtakes most of her features, her laughter and the way her teeth flashed as a laughed. It's as if Abeer himself is a bad weather that won't go away and just becomes worse instead of better.
