"You tellin' me she popped up at yo' crib?" Khy snickered as they stepped into the garage for their break. It had been a week and a half since his birthday and he was just now getting around to telling Khyren what happened with Kash the night after.

"Hell yeah, eatin' breakfast wit' my pops and all, she crazy as hell," he chuckled. He couldn't lie and say it wasn't extremely attractive, though.

"Yup, and now she all yo' crazy to deal with," he joked. "Nah but I'm happy for y'all," he said as they took seats in the waiting area. It was cold in Georgia now—as December was right around the corner. Thanksgiving had just passed and Kasiah had just got back from Texas.

The only thing he didn't enjoy too much about the holidays was all the traveling he had to do. He had to go back and forth from Georgia to Texas for Thanksgiving, his Grandparents anniversary and for Christmas.

By the time New Years came around, he was exhausted and only wanted to sleep. He loved his family of course but traveling made him very tired.

"Y'all traveling for Christmas?" Siah yawned.

"Yeah, we finna be in Savannah. I'on know if you count that," he chuckled. "My auntie and them wanna host so bad, so we going there. Then straight after we goin to Toccoa," he said, making Siah's eyes widen. "You forgot. You dumbass," Khy laughed.

"I ain' forget, I just...forgot to book my ticket," he chuckled and Khy laughed harder.

"See, you must want Sadé on yo' ass, she excited as hell about going back, and you forgot?"

"I'm lookin' for one now! Shit," he huffed. "The only one is for a day later...that's fine right? It should be fine," he nodded. "Lemme look at another airline,"

"His girlfriend got him stressed—she ain't even say nothing," Khy continued to laugh and Siah couldn't help but do the same.

As they sat around, they heard keys—loud keys coming in the door and a very familiar voice on the phone as it approached them.

"Girl yes and I told her ass—oop they in here staring at me sis. Ima talk to you when I leave...okay. Shut up, bye," she giggled. "Hi you guys," she cheesed.

"Wassup Fat fat," Khy chuckled.

She looked over at Siah and her smile just grew bigger, making him smile too. She happily walked over to him and leaned over his chair, giving him a kiss. "Hi," she said, still close to his face.

"Wassup?" he smirked, kissing her again. He already knew Khy was giving them a very stank face, and he thought it was hilarious, he didn't even have to see it.

"Oh, before I get distracted, I brought y'all food," she stood straight up, and he just watched her slightly biting down on his lip. If there was one thing about Sadé, she rarely left her house looking a mess. Even if she was dressed down, she was dressed up just by the way she carried herself.

Her hair was out, her natural hair, and slicked back low into a puff. He rarely saw her hair but he knew she had lots of it and he could tell just by the size of her puff.

"Here, Siah, what the hell you thinking about," Sadé called, snapping him back to reality where she was holding out a bag of food for him.

"You," he smirked and watched as she blushed. "Come here," he patted his lap and she raised her eyebrows.

"You finna eat, Kasiah," she pointed.

"Okay, and? Girl come here," he said again. She playfully rolled her eyes and walked over to him, sitting on his lap, keeping herself mostly to his left side, until he pulled her legs over his. She sat there, confused as to how he was going to eat—but he sat the food on her lap, and started eating.

He was so astonished as to how she made him this way so quickly. He was never the most affectionate person—sometimes he still had his moments. But ever since he first started sleeping in the bed with Kash, he'd find himself wanting it, just from her though. He accepted hugs, but he didn't like them too long, but hers could last forever he honestly wouldn't mind. Ask any of his previous girlfriends, he didn't kiss them much, he didn't like cuddling. He would even move away in his sleep.

But let Sadé tell it, he was a teddy bear. A huge baby. He liked kisses, he welcomed cuddles and he was completely still in his sleep once he grabbed a hold of her.

"It's good?" she asked, reaching her hand behind his head, slowly rubbing her thumb across the nape of his neck. He nodded and she did the same with a smile before getting back on her phone.

"Y'all too disgusting for me," Khy chuckled and Kash laughed. "Kash, your mama invited me to her baby shower," he smirked.

"Khyren, you have a girlfriend and my mama is married!" she laughed. Khy had a crush on Kash's mom since he was a kid. He always thought she was gorgeous. When she'd drop Kash off for her week at her dad's, Khy was always there showing off. Of course, he wasn't serious anymore, at least Kash would like to think since like she said—Ava and Lamarr were in the picture as well as her new sibling.

After a little while longer, Kash had to leave because Siah's break was over, so he walked her to her car. "You gon see me in like two days," he chuckled.

"That's too long," she huffed, hugging him around his torso. "You gonna call me?" she looked up at him and he nodded with a smirk. He couldn't pick her up tonight because he has Christmas shopping to do with his dad. Then the next day he was working late so he promised to take her out Saturday.

"It's gon be quick, quit allat pouting, crybaby," he said, flicking her bottom lip. "I gotta go to work, gon head and get in," he said popping her door open. She got in the car and buckled up, starting it before opening her window with her lips puckered making him laugh.

He shook his head and ducked his head into her window, kissing her lips and forehead. "Bye, Sadé before I'm late,"

"Bye, Kasiah." She mocked his voice and stuck her tongue out, switching gears to pull off.

"Aight dad, I'm finna go," Siah spoke, coming upstairs from his room. Today was he and Kash's date, and it was about time for him to go get her. The past two days had been extremely tiring, and he was exhausted, but he promised.

"Be safe, son" Tatum called from the kitchen. "If you get food bring me back some I'an cooking," he added.

"I gotchu," Siah laughed as he left out the front door.

On his way, he made sure to text her and tell her to be ready, because if there was one thing he knew about Sadé it was that she loved to take her time and do everything, especially get dressed. It was like she had no sense of urgency, meanwhile he did everything in thirty minutes or less.

Once he pulled up, he called her to see if she was dressed.

"Hello?" she answered.

"Sadé. Why you not ready?" he raised his eyebrows to see her applying a lash to her eye. "Ain't I text you fifteen minutes ago?"

"Yes, and I was in the middle of my face! You know my dad, you can come inside. I just need to put my clothes on after this," she told him and he sighed dramatically. "Patience is a virtue," she giggled and he shook his head before telling her he'd be inside.

He walked up to the door and rang the bell, only to be greeted by Kash's father yelling that it was open. He pushed the door open and saw Mr. Bryant and his wife on the loveseat watching a movie.

"Oh wassup, Siah?" Donavan spoke.

"Hi sweetheart," Anaya waved, with a smile. She was always smiling, he noticed.

"Hey, how y'all doing? I'm just waiting for Sadé, she told me she was almost finished," he informed them. They invited him to have a seat and he did so, where he usually sat in the corner of the sofa.

He had already gotten 'the talk' from Sadé's dad which was basically the same threat he gor from Khy but on steroids. He was sure to let Siah know that he cared about him, of course they were like family but Sadé was more important than all of that. And her happiness was important, which Siah knew.

He knew they were going extra hard because of what happened to her recently, the stalking and the breakup. It seemed like she couldn't get a break for a little while and now that she was finally happy they didn't want it ruined by him or anything which he completely understood. He wouldn't hurt her intentionally, he wouldn't go out of his way to put her back in the position she was in before, he saw it and it was heartbreaking.

"Okay! Here I come," everyone heard Sadé yell, as she started to descend the steps. It only took her about ten extra minutes, probably because she changed her outfit at the last second. "Sorry, I had to change my outfit," she smiled innocently and he simply shook his head, getting up.

She looked good though, so he couldn't be too mad.

"See y'all later, have a good night," Siah waved at her parents and took her hand, very careful not to kiss her in front of her father.

"Bye daddy, bye Naya! Text me if you need me," she grinned and they were on their way.

"Sorry I took so long," she sighed. "My first outfit was very much a mess, and I couldn't come downstairs looking crazy,"

"I just know it was nothing wrong wit' what you had on," he chuckled. "But you straight. You look good," he glanced over at her from the road. "When did you get yo' hair done I just saw you last night," he furrowed his eyebrows.

"Aw thank you!" she grinned. "Boy I was at the salon this morning. My hair is very time consuming and I only have it out for maybe two weeks at a time. She's too thick for me," she shook her head.

"You just lazy," he chuckled.

"Lazy?! You do it then, Siah. When I take this sew in out, I'm gon come to your house and we're gonna take my braids down, detangle, wash, deep condition, detangle again, we can do a lil trim on my ends and then we'll braid her up and be done. Deal?"

"Im gon tell you now, I'on know what the hell you talkin' bout. So you gon come to my house and Ima sit there and watch you," he nodded.

"You make me sick, you know that? Real sick," she laughed.

"Siah!" she pouted as they arrived at their destination. "This is so cute!"

"Is it?" he chuckled, watching her get all excited. It was still very early in the month, but he wanted to take her to the Atlanta Zoo, to see the zoo lights and take her out to eat afterwards. He took her hand, leading her toward the entrance, and showing their tickets so they could go inside.

She loved things like this, she loved the season around Christmas and all of the activities surrounding it.

"Oh wow!" she gasped once they were inside. "It's beautiful,"

He nodded, as she looked around in amazement, he thought it was cute how much wonder she had in her eyes as if her father hadn't brought her here countless times as kid. All that mattered was that she was having a good time.

"Siah, let's take a picture," she said as they continued to walk. "It's our first date, we have to take a picture," she smiled.

"First date? I ain' take you out before?" he raised his eyebrows.

"Kasiah, taking me to my doctor's appointment and buying me ice cream after my shots is not a date," she laughed.

"But you had fun, didn't you?" he smirked and she laughed harder. "Nah, we can take a picture, come on," he pulled her to the side and they stopped someone to take it for them. "What I'm supposed to do?" he looked down at her as she started to pose.

"Boy—smile," she straight faced him. "Is he smiling?" she asked through clenched teeth and her own smile, making the lady laugh and shake her head no. "Kasiah!" she laughed.

"Aight aight, I'm sorry," he chuckled, and put a real smile on for her.

"Now gimme kiss," she turned and grabbed his face, making him smirk before leaning down to kiss her. "Thank you so much!" she said to the woman, before taking her phone back and looking at the pictures. "Aww! Look," she showed him.

He grabbed her phone, looking through their pictures with a small smile on his face. "You look pretty, Sadé," he looked over at her.

"Thank you," she blushed. "Okay, let's walk up so we can finish," she said excitedly and grabbed his hand, pulling him behind her.

After they finished at the zoo, Siah took Kash out to eat.

"This is nice! I can't believe I never been here," she commented while looking around the restaurant. "How you found out about this? You been bringing yo' lil girlfriends here?" she joked, raising her eyebrows.

"And if I have?" he did the same and her jaw dropped, making him die laughing. "Nah, you the only one. And they wasn't my girlfriends. You my girlfriend," he emphasized.

"Period, they better know too," she smirked. "Speaking of, you got any crazy exes? Or some girls that was obsessed with you that I have to worry about dm'ing me wanting to fight over your stank ass, sir?" she asked, halfway serious. "I don't play them games, I have mace, and a jeep"

"A jeep?" he tilted his head.

"To run them over, Kasiah," she said in a duh tone.

"Gir—Sadé you not running shit over," he laughed. "Nah, I only got two exes. I'on keep up wit' em except the lil shit off instagram. I think we good," he chuckled and she nodded with a short laugh herself.

As she continued looking through her menu, she happened to look up and see Siah's phone up to his face. She raised here eyebrows, and he didn't move letting her know he was recording making her hand fly up to her face.

"You think that lil baby ass hand gon make me stop?" he smirked and she put it down, sticking her middle finger up at him. "Keep playin' wit' me, Sadé. You not gon have no damn fingers," he chuckled and she stuck her tongue out instead. "I know what to do wit' that too," he peeked from behind his phone and she was definitely blushing.

"Okay, Siah! We gotta do first date stuff, get to know me," she said once he finally stopped.

"I'on know if you forgot but I known you since you was 10," he said, sipping his water and she straight faced him. "Have I not?!"

"You gon make me smack you, Kasiah," she chuckled. "You know everybody's Sadé. You don't know your Sadé," she explained and a slick look graced his face.

"Aight, I gotchu. What you wanna know?" he asked and from there they had a good conversation about things they never even knew about each other, things they never thought to ask and didn't really get into for as long as they'd known one another.

"I got one. As an adult, what's your biggest fear?" he asked, as she ate some of her pasta.

"Definitely failure," she said after eating. "I have a lot of people around me that are really big success stories you know? Everyone in my family has been setting me up to be somebody, and that whatever your definition of success is you find that and hold it. I'm scared I'll fail, that I'm gon be the only Bryant, the only Tate that isn't somebody, you know? I don't need to be rich or nothing like that I just wanna succeed at whatever I do," she explained and he nodded along as she spoke.

"Nah, that's understandable. I can see it in y'all, especially yo dad. But you said it, they been setting you up. You gon be good regardless cuz you was built for it, everybody got confidence in you," he said.

"Thank you, Siah," she smiled. "It means a lot, you really don't know," she said. "But what about you? What's your biggest fear?"

"Uh...being alone," he said hesitantly. "The thought of goin' through the rest of my life and losing people I love and care about, or just goin' through life and not havin' nobody. Especially the thought of like dying by myself wit' nobody that care about me by my side that shit terrifies me, I never wanna experience loneliness to where it hurts, you know?"

She never expected him to say something like that. Of course she knew relationships were a need for everyone in the world, but she just never thought he would be the type to fear loneliness. He never seemed like the type to have lots of people around, nor need a large group of people. But she could clearly see that even by the look in his face, he really didn't like the idea of being by himself, the look in his eye was hard to miss.

"Well, as long as I got something to say about it, you're not gonna have to worry about being alone," she said, reaching over the table to pick his hand up. "Promise," she grinned and a smile quirked up on his lips.

"Don't make promises you can't keep, Sadé," he said seriously. He wanted to believe her, he wanted to believe a lot of things but that didn't make it easy.

"Of course," she held her pinky up. "You can't break pinky promises," she said, and he gladly hooked his pinky with hers.
