So, the other corner of the earth had two more girls who kept walking ahead but being extra cautious. The place was scarily different than the previous one. They needed to be careful or these monsters that surrounded them and stood on their places quietly could attack them any second. They only wandered for a chance to hunt their prey, but the girls were yet to let them. Just one guess of their presence by those wild creatures, then it would be one moment away to find them dead. They knew the risk but still decided to pass them carefully and dodge their instincts time to time.
However after some ups and downs, the girls were finally successful to cross them.
One of them whispered but her voice didn't dare to make any verbal sound,
"Sumo, we did it!"

Sumo also replied in the same way but with excitement,
"Yas!! But we can't make sound!" She again said by moving her hands and cheek muscles, "Suzy! Let's go there. That place is safe, I think."

Suzy nodded with her watchful nature to agree with her, "Okay-"

The girls had no shoes on because the earth continues to send vibrations of footsteps to the substrate under the creature's feet. These wild beings were attracted to this definite vibration since they had no eyes to hunt. The sound of their steps was considered to be the death letter which they got to know from their last experience.
And if one thinks that their life is dearer than any other things in the world, then they should make no sound too. It always becomes easy to trick them at night. So, Suzy and Sumo were in disadvantage.

"Oops..." slipped from Suzy's mouth.
Sumo asked, "What happened?"
Both exchanged looks. A hot breeze blew past them when Suzy sarcastically smiled at her and started saying,
"I think, we have..."

"What??" Sumo got more curious.

"Stepped on something weird," Suzy finished.
Hearing her, Sumo lost her ability to think further. Before she could process it, Suzy suddenly pushed her to the other side which luckily helped Sumo to escape from the quicksand and all of a sudden she was out if it's reach.

"Great! Now it's time for their dinner!" Suzy appreciated. So the sand didn't remain quiet. It was feeding on its meal by engulfing Suzy bit by bit whenever she tried to fight back.

Before falling on the ground, Sumo noticed she made some huge steps to defeat the gravity but failed. And she got bruised on her hand,"Ouch_!"
She released a sigh of relief to the fact that no monster came out running to eat her as she eyed everywhere around.
And there, Suzy was getting tired. The sand already swallowed down her to the chest.
Sumo quickly got up on her feet. She started looking for anything that could pull Suzy out from the death trap. With her luck, she got a long rope, lying in front of a cave made of stone. Sumo didn't have the time to pay attention to the shape of that cave. She took the rope by not delaying any second. She gestured to Suzy that showed_
"Don't move idiot! I am coming."

She threw the rope to Suzy. Suzy grabbed it tightly and hoped for the best. With this going, Sumo started pulling her from the other side. The pulling was continued till Suzy caught a glance of a monster just standing a little far behind Sumo. But there, Sumo was busy in going back and forth with the rope for her friend.
Suzy sighed.
She pointed at her friend to look behind and Sumo did so. She murmured, finally looking at it,"Fuck!"
The monster leaned to attack Sumo. Leaving the rope, she took out a gun from her pocket. But she was getting late to aim at it. Its pace was so fast as it came running and Sumo got nervous to fire.

Suzy loudly giggled and said suddenly,
"Hey monster! Cute monster!! Look here!"
Then the monster turned its head to Suzy while running. And Suzy continued, "I am the most delicious here. Come, eat me!!"
Then it changed its direction to Suzy who began to slapping on the sand to create the definite sound which the monster was drawn to, not to the one who stood noiselessly with the gun in her grip. Suzy continued to smile and wave at it while being stuck in the sand -"Hey! hey! here!!!"
So, monster jumped big on the quicksand to catch Suzy and she was like, "YEAH! I AM NOT DYING ALONE!"
But the monster was really powerful. It was almost a foot away from Suzy as it struggled with its long hand and legs between sand and all its dirty salivas. Watching this, Suzy finally realized
-Shit! Didn't think like this..

Meanwhile, Sumo ran bravely as she long ago stopped caring about 'the step thing' and rolled on the ground with a position to aim at the monster. She pulled the trigger fast and finally fired at the target. The bullet went through the monster's body which caused in bleeding. At first, the monster stopped moving, then it became alive but with less power than before. Suzy was dumbstruck. Later she showed her anger, "Why this shit never dies!!!?"
Suddenly Sumo screamed for her attention,"Suzy!! Hold the rope! Quick!"

So, Suzy waited for Sumo to toss the rope again to her. After making sure she held the grip, Sumo started pulling her till she was out of the both sand and monster.
The girls started taking breath heavily. They couldn't believe they were safe and hugged each other tightly after a moment.
Breaking the hug, Sumo exclaimed to her,"We should run again."

Suzy wiped the sweat from her forehead and tiredly let out her word, "Why?"

"Look behind," Sumo notified her. Suzy did what she had said.

"What did you see?"

"Monsters are coming."

Sumo gave a smile and asked,"Then what are we waiting for?"
Suzy smiled back, "Yeah baby! lets have some fun!"

The two got ready to scream ugly and run with their large steps.
