A little insight into the future....

Hey guys!

I know it's been a while. Almost two years to be specific.

I saw a comment that said: she finished this in 2016 and it's almost 2018 so I don't think there's going to be another chapter and I just thought: challenge accepted.

I originally planned on writing a sequel, to be published almost immediately after this book was done. And I wrote a good 16 chapters. And then I got tired of it. So it was never uploaded.

It was supposed to be set fifteen years in the future and based on Rosie. Yes, Levi's little sister Rosie who would be eighteen. It was supposed to be full of ups and downs and full of Levi and Juliette but I just didn't know how to incorporate everything into one.

I was doing pretty well. And then I got lost in what my original aim was.

So I gave up.

I am writing a book right now, and it is very different to this one but I think it's great and I'm really enjoying writing it. It's more within my comfort zone, which is why 1. I love writing it and 2. It's so much better than this one. But because it's so personal, I don't know if I'd ever want it on Wattpad.

Comment here if you'd be willing to read it / want to know briefly what it's about.

Anyway, the whole point of this was to give you a little insight into Levi and Juliette's future because the cliffhanger was (and I admit) cruel. So here it is:

I awoke from my sleep early the next morning, still not excited at all for school, but less reluctant than I was the day before. I was still extremely sleepy, as usual, as I pretty much had to drag myself of the bed. Pulling my hair into a quick messy ponytail, the first thing I did was head for the bathroom.

When I got near the bathroom door however, I did hear something that I would never usually hear. Faint sounds of retching could be heard through the door as I began worrying slightly.

Quickly heading for all three occupied bedrooms, I realised that Ruby was fast asleep; Ariana and Levi were also completely asleep, Levi's arm wrapped protectively over her as her innocent face was buried in his chest.

That only left Juliette.

Heading back to the bathroom, I carefully knocked on the door. "Juliette" I called, "are you okay?"

I wasn't given a response, instead I heard the tap go on, and not too soon after the door opened. Juliette stood by the door in her pyjamas, with her hair in a messy bun.

"Are you sick?" I asked in a concerned tone as she shrugged.

"I'm guessing I got food poisoning from the airplane food" she shrugged, although with Juliette it was pretty easy to see through her lies.

Nodding, despite being unconvinced, my eyes landed on a small white rectangular device on the bathroom countertop.

"I'm pretty sure pregnancy tests don't determine food poisoning" I said quietly as her shoulders slumped, sighing quietly. "Are you pregnant?" I questioned hesitantly.

She immediately held a finger to her lips, signalling for me to quieten down. Once I did, she responded with a curt nod.

"That's amazing" I said excitedly, "how many weeks? Levi will be so happy!" I was beaming in delight at the thought of having another nephew or niece. Imagining Levi's face when he found out about the baby. This time I could actually watch the baby grow up, I could be an aunt that's actually there.

"I don't know, I just took the test, but I'm assuming it's around two or three weeks. You won't tell him will you?" She asked, and this time I took a proper look at her facial features. She looked tired, almost exhausted, and not from the plane journey. She seemed as if she were worried, or stressed out, and quite clearly about her pregnancy.

"Of course I won't, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't. Why don't you want him to find out?" I asked her quietly, making sure that nobody was hearing the conversation.

"I-I just" she stuttered before sighing, "I don't know if he wants another baby. He just got a job here, and I'm not even working, I don't know if we can support another person in the family" she said, and she seemed genuinely dejected. "Plus with your mom's recent passing I don't think we're in the right position to raise a baby"

I shook my head, still grinning in happiness. "Juliette listen to me. It's not just you and Levi anymore, we're all here. I'm working, Ruby's working, Levi's working. Your baby will be spoiled. Plus, you've known Levi for fifteen years now. You know he would be thrilled to find out your pregnant." I encouraged, as her frown softened slightly. "You need to stop worrying. It's bad for the baby" I warned.

She inhaled deeply before closing her eyes and exhaling. "You're right" she nodded as I smiled again.

"Levi can't really say much about you being pregnant, it's not like he's completely innocent in the situation. If he didn't want you to get pregnant, he should've wrapped up," I reminded bluntly as her cheeks darkened immediately. "What?" I questioned. "You know it's true" I smirked as she rolled her eyes.

"You're too blunt and you're getting late for school" she warned as I laughed.

"Yes mother" I chided. "Also remember, now that I know about your situation, I'm not going to let you do any heavy work at all" I grinned cheekily as she laughed.

"Yes mother" she mimicked.

"Stay protected next time," I teased as I descended the stairs.

"Rosie Knight I'm going to strangle you if you don't keep your voice down," she called behind me as I laughed.
