"Dr Dhruv!"

While I was walking towards my room, I heard someone calling my name. I turned back and saw the same lady who collided with me that day.

"Do you remember me? I'm Samaira." She said and I nodded. "Will you-" She was about to say something but my call interrupted me.

"Excuse me." I said and picked Ayaan's call. "Hello."

"Hello Dhruv. I'm having a party tonight. Would you like to join?"

"No." I answered monosyllably.

"Please man. I promise it would be a 100% non-alcoholic party. I'm really in loss in count of people. I'm requesting you."

"But I have some work to do."

"Work can be done afterwards. Please. If not for me, then your sister." He said and I closed my eyes.

"I'll tell you in a few minutes." I said before cutting the call. Walking towards my room, I sat on my chair and sighed until Vikas barged inside.

"What's the matter?" He asked while sitting on the chair opposite to me.

"Nothing. Divya's husband invited me in a party."

"So go."

"But I need to be present here. What if there's an emergency?"

"Then don't geo."

"But it's my sister's party."

"Then go." He said and I glared. "You can leave your work for a shift. It's not that all patients need you. You need to enjoy your life too."

I nodded and decided to reach there late in evening. I texted him about my answer and continued my work.

Walking inside the party, I checked the surroundings and inspected the drinks to be non-alcoholic as Ayaan told me about using no alcohol in this party.

"Hi!" A girl appeared out of nowhere and said.

"Hello." I said while sipping water. Soft drinks are slow poison.

"Would you like to be my dance partner?"

"I'm sorry."

"If you don't know how to dance, I'll teach you."

"I'm not in mood." I said and walked away from her while hearing her cursing.

"What a jerk! I was just trying to help!" I heard her shouts until I paced out. And due to all the water I drank, I had to use restroom. When I was going inside the washroom, I collided with a lady and had an accidental kiss.

But, it wasn't an actual kiss. Our lips were just pressed lightly.

We both quickly stepped back and I walked inside the washroom. Using it quickly, I washed my hands and dried them.

Why am I feeling so tensed when it wasn't an actual kiss?

It was just an accidental touch.

That's it!

Going towards a secluded area, I sat quietly while going through my phone. But no-one likes my silence. A few ladies were behind me, asking for dance and things like that. Or I can say, they were hitting on me!

And I could do the only thing left. I greeted them by the tag ‘sister’ to shoo them away.

As time went by, most of the guests went back after enjoying. I was about to go after eating but Divya stopped me, again.

There were six homosapiens in the house, including me.

I, Divya, Ayaan, Ayaan's friend, Divya's colleague, and the lady I had an accidental kiss with were the only population left in the house.

Sitting on a mat in the lawn, everyone started playing Truth and Dare.

"Losers will drink this." Ayaan said pointing towards the shot glasses.

"You promised that this party won't contain alcohol." Divya said. Ofcourse, he promised that.

"Why? Can't your tolerate alcohol?" He asked her back.

"I can mister. But this is the violation of rule." She said.

"This isn't. These are lemon shots which means zero percent alcohol." He said and I sighed.

Thank God it's just lemon shots!

Ayaan spinned the bottle whose head stopped infront of Ayaan's friend and back infront of the lady I kissed accidentally.

Wait a minute!

‘The lady I kissed accidentally’ is not a name.

And it doesn't even sound good.

"Who was your girlfriend yesterday?" She asked him.

"What? What are you saying Natasha? Girlfriend... yesterday?" He asked with surprise.

Okay, so her name is Natasha...

"Yes. You don't have to hide anything. Everyone knows you're such a Casanova." She said and he glared.

"You... I'm single from past two months." He said and Ayaan started giggling. Why is everyone so weird here?

"I know you're always single bro, but your one night-" Natasha was about to say something but he glared and interrupted in between.

"Be quite. What are your saying?" Ayaan's friend shouted at Natasha and turned his gaze towards Divya's colleague, smiling at her.

He was hitting on Divya's colleague.

"I think I should go back. You all family can enjoy." Divya's colleague said.

"No you can't." Ayaan's friend said, looking at her. "I mean you're also a family member now." He said and Natasha hooted.

Natasha spinned the bottle and it's head stopped infront of me. Why me?

"So Dhruv, who was your first love?" Ayaan asked and I sighed. What do they want to do with my personal life? I took a shot and closed my eyes.

Lemon is good for health!

There's nothing wrong in drinking the sour drink.

I spinned the bottle and the game went on. After some time everyone was bored by this game.

"Let's play another game. Everyone will say a statement one by one. The one who has their answer as no will drink a shot. And the ones who don't want to disclose anything will take two shots. What say?" Natasha said and everyone answered in yes.

"Then first I'll ask." Ayaan's friend Shrey declared, "Everyone here is not a virgin, right." He asked and I forwarded my hand to pick two shots.

I was not in mood disclose anything.

I was accompanied by Natasha and Divya's colleague. While Ayaan and Divya picked one glass respectively.

Does that mean that they're virgins?

Really?

Aren't they married with their will? They love each other.

It's been ten days they're since their wedding...

"Guys! This game is also getting boring. Don't you have any good game." Shrey whined and everyone shook their heads in no. "Then let's get back to our homes."

"Yes. He's right. We should get back. It's late." I said and everyone nodded.

"You all can stay here. It's late." Divya said.

"No. It's alright. I have some work to do tomorrow. I have to go back." I said and everyone agreed. I started my car and went back to home. If there's any emergency in hospital, staff could inform me.

"Dhruv." Vikas called me for the hundredth time while I was checking my patients' condition.

"What?"

"A patient is head over heels for me. What should I do?"

"What do you want me to tell you? It's your life, do whatever you want to."

"If it was a lady, situation would've been different. A male patient is behind me." He said and I chuckled mentally.

"All thanks to your amazing aura. Even men can't resist you."

"You're teasing me? You know that I'm straight and not interested in men. What should I even do?"

"Tell him that you have no interest in males."

"I don't know if I could. I'm really doomed."

"Check beforehand if he's having any STDs. I really don't want you to die this early because of AIDS." I said and he glared.

"Dhruv!!" He yelled and I mentally chuckled while walking out of the patient's room.

"There's an emergency!" The staff shouted and we ran out. Accidents at night is common.

We came across the patient, and strangely it was Natasha, the lady whom I kissed accidentally last night.

Oh, just shut up, you silly brain!

She was unconscious and her arms were badly injured. Taking her to the OT, we stitched the major cuts and took a scan of her bones.

Bones of her left hand's ring finger were broken!
