"The first time I saw you, I knew that you took my heart away. And this heart is yours. Will you marry me?" Kartik said and everyone hooted.

What the fuck?

That's why Vidushi said that Ashima is angry.

"What are you-" I was about to say something but he moved closer to me.

"Please don't say no. Media is here." He whispered and I looked at him with disbelief.

"I never told you to invite media here." I said and gazed at my surroundings. Looking back at him, I loudly said, "I'm sorry but I need to focus on my career for now. Hope you understand it." I said and left out, wearing my brown shades.

"So Divya. I want each and every information. When did you fell in love with your husband and married him?" I asked. Every other love story is different and entertaining to hear.

We both were out for a coffee and ofcourse for discussing various stuff. I had to wear mask, glasses and what not to hide myself from the paparazzi.

"Well, it's a long story. What would you do after listening that story?"

"I just want to know. I'm your best friend and also your batchmate." I clarified adjusting my glasses onto my nose.

"You are my batchmate? You're an actor and I'm a CA." She said and I rolled my eyes.

"I mean I just dropped out from the course. That doesn't mean I was not your batchmate." I took my shades and mask out, and said.

Studies were a bit hard for me. Especially CA course.

And I never wanted to follow my family's trend by becoming a doctor.

I can't stand the sight of injections and blood.

"You know I tried the CA course but it was a little too hard for me. You should understand my feeling too." I said the last line with puppy eyes.

Well, puppy eyes and acting cute when we want something is my family right. It runs in my veins.

"I know, I know. Well Natasha, I never thought that you would get in this stream, I mean it's just a surprise for everyone. How did you get a thought about acting?" She asked.

"You know I couldn't get my focus on studies those days, so I dropped out. And then, one day there was an audition. I went there and my luck came really good. And see, where I am now! India's beauty. You should be euphoric to see me and talk to me personally. People die to meet me." I winked and she frowned.

"If people die, then how do they meet you? After becoming a ghost?"

"Ghost? Why would I meet ghosts? Wait, you're fabulous in changing the topic. Now tell me how you both met." I said, "And with full explanation."

And then she told me that they both were classmates, but each other's enemies. They wanted to get rid of each other's presence.

Then they both lost their contact.

When they met each other after a decade in office, they both fell in love.

But wait, why does it sound so strange.

And cliche!

"So cool. It would be a great storyline for shooting. Your story is really great." I said. "Divya...." I called her in a low voice while he hummed, sipping her Mocha. "You're so lucky that you got a guy. See me." I fake cried and she narrowed her eyes.

She's married and I'm still single!

"You know, when we were in the end of our teenage, I got a dozen of proposals and you were single, and studied in all of your time. I was sure that I would marry earlier than you. But now, what's happening? I'm still single!" I ranted.

"But you're a star. Every guy would be willing to marry you, then why are you still single?"

"Why am I still single? What do you think? Will I marry everyone who likes me? For God's sake, I'm a star! I won't marry a no-one. I want someone who's as good as I am. I'm Natasha, Natasha Mehta!"

"Okay miss star. Then wait for you Mr Right. One day he would definitely enter your world." She said, mentally consoling me.

"Opppppaaaaaa... When will I meet you?"

"Who's oppa?" She asked.

"Oppa. Well, you should watch some k-dramas. Then you'll know what it means." I said and she rolled her eyes.

"Let me take you somewhere." I held her hands and pulled her out of the cafe, not before paying the bill. After a long ride we reached the place.

A mysterious dark-glowing place.

"Come fast." I dragged her inside the dark room, sliding the curtains in the path. It was a dim lighted place with lots of Halloween stuff.

Divya turned back and shouted on top of her lungs after seeing a man with scary face.

"Divya, calm down." I said. The man backed two steps and went to sit on a chair behind a table covered with bright florescent cloth.

"What's going on women?" The man asked.

"Aa-aah. It's nothing. We actually came to meet you. I've heard a lot about you, can you please enlighten me about my love life in future." I asked.

He strangely studied our faces and nodded his head. I quickly sat on one of the chairs and dragged Divya to sit beside me. The man asked for my hand and I gave it non-hesitantly.

"I'm not a pervert." The man said looking while towards my hand.

What the hell was he saying?

Maybe, he's gone mad after staying in this dark place.

"You are single from the time your were born. But you were always an eye candy for boys. They tried to date you but you always denied their wishes. You are rumoured to be dating a lot of men but the reality is quite different and you know it too." He said confidently while studying my hand and left it.

How does he...

"Ohh God!! You're really a genius. Please tell me about my future and my love life." I grinned and asked.

He took out some cards from the side drawer and started shuffling them. Then he placed the cards on the table and asked me to choose three of them.

I quickly chose three from the deck and gave them to him.

"According to this you're very serious about your career and that's what makes you successful in it, but leaned back in love life." He said after looking at the first card and I nodded.

This is absolutely true!

"This card shows that you're going to meet the one soon. But, this won't be easy. He won't be into you but you'll instantly know that he's the one. He would have that aura." He said looking at the second card.

Really? I want to meet him as soon as possible.

"How much soon?" I asked.

"Why are you being so crazy girl? You'll meet him soon and that's what I can say." He shouted and I frowned.

"But you can atleast tell the timeline."

"One week." He replied being irritated and I smiled. "From this third card I can say that it's not going to be easy girl. You have to struggle hard in order to get him. But in the end your hardwork will pay you well. Just don't lose hope and run after your to-be man."

Which means, in the end I'll win and get the man.

"Thanks for the information." I smiled and looked towards Divya with a thin smile on my face. Through her eye motion she asked 'what' and I just closed my eyes, confirming that everything is safe.

"She too." I informed that man.

"What? I don't want to be." She quickly said.

"I know that deep in your heart, you want to know about your future with your husband." I said and he started putting the cards inverted on the table. He asked her to choose three of them and then he started.

"You're a terrible liar. You're lying about something only you know. Your should try to speak the truth." He said and after looking at her, he continued watching the three cards.

What is she lying about?

"The love of your life is near you yet you can't feel it. He's trying to get your attention but you don't give a damn to him. He's clearly near you all the time but you are not sensing it." He said and averted his gaze to Divya's eyes. Divya quickly lowered her eyes, clearly proving that he's right.

But what is she lying about?

And didn't she love her husband? Isn't he the love of her life?

"Try to accept your love towards him instead of running away. You like him but can't accept it due to personal ego. Best of luck!" He said and we moved out, not before paying a long bill.

"What's going on? Lying, having an admirer and you like him too? Are you having an extramarital affair?" I shouted the last line. She held my mouth with her hands, trying to stop my shouts.

"I think I have to tell you the truth." She said seriously and I nodded curiously.

And then she explained me the real truth.

They both were enemies in childhood and it was true.

But everything she told about the love in office was a lie. She told me how he rented her to help him in his blind date. And that led to their marriage.

That's a crazy love story!

"Oh my!! You're really good in hiding things." I exclaimed.

"I know but I didn't want drag anyone in this nonsense story. You know that our families were really happy for this arrangement and that was the first time I saw them this happy. I couldn't help but hide the truth. And yeah, we're really not in any kind of love. So, from now on don't ask me any question regarding our relationship progress." She confessed and I nodded.

"What do you want?" I asked.

"You." He said and I smiled.

"Oh really?" I asked and he hummed. "But don't you think it's wrong? What if your wife comes back and sees us."

"She won't. I have my ways." He said and neared to me. He was about to kiss me but couldn't as I kicked him hard in his groin. "What the-"

"You're under arrest. Stop your tactics and think before attempting a crime."

"How could you-"

"I can do anything." I smiled.

"Cut!" I heard and saw Vidushi running towards me. Handing me a bottle of water, she pulled my phone out of her purse.

"You have a call." She informed and I took it immediately. I checked the history and saw Divya calling me. I called her back and she picked it immediately. "Divya, you called me?"

"Yes. I need to invite you in a party."

"Party? When?"

"Tonight. Ayaan arranged a party for God knows what and asked me to invite people from my side."

"Okay, I'll be there." I said before cutting the call and resumed the shoot.
