"Can you please tell her that her idea is insane?!" Zayn turned to Lara.

"Hey. Happy wife, happy life." She shrugged and drank the rest of the wine. "You need more wine." Lara waved the empty bottle at him.

Zayn walked up to her and snatched the empty bottle as he glared. Lara merely smirked and brushed past him to flop onto the couch.

"This is by far the stupidest idea you've ever had." Jade deadpanned.

"So will you help me?" I gave them a teasing smile.

"Can you look us in the eye and tell us you believe she's innocent?" Jade asked.

I ignored her question and walked up to her. We stayed silent as we intently stared at the other.

"She's innocent." I spoke. "And I need your help to prove she's innocent."

"I don't like you." Jade turned to my wife.

"Feeling's mutual, love." Lara taunted.

"Okay, how can we help?" Zayn inquired.

"I need access to the record room at Interpol. They like to keep physical documents to avoid people hacking into their database." I approached Zayn and his computer. "I need the layout of the building to know where to target."

"Someone's done their research." Lara teased, making me smirk.

"Zayn, can you pull up the blueprints?" Zayn nodded and typed away on his computer.

Jade and I crowded Zayn as he hacked into the public records to find the building's design. I peered at the design as Jade pointed out where cameras would traditionally be placed. Zayn then hacked into a person's phone to route them into the system. We were then able to get an idea of the security's schedule and when they go on shifts.

"Memorized it?" Jade turned to me.

"Yes, I've memorized half." They both sighed at me. "That's because this isn't the full map." I rolled my eyes while they were confused. "Look at where that door is connected to... it cuts off. There's more that's not in the public records."

"Shit! You're right." Zayn leaned closer to his computer. "What are you going to do?"

"Go in there half blind." I smirked while my friends facepalmed. "I'll be fine. I always am. Thanks." I gave them hugs and motioned for Lara to come.

"Be careful." Jade spoke. "And protect her." She glared at Lara.

"I wouldn't hesitate." Lara seriously spoke before exiting the house.

"Mia, please be careful. They've updated your capture." Zayn sighed and turned his screen for me to see. "It's now either alive or dead."

"All the more fun." I chuckled and gave them mock salutes while they groaned. "See you guys soon."

"It won't be soon enough." Jade smirked and hugged me once more. "Prove her innocence." She whispered.

I smiled and bid them goodbye once more. I jogged outside to see Lara leaning against a parked car. I bit the inside of my cheek before shaking my head. Lara was confused why I wasn't breaking into a car. I told her that we couldn't do that near Zayn's apartment since the agents would then realize that he was helping us. I couldn't get my friends in trouble and have their blood on my hands. Lara commented that Jade's blood would be rather decorative. I shoved her and had her follow me.

We avoided the cameras and hopped on a train to Poland. Lara gave me a soft smile, resulting in me squeezing her hand. I then rested my head on her shoulder and closed my eyes to sleep.

Lara shook me when we arrived in Warsaw. I rubbed my eyes and gave her a determined look. It was even more important now that we be careful since agents would be crawling around the city since we were near the HQ. Lara obediently followed my instructions and mimicked my actions with avoiding cameras and blending in with the crowd.

We eventually got to a parking lot, where I broke into a car. I drove along the streets and neared the HQ. Thankfully, there was traffic, so I was able to slowly drive by while counting the number of guards and seeing any weak spots in the design. I then completely passed the building and drove to the outskirts of the city.

"Where are we going?" Lara asked.

"To get some supplies." I replied.

I pulled into a small apartment complex. It was like these homes never recovered from WWII. I parked and had Lara follow me to the door. I did the secret knock and waited a few moments. The door slowly opened to reveal a middle aged man. When he saw us, he quickly tried to shut the door, but I was faster. I kicked him and the door back. He landed with a thud and I sped to him. I wrapped my hands around his neck and choked him until he passed out. Lara closed the door as I dragged the man to a couch.

"Love the interior." Lara sarcastically spoke as she looked around.

"I'd normally go to a storefront that sells watches to the public and has an armory in the back." I grunted and tossed him on the couch. "But there's basically an APB out for me, so most of them would turn me in for the reward. This guy here houses illegal arms, but would've called the agency." I looked down at him. "It's one of the many arm houses around the world. Let's just hope we're faster than other agents who need access to guns." I walked to a secret room and found the button.

"Anyone loyal to you?" Lara asked as the door opened.

"Yes, but not here. I have two. One in England and the other in Portugal." I walked inside the massive room.

The walls were lined with guns. There were many glass containers in the center that housed grenades, knives, ammunition, and so much more. I was practically in heaven. I found the different gun holsters and fastened them to me. I placed two on my hips. Then, I applied the one around my armpits. I also placed the girdle type ones around my thighs. Lara was clearly turned on as she watched me suit up. I rolled my eyes and picked my favorite guns. I made sure to test them to make sure there wasn't any jamming and a quick firing time.

I picked up the little technology devices since I could use them later. I packed a rifle in a suitcase and some wire. I also took a few grenades and tucked them in my utility belt, along with some bullets. I found a black trench coat and placed it over my outfit. I then signaled for us to leave. Lara picked up the bag and followed me to the car. I looked around to make sure no one spotted us. I then drove to a parking lot.

"When's go time?" Lara turned to me.

I looked at my watch before giving her an answer. I then peered at the dark sky once more.

"It's dark, but we want to wait for the early hour. Like 2am. Just a few more hours." Lara nodded at me while I intently stared at the building. "This'll be fun." I smirked.

When it was finally time to go, we both got out. Lara was about to follow me, but I stepped in her way. She gave me a confused look while I chuckled.

"I'm going in there alone, babe."

"Wha-"

"Stay with the car. I'll need a getaway driver on standby. Plus, this was my job. I know what to do and I'll be fine. I promise." I kissed her before she had a chance to retort. "Now be a good obedient wife and stay in the car." I teased while she rolled her eyes. "I'll be back in..." I looked at my watch. "Give me 20 minutes and if I'm not back, then you can start to panic." Lara groaned, causing me to kiss her once more.

Lara reluctantly got in the car while I went to the trunk. I pulled out the duffle bag and unzipped it to reveal the rifle. I positioned it on the bonnet and aimed it at the roof of a nearby building. I fired the wire rope at the building and smiled as it firmly embedded into the side. I placed the rifle on my back and put a pair of high tech gloves on. I then held the rope and slid to the building.

I repeated the action until I was in firing range of the Interpol building. I aimed the gun at a soldier on duty. I watched him leave and another replace him. I noticed another soldier leaving, so I timed how long it took him to leave and another soldier to replace him. It took 25 seconds. I moved to another corner of the building and waited until the soldier changed his shift. The moment he walked away, I fired the gun and watched the wire rope lodge into the ground. I wasted no time sliding down the rope. I rolled onto the ground and immediately detached the wire rope from the ground, so that it could retract back. I then dove behind a bush as the security took his new post.

I smirked and carefully approached the building. I avoided the cameras and any windows. When I got to the side, I made sure the guard's backs were to me as I placed my gloved hands on the wall. The LED lights lit up and I knew it was working. I then slowly began to climb the wall. When I was halfway up the 15 story building, I moved towards the back of the building. I looked inside and noticed that most lights were off. I then removed a gadget from my belt and made a massive circle on the window.

I smirked as the drawing singed. I then placed my gloved hand in the middle and slowly pushed inwards. The circle lowered onto the ground. I then went inside the building and removed my gloves. I was on high alert as I packed my supplies away. I then removed two guns and held them behind my back as I walked through the building. I appeared nonchalant as I passed a few employees. We gave each other nods as we passed. I guess only high ranking employees or agents after me know my face.

With my memory, I remembered the point I entered the building and aligned it with the map Jade and Zayn showed me. I quickly regained my bearings as I walked in the direction of the records room. I knew it was on the 9th floor based on the blueprints. I easily deduced that the record's room was the one guarded by 5 people.

I looked to see a camera positioned in that direction. I turned a corner and pulled out my phone. I hacked into their system and disabled the camera. I'll have 15 seconds before the camera is back online. Simple.

I disabled the camera and turned the corner. The guards looked momentarily confused before lifting their weapons, but I was faster. I shot them down and swiftly moved to the door. I opened it and pulled the dead bodies inside. I then shut the door with only 3 seconds to go. I quickly shifted the video feed to replay the guards just standing there.

My eyes widened at the library of records before me. Damn, that's a lot of records. I quickly sorted through the dates and found a few interesting files. Upon closer inspections, I tossed away the ones that didn't concern me. I then stopped when I read Cobalt Enterprise. I then read through the interview and understood that he was working with a hacker. He didn't know the person's name or face, but only worked through the dark web. I didn't see anything of substance. It seemed that he didn't know too much. He had no idea who hired him. Just that he was to make sure the numbers were correct before sending the file to the hacker, who'd then deliver the money to certain accounts. The accountant's name was Hakeem Salah and he lived in Egypt.

I was about to put the record back, but the name of the interviewer caught my attention... Julian. Who is this Julian? He's an enigma and I'd love to have an edge over him. I spotted an old computer in the corner and approached it. It wanted a login and password, but I used my phone to bypass that. I then typed away and brought up Julian's records and anything on the man.

He used to be a field agent until he got shot in the leg, hampering the full functionality of his joints. He was then reassigned to desk work and was one hell of a detective. He found connections where no one else could. He was also a top notch interviewer and was skillful in getting people to subconsciously admit to crimes or reveal locations. My brows furrowed over a police report that a woman filed about the kidnapping of their daughter. The records showed a different last name for the wife and that made me realize they're divorced.

More digging later and I found that their daughter is 16. She was taken in Spain while on vacation with some friends. The entire group was taken with no witnesses or clues. It was a clean kidnapping. She was taken almost a year ago. Julian then requested to be put on the case for missing girls since he suspected his daughter was taken by the same group. I'll admit that he's right about the same group since she was taken in a similar fashion to the other victims.

My eyes then bulged when I read his statement regarding Lara. He actually doesn't think she has any involvement. His superiors and colleagues, on the other hand... according to Julian, he doubts Lara had any involvement due to the recent attacks that she helped diffuse and her recent seat on the throne. To him, she wouldn't have any time to organize such a thing. He said that if anyone, it'd be Alec, but he doesn't think Alec is behind it either. Julian suspects that she's being framed, but no one wanted to hear it.

I then found an audio recording and played it. I'm guessing this is the woman in charge of the whole operation. She doesn't give a damn if Lara is the one behind it or not. She's stated that Lara has done a lot of illegal activities and they've been trying to charge her for centuries, so if this is what takes her down... then, so be it.

I heard a creak, so I glanced up to see a horrified office worker. She looked at me, making me tilt my head. She then screamed and ran, forcing me to shoot her in the leg. The woman crumbled to the ground and screamed even louder. Well, I should've accounted for that. I swiftly approached the prettified woman and kneeled let next to her. I ripped her shirt and tied it around the wound on her leg. I could hear shouts and hurried footsteps.

"Apply pressure." I tightened the knot. "Don't worry. It was a clean entry and exit shot. No shrapnel in your body." I nodded before swiftly exiting the room.

I walked down the halls, with my head slightly lowered as guards ran past me. I looked over my shoulder to see them flood the record room. I turned the corner and entered a restricted area. The guards immediately reached for their guns, but I shot them dead. I then walked to the exit and scurried down the stairs. Some guards ran by me as I kept my head lowered.

I then walked into a room and then quickly turned as security recognized me. I dodged their shots before firing my own. The secretaries screamed as they ran out the room. I stood and fired three shots at the three security personnel, making them drop. I then tossed my empty barrel and reloaded before descending another set of spiral stairs.

I found a room swarming with security, so I removed the pin from a grenade and tossed it at them. They screamed before the explosion went off. I used the smoke to obscure me as I walked through the room. I turned the corner and shot more people. I swiftly walked through the halls as I reloaded and shot more people. I made sure to avoid shooting the regular employees. The agents received many shots to their heads since they kinda pissed me off.

I rounded a corner and found Julian with his gun raised. We were at a stand-off since I could hear shouts in the background. Julian's eyes narrowed as he glared at me. I heard another set of footsteps swiftly approaching, so I pointed another gun in the direction of Matt. Matt slowly advanced with his gun raised. The three of us slowly turned while aiming our guns.

"Stop, Mia." Matt warned.

"We just want to question you." Julian spoke.

"No." I smirked before shooting Matt in his knee cap.

Matt grunted and dropped his gun while falling to the ground. Julian shot at me, but I dodged the bullet. He fired another shot, but I fired a bullet that collided with his bullet. I then raced to him and knocked his gun from his hand. We engaged in hand to hand combat and I was able to sweep his leg. Matt tried to get up, but I shot his other kneecap. Matt grunted while I smirked since payback's a bitch, bitch!

I ran down the halls and threw my belt at the personnel running towards me. I shot at it, causing a massive explosion from the grenades exploding. I pushed open a side door and shielded myself from the fire gas cloud. I lowered myself to the ground and crawled down the stairs. People were scurrying around in a panic from the explosion.

I made it to the lobby and saw officers shouting directions at people. I managed to slip past them and make my way towards the other side of the room. I approached a desk to see a woman casually leaning against. My eyes then widened as I spotted the receptionist, even though there was a massive panic going on, enamored with the woman in front of her.

"Let's go!" I pulled Lara with me.

"Where to?" She quickly followed behind me.

"I need a car."
