"Mam! Stop acting like a baby. You are twenty-six now." Vidushi said and I was still laying on my bed. I had no thought of leaving this room, this hospital.

"I know."

"Then please co-operate with me. Let's sign the discharge papers and leave the hospital."

I was staying in the hospital till now.

I was alright but I wanted to stay; for now.

Just for a few more days!

All my injuries were healed, but I was having a hunch to not leave this place. Why? First because of Dhruv. And then because of that Samaira.

I don't understand why both siblings are so different. Her brother is so cool yet understanding while Samaira always decides to be a bitch and acts same too.

She just knows one thing, how to steal other's man!

Yet, she never loves them.

She just leaves them after using.

Even though Shrey has had his own shares of flings and one night stands, he always warn women beforehand. Being clear from the starting is better than playing with someone's emotions!

I've seen a number of men having breakdown because of her fake love, but I could never say or do anything against her. She always had nani's support, who was unaware of her wrongdoings.

Sometimes I feel bad for nani, for how she's always fooled by Samaira. But then, how can I forget that Samaira is her sweet and sanskari granddaughter, as named by her. Nani and her upbringing!

"Mam. Mam..."

"Hmm..."

"Natasha!" I heard Ashima's roaring voice and immediately stood up. This woman is scary, I tell you! "Why aren't you signing the discharge papers? You are fit and fine. Let's leave."

"Neither I'm fit, nor I'm fine. See, my joints are paining a lot." I said in my lowest voice while pressing my joints.

"It's been three weeks you're here. Everything is alright. You'll sign the papers now, in front of me. No more discussions." She said and I made my classic pout face with puppy eyes, which can be used to bring anyone on your side.

It's my and mum's classic and most effective weapon!

It has never failed.

"Nothing like this is going to work on me. So many shoot of yours are in pending. And, there's no need to stay here, in hospital."

"That's what I'm saying for past thirty minutes." Vidushi sighed and sat on the couch.

"What's wrong with hospitals? It's so good. Everything is so well." I said and Ashima rolled her eyes. Nothing is wrong with this hospital to be specific. It has great and skilled doctor like Dhruv. The love of my life, Dhruv works here. Nothing could ever go wrong with this place.

"Let's go."

"Please... Can't I stay here for some more days?" I asked and she glared. "One more day. Just twenty four hours?" I asked, this time with puppy eyes and she narrowed her eyes.

"Just an hour. Not a second more than that." She said and I grinned with joy. Quickly standing up from the bed, I ran towards her and kissed her cheek before running out. "Natasha! Where is your joint pain now?"

I quickly ran towards Dhruv's room, only to find it empty.

He would be checking his patients!

I walked out and checked the whole floor, but couldn't find him anywhere.

"Hey!" I heard a voice and turned back. "Ms superstar, do you remember me?"

"Vikas, right? Dhruv's friend." I said and he narrowed his eyes.

"I'm a doctor too."

"Oh.... I'm sorry. I forgot that."

"You're searching for Dhruv?"

"How do you know?"

"I know everything. You don't need to stress about it. By the way, he's busy in a surgery." He said and I nodded.

"Don't you have patients too? Dhruv is always busy with his patients, but you're always roaming around freely, as if you have no work." I said and he pointed towards himself in question.

"Me?"

"Yes you. Everytime I go out, I always see you walking around in the hospital. Why don't you treat some patients in your free time?" I said and he looked towards me in question.

He chuckled in a sarcastic way, ofcourse making me his enemy in his mind before walking away. But that was for his own good.

I waited for a few minutes until Dhruv arrived. Giving him some time for changing his clothes, I stood out, against his door without his knowledge.

"Excuse me. Can you get aside?" Samaira came in my way and asked. I raised my eyebrows and she faked smile. "We have a date planned, so clear my way. And for your information, Dhruv and I are going alone."

She was clearly sprinkling salt on my wounds!

The door opened and I saw Dhruv looking at us with question.

"I am free. Would you like to accompany me to coffee?" She asked and he immediately nodded. Wait, what? Why did he agree?

Can I kill Samaira?

At first, she made my childhood a hell.

And now this!

"Wait! My arm is paining. Can you check it?" I asked Dhruv and he nodded. He pressed the bone joints and waited for my reaction.

Shit!

I shouted and said, "It's paining here. At this point."

"I think it's alright. Use some heating pads if necessary." He said and was about to leave with her when I shouted. As he turned back, I clutched my chest.

"My heart is aching!"

"But it's on your left, not right." He said and I looked towards my hand, which was on the right side of my chest. I immediately slid my hand to left and looked at him.

"It's aching a lot." I said while sitting on the chair.

"I'll ask one of the doctors to check your condition. Just a minute." He said and pulled his phone out to call another doctor. I think he already knows that I'm acting. But I'm not a bad actor, am I? No, I'm not.

Just in a few seconds, I saw Dr Vikas walking towards us.

Gone!

I'm gone.

I shouldn't have commented on his work.

I'm gone!

Get ready to die Natasha!

What if he takes me into OT and kills me during the surgery? No, I'm not going to have any surgery!

"What's the matter? Who's the patient?" Vikas asked and Dhruv directed at me. Vikas nodded and gave me a wicked smile as Dhruv walked away with Samaira.

He won't kill me, right?

"So, you have a heart problem? Let's go and run some tests."

"No. I'm perfectly fine. I need to go."

"But your heart was aching, wasn't it?" He said and I narrowed my eyes. "Don't worry. I won't stop you from following him. Just that, you shouldn't spoil someone's date."

"That's on me to decide. I'll go." I said and quickly walked out. Getting into my car which was kept in the hospital parking for days, I started it and followed their car, which was not far away.

As their car stopped outside a cafe, I too parked my car there and walked inside.

Picking the seat adjacent to them, I sat there to hear the conversation between them. There's no way I'm going to let him be with her alone. She's too dangerous!

I was wearing a thick scarf, shades and a mask, so that no-one recognises me.

They asked for a coffee and she started first.

I knew it.

He didn't want to talk to her. She was the one.

"Dr Dhruv, thanks for accompanying me." She said and he hummed. "I heard that you have a pretty busy schedule."

"Yes, patients are my first priority."

"It's good. But, don't you think we need to separate some time for family too?" She said and he hummed.

Says who!

The one who has nothing to do with families.

"Mam, do you want something?" One of the waiters came towards me and asked. God! Only this was left!

"A cup of Cappuccino." I quickly said and he nodded before leaving me alone. I leaned back on my seat to hear them.

"Dr Dhruv, I heard that your parents are finding a suitable bride for you." She said and I widened my eyes.

What?

She's such a-

How come I wasn't informed about this news?

What if they find one for him?

What about me?

"Hmm." He hummed. Why didn't he deny?

"Oh. Would you like if I treat you to a dinner on coming Saturday? Actually I have a restaurant in my mind, and they have special menu on weekends."

This lady!

I'll kill her.

"Mam, your order."

"Pour it over my head!" I shouted in annoyance and saw everyone turning towards me. Good! I'm gone!

"Natasha?" Samaira exclaimed and I mentally slapped myself. I slid my mask down and faked a smile to them.

"I just came to have coffee. I'll go. Bye bye." I said, waving my hands at Dhruv, trying to gain his attention. Paying my bill, I stomped out and pulled the door of my car.

Sitting inside, I started the car and accelerated the speed till I reached back to hospital.

"Natasha, it's been one hour and forty minutes. Where were you?" Ashima asked and I sighed while sitting on the couch. Even though she took him on a date, it doesn't mean that I'm going to step back.

"I had some personal work."

"Hmm. Now sign on the discharge papers. Let's leave." She said and I nodded. I picked the pen up and quickly signed over the given slot.

I was currently switching over the channels and watching my own dramas, simply because I was annoyed. The first reason being my exhausting late night shooting schedule and second was Samaira. Dhruv is alone with her!

That's it!

She asked him for a coffee. There's nothing wrong if I ask for a date too. I can't lose my chance without trying. Trying is important.

Time was eight thirty in morning.

Which meant there were chances he would be in hospital!

Quickly getting into a pair of jeans and changing my shirt, I locked my house. I walked down the stairs and started my car, speeding it up to reach the hospital as early as possible.

I wore my mask and shades, and barged inside the hospital.

"Miss superstar? You're here? Isn't your treatment over?" Vikas came into my way and asked when I was about to enter Dhruv's room.

"My treatment is over and I'm perfectly fine. I just wanted to meet Dhruv and thank him for taking good care of me." I said and he nodded. "So, can I go now?"

"Ofcourse, nobody is stopping you. Actually, it's strange to see two women running behind my friend who has no interest in anyone."

"The other woman you're talking about is Dr Samaira?"

"Hmm. I'll get going. Wish you luck." He showed me his thumb and I smiled, mumbling a thank you. I opened the door of his room and stepped inside. Seeing those glasses settled on his nose while working, I felt my heart fluttering.

I think I'm in love with glasses!

"Vikas, I'm not here to entertain you. Just go and chat with your patients." He said and raised his head up when he felt the silence in atmosphere. "What... What are you doing here?"

"I just came to thank you for all your care."

"Hmm."

"Would you mind if we go on a dinner tonight?"

"But-"

"Treat is on me." I immediately said but regretted later after seeing a glare in his eyes.

"I'm not free tonight."

"Then tomorrow? Please? Consider it as a thanksgiving." I asked with my signature puppy eyes and he nodded after thinking a lot. "Thank you. Thank you. Thank you." I grinned and walked in his direction to hug him but he showed me his palm, signing me to stop.

Okay!

"Bye." I waved my hand and he barely shook his head. Rude much!
