"I'm nervous, Bubba," Kash sighed, leaning on her brother's shoulder. She had asked him if she could come over because she really did miss him, but he decided to come to their dad's house for whatever reason.

"It's gon be aight," he told her. "His grandparents hella nice, every time I visit they treat me good, so of course they gon treat you good, you his girlfriend," he said in a duh tone. "He'on really care what everybody else gon say,"

"I know but...I do, Khy. I can't tell him that obviously but like, I want them to like me. I wanna make a good impression, I don't want them to think I'm gonna do him any wrongs," she explained. "And you seen Crazy Rich Asians! If they hate me they could plot on my downfall and then I would go to jail for beating they ass," she said seriously—and Khy laughed.

"Crazy Rich Asians is a movie, Brat. They not gon do that to you and if they don't like you fuck them," he curled his lip up. "I'm dead ass too, fuck em. Don't let them people take you out yo' character," he said, knowing exactly how Kash could get.

Like him, and their father, her temper flared quickly. It took a little bit of prodding before Kash was liable to blow up and either yell, cry, or start swinging. When she was younger, it was a combination of the three—until she learned she could have her brother start swinging for her then she just started verbally abusing people.

"I won't. I'm just saying, as much as he says he doesn't care, a nagging opinion will start to effect you whether you like it or not and I'll be damned if somebody try to take mine away from me cuz they'on like me," she sighed.

"And I'm telling you now that's not gon happen. You know that nigga worship the ground you walk on," he teased and a smile broke on her face. "And I know you ain't seen it yet, but that nigga on ten is not something anybody wants so I'm sure his family not gon go out they way to piss him off," he pointed out.

"I hope not," she agreed. "Anyway! How are you Bubs? I miss you!"

"I miss you too," he chuckled. "I'm aight," he shrugged.

"Are you sure? You don't sound alright, Khyren," she pouted. "You can talk to me, you know that right?"

"I know, Fat fat. I just...I'on wanna talk about it, you know? I came over to get away from the shit, I'on wanna bring it over here," he said. Hesitantly, she nodded and he appreciated it. What was going with him and Ava was draining enough as it is without him constantly having to recant it to his friends, let alone his little sister.

"Well, how's work been?" she wondered.

"Straight, Mr. Frank getting old man, he wanna retired I'on know what the hell we gon do when he do. Hopefully he decides to leave the garage open, I learned everything from there, I'd hate to see it go down,"

"I'm sure he'd keep it! There's so many of y'all counting on that paycheck, and the people in our area only go to Mr. Frank, he can't leave us hanging," she joked. "Y'all gon ask him about it?"

"Yeah, probably next week," he nodded. "Where's dad, though? Nigga ain't never here,"

"He's at the shop, Prince apparently brought some rapper nigga over there, he wouldn't tell me who, so now we beefing. What if it was Toosii?!" she threw her hands up.

"You want yo boyfriend to bodyslam yo ass?" he chuckled. "He will fuck Toosii and you up, and I'on think I can save you,"

"You know what...you're right," she chuckled and he just laughed. "You need to come over more dad is always working and I be by myself when Siah not here,"

"I gotchu. You gon see me more often, I promise," he stuck his pinky out and she smiled locking hers with his.

"Nah, he's crazy," Aryn giggled as the girls sat around Kash's living room. They decided to have a little girls night before Kash left for the next four days. Currently, they we're having quite the risqué conversation. "He lasts way longer than my ass I cannot keep up,"

"Ms. Big Ol Freak herself?! You really met your match with this one chile," Kash teased.

"Man what! He be having me tap like a bitch!" she laughed. "He's a demon,"

"I truly understand what that means now. I know you used to tell me all the time I was missing out but shit. I was being neglected! This one here," she chuckled, thinking about Siah "He's something different,"

"Not Kash money getting turned out," Vaeh laughed. She had been doing better lately, Kash and Aryn tried to spend as much time as they could with her to keep her mind occupied.

"It's bad," she whined. "I have never and I mean never ever gone out my way to ask for sex, this nigga got me saying please and shit," she joked and the girls laughed. "Ooh but I have a question," she said, and the girls gave her their attention. "What do yall be calling them in bed? I feel like baby don't cut it,"

"Uh...daddy girl," Aryn said as if it was the most obvious answer in the world. "It just adds a lil, I'on know, something. They love being called zaddy," she said exaggeratedly, making the girls laugh.

"I agree, it sounds like it'd be awkward since, you know, your dad and allat but the shit hits different," Vaeh pointed out. "Your dad doesn't even cross your mind I can promise you that. It's like when your mom calls you baby and then your boyfriend calls you baby, the context does matter," she chuckled.

"I honestly thought about that. But, I guess because my ex hated it I just...kinda left that where it was, as a thought. Well, what if Siah don't like it either?" she wondered genuinely.

"That's when you just ask him. See if that's something he'd like," Aryn shrugged. "Exploring your newfound sexuality will come with plenty questions, I'm sure he knows this,"

"Yeah I ask him a million questions," she giggled. "I'm sure he's sick of my ass.

After a few glasses of wine, and a shot or two, Kash was texting Siah as if her friends were not there.

"Oop," she stuck her tongue out slightly when his new messages came through, and she got the brilliant drunken idea to ask him the question now.

"Oop!" she repeated. "Let's see where this gets me," she smirked at her phone at his response. She wouldn't lie, ever since their first time, each encounter left her feeling differently, more open and more willing to try things. She figured he knew, because had he asked to cuff her with a belt when they first had sex she may have looked at him like he was insane.

Now, she was wondering when they were gonna buy real ones.

Kash was an intelligent girl, and she liked being well informed about everything so she found herself reading a lot, and this was no exception. After that ordeal she was all in her phone looking things up, and suffice to say, she was intrigued. He fit the perfect description of a dominant personality at least sexually and she was starting to see where she was the opposite.

"Sadé, you don't hear me?" Aryn said, snapping her out of her slightly dirty thoughts. "I said when y'all leaving?"

"Oh! Tomorrow at 4, the flight is at 7:30, so we're leaving like 4-ish. I'm nervous but I'm ready I guess," she shrugged.

"You'll be fine, pooh. Everybody loves you," Nevaeh chuckled. "Just be yourself. And honestly, from experience, they families don't be shit sometimes so don't stress it too much," she pointed. "He's the one you're in a relationship with, they're not,"

"You're right," Kash nodded. "Y'all know I get caught up in my own head. Like I was literally trying to decide what to bring so I wouldn't look boujee," she chuckled dryly.

Growing up, Kash didn't care if people thought she was spoiled or a brat—but she didn't like when people assumed things about her because of that. She liked to think she was a good and kind hearted girl, but lots of times people went out of their way to assume the exact opposite.

"Oh no ma'am, don't water yourself down for nobody, I been telling you that since we was 18," Aryn curled her lip up.

"Yes ma'am," Kash smiled slightly.

Hopefully, she wouldn't have to.

"Hi Bubs," Kash waved, as Siah put her bags in the car. As usual, Khyren was taking them to the airport for their flight to Houston. It wasn't at all a long flight, they'd been to Texas before, just to Dallas to see her dad's family.

"Wassup? You aight?" he asked.

"I'm fine. How are you?" she nodded. She'd been worrying about him for days, ever since he last came over, but she knew he didn't wanna talk about it, and that worried her more than anything. They'd always been able to talk to each other about anything, their whole lives and the fact that he didn't want to now was slightly upsetting. But, she'd respect his wishes and leave it be until he wanted to talk.

"I'm okay," he smiled slightly. "You ready to meet the fam?" he smirked and Siah shook his head with a slight chuckle beside him.

"I am," she nodded with a smile. He greeted Tatum who was coming along as well, of course. His wife's family was like his family even now, they stood by him closely when Savannah and Marlei passed away, and although they were sad to see the boys go, they supported him taking Siah to Atlanta more than his own side of the family.

Once they got to the airport, they all thanked Khy for the ride and Kash gave him an extra tight hug before they left, and he assured her that it'd be fine, she thanked him.

"You hungry, Peanut?" Siah asked her as they sat at their gate, waiting for the flight to be called.

"Mmm, not really, are you?" she looked over at him, away from her phone and he was already looking down at her, making her smile. "Stop staring," she gently mushed his face and he did it back to her, which resulted in them beginning to fight in their seats.

"You gon get yo' ass whooped," he chuckled, swatting her hand away when she reached for his face.

"I been meaning to beat yo' ass for a lil while now," she shot back, finally connecting, making his jaw drop.

Tatum just watched them from his seat, shaking his head at their silliness. They were like this all the time and it never stopped being entertaining.

"Wait till we get to my Mimi house, you can't run fast, Im gon get yo ass back," he pointed and she laughed. "You think I'm playing," he chuckled.

"I'll simply tell your Mimi that you're trying to hit me, if she's as nice as you say she is, she not gon let you," she stuck her tongue out at him.

"You ain' shit," he chuckled. "Tryna turn my grandmother against me,"

"It won't be hard, look at me, I'm an angel," she batted her lashes dramatically and he reached for her face, trying to literally pull said lashes off. "Boy fuck you! These extensions," she smacked his hand and he smacked his hand over his mouth to stop from laughing again.

"My bad, baby," he chuckled.

"Stop, don't touch me," she tried to fight the smile on her face. "Get out my face! Dad can you get your son away from me, please," she turned to Tatum. "He's bothering me,"

"Kasiah, stop harassing my daughter in law," Tatum straight faced him and Siah's jaw dropped.

"See, won't be hard to get Mimi on my side too," she winked in his direction and he flicked his middle finger up at her.

Once they landed in Houston, they grabbed their carryons and Siah kept a firm grip on Kash's hand as they navigated the crowd to where his grandfather was waiting, where he always waited whenever they came back to visit.

"There he go," Tatum nodded toward Jebediah, with a bottle of water, Siah smiled slightly at seeing him. He talked to his grandmother more, but he dearly loved his grandfather, they had a very close relationship, and when they were together it was always like it hadn't been months since they'd seen one another.

"Hey, son!" his grandfather smiled widely, referring to either he or his father. He never really knew. "How y'all bee—oh! And who may this be?" he asked, noticing Sadé's smaller self desperately clinging to Siah's hand.

"Pop, this is my girlfriend, Sadé. Sadé, this is my grandad Jebediah," he introduced, gesturing between the two of them.

"Girlfriend?! Since when you had a girlfriend? Why you ain't tell me she was coming?! I'm sorry young lady, it's good to meet you," he smacked Siah's arm, and held his hand out for Sadé.

"H-hello, it's nice to meet you as well," she stammered, shaking his hand. "Thank you for having me," she smiled politely.

"Pop, I definitely told you she was coming, so I don't appreciate being hit," Siah said.

"When? I don't remember," he said, and Tatum stifled a laugh because he was there when Siah told his grandfather Sadé was gonna be there. "Anyway, young lady, is my grandson treating you well? Are we gonna have to whoop him?"

"No sir," Sadé giggled. "He's great," she nodded.

"Good, now let's get on to the truck, your Mimi been callin' me all afternoon 'bout y'all landin' safely," he shook his head.

They all loaded up in Jebediah's old pickup, and they were on their way to the house. The drive was pretty quiet, the music was just playing lowly and Sadé sat in the back just thinking. She thought, since his grandfather was so sweet, maybe his grandmother was as nice as he said and this would be a piece of cake.

"Alright, here we are," Sadé heard as the car came to a stop. They were in a more rural area, and she was shocked by the size of the house. Her own grandparents house was big as well, and it never ceased to amaze her how big the houses were in Texas sometimes.

"You gon catch flies," Siah chuckled, tapping her chin so her mouth would close. He helped her get her bags from the car and she looked around, seeing women on the wraparound porch, laughing and joking, kids running around the front yard, and a dog sitting by the stairs, letting out a huge yawn.

It looked like some kind of movie scene.

She took a hold of Siah's arm as they approached, and his family members didn't even notice him, he told her they'd be back out to say hello to them later, but he wanted to find his Mimi first, and she obliged that, following him into the house, gasping at the interior.

It was beautifully decorated while still maintaining that cozy homey feel of a southern home. She looked to her left to see pictures on the walls, and one instantly caught her eye. "Is that your mama?" she gestured toward the picture.

"Mhm, that's Ms. Savannah Victoria back in the day," he smiled fondly at the photo. She had this look about her, Kash noticed. It was like she knew she looked good in the picture—and she did. Heer smirk was extremely reminiscent of Siah's and even though she was lighter than him, she could see him all over her face.

"She was beautiful," Kash smiled at the photo and Siah looked down at her, eyes full of adoration before they continued their quest to find his grandma.

"Mimi! Mimi, whea' you at?!" Siah called.

"Boy! Quit hollerin' in my house, I done told you a thousand times," Sadé heard a voice descending the stairs and she was then greeted with Mimi—who looked exactly like Ms. Savannah.

"There go my favorite girl!" he grinned, and her heart got warm seeing him so excited.

"Hi my baby," she smiled, and almost immediately shifted her attention to Sadé. "Oh my goodness, he really has a girlfriend, hello! How are you honey?"

"H-hi, I'm good thank you. I'm Sadé," she smiled, stumbling over her words again. "Thank you for having me, you have a beautiful home,"

"Hi Sadé. I'm Clarabelle, you can call me Ms. Clara, and thank you, sweetheart. You are absolutely stunning," she said sincerely. "I know his grandfather probably asked you—but is this one treating you well? Do I need to get the spoon?" she nodded her head at Kasiah.

"Mimi!" he gasped. "I treat her fantastic. Don't I, Peanut?" he asked, squeezing her hand. Sadé glanced at him, almost snitching about him at the airport, but decided to spare him a wooden spoon.

"Yes ma'am, he does. No
