Flabergasted is how I feel right now. We just sat through and went over years worth of the things Dason done and now we just wait for the jury to come to a verdict.

It also makes me mad because it felt like how we went through emotional wise and how it affects us now especially being so soon after is just all thrown out the door. Yes, I know it is to make sure he at least never gets out of prison but still this was so much different than how you see it done on tv.

Molly and Bethany both have a hand each of mine, since I have been in the middle of them since we got here. We slowly stand and walk out the door, but not before watching with our own eyes that Dason is back through his door and in holding.

"How are we just supposed to wait?" Molly shakes some.

"I am hoping they come to a conclusion soon. It shouldn't take long with everything that got laid out on a platter." Bethany speaks softly.

"We just have to stay together and we can get through this." I try to just keep repeating good things through my head all day and say it to them.

Molly and Bethany nod silently agreeing.

"Precious." Zack's deep voice helps me to calm farther, as I turn to him.

Zack wraps his arms around me and I take in a deep breath against his chest. I am safe in his arms.

"Let's get out of here for now." He whispers to the three of us.

I nod and turn to see Brit holding Bethany in his arms. It helps me to smile even more, because she needs someone too and it's how I found Zack so why not for her too.

The five of us walk out of the court house and breath in the fresh air. Off in the distance the sun is already starting to set, but I am not tired in the least as everything is still so fresh too.

"Why don't we go by and get Chas? Then we can all go get something to eat. I want to make sure you all three eat. Would you like to join us Molly, please?" Zack's voice keeps being gentle and unlike the stern harshness he gave to the lawyer earlier.

Molly nods. "If you insist."

"I do." Zack nods and Brit joins in.

Zack calls Chasity and in no time she is meeting us at the cars. It worked out nice since it is the time she was closing the salon down.

We walk down the sidewalk and into a diner that is open all the time. It is less crowded with the time of day, it seems like people prefer to eat something different tonight. Which suites me fine because after today I am still a little jumpy and honestly prefer not to be in an overly crowded place.

A waitress comes over and takes us to a large table for the six of us to eat. Molly takes the chair next to me while Bethany sits beside her. Zack sits in front of me and then Chasity and Brit. Not the way I thought we would sit but everyone is comfortable at least.

"Are you guys okay?" Chasity asks lightly.

"Yeah, it stirred some different emotions through us all. I just want him to never be on the outside again." Bethany answers.

Chasity tries to give a smile but it turns into a grimace.

"How was the salon today?" I try to go a different route.

"It was light but there was a couple of walk ins. Then one that didn't answer or get the voicemail about rescheduling, so I done that color and highlight."

"Thank you. I'm so happy that everyone in town knows and has been so understanding with our crazy hours. Hopefully, we will be back on track soon and normalize out again."

"Hair salon?" Molly pipes up with more energy than she has all day that is not fear.

"Yes, I own Hair Expressions." I smile looking at her.

She still seems so familiar.

"That is so cool! I am a hair dresser too. Have been since I got out of high school."

"Same here for the three of us." I laugh some. "I got my license and ended up moving here after packing up and just driving until it felt right."

"It is weird I done the same, but my car actually broke down. Waiting around for it to be fixed, I needed a job and there was an older lady that hired me on to where I could work and I slept at her house until I could get on my feet. From there I fell in love living here until."

We all fall into a small silence.

"I actually bought the salon from an older lady." I try once more with bringing the conversation back, because the silence is deafening and I will go to deep in my own thoughts.

"Are you happy where you live now?" Zack asks.

"Not really it doesn't feel like home, like this town use too." Molly sighs.

"Do you think if he stays locked up at the least you could live here again with it feeling like home?" Bethany asks, as our food arrives.

"I would like too." Molly slowly nods.

"Well, if you do come see me we can get you added on at my salon. All I would like to see is a portfolio of your works. It helps for clients to see it with new people being in and starts that trust base."

"Are you serious?" Molly looks at me wide eyes.

"Very. We have gotten so busy it's why I hired Chasity on and that was the best decision and we are still swamped just about all the time. I have thought about doing group hair styling too for events, it would open us up to even more."

"Thank you so much! It is sad that I keep everything in my car and could move back like now, if we had a verdict already." Molly frowns.

"You done that because you never felt safe, but you will be now." Brit speaks up, as Bethany smiles at him along with everyone else.

Molly sheds a few tears and we all hug once more before eating our meals. The food is good, but I wish I could enjoy it more. Right now the pork chop does nothing for my taste buds sadly, as my mind darts everywhere when I have tried to keep it quiet with other conversations.

Zack moves to touch my hand and lightly brushes his thumb over my skin and it helps to soothe me better. He always seems to know when I need that extra touch and I couldn't love him more.

A/N---
Hey Hey Guys!!!

Is it good to see everyone at dinner and being Molly in?

What will the verdict be? Can we hope it comes in quickly
