"Hey pooh! Where you at?" Kash answered Aryn's call with a smile on her face. They had a self care night planned, which would just consist of them doing face masks in cute pajamas and watching movies while drinking wine and watching Waiting to Exhale and probably Dreamgirls.

"Hey babe, I'm so sorry," she prefaced and Kash's smile dropped.

"Sorry? How come?" she wondered.

"I can't make it, Kash. I gotta go home, s-something happened to my Pawpaw," she sniffed.

"What?! Is he okay?! Oh my goodness Aryn, I'm sorry. When's your flight?" she asked in an alarmed tone. Aryn was very big on family and the fact that something happened and she wasn't there was probably killing her inside.

"He's in the hospital he had to have emergency surgery but I gotta go see him. My flight leaves in an hour and I'm almost to the airport,"

"Okay good! Good, let me know when you take off and please let me know when you get there. I'm praying for him, baby," Kash said and Aryn thanked her with a sad smile. "I love you okay? Be safe mama,"

"Thank you, best. I'll see you soon, I love you more," she replied and they hung up their call.

Sighing, Kash looked around at all the stuff she had to clean and put away since Aryn wasn't coming anymore and prepare to be alone for the night, since her dad and Anaya were in Macon visiting Anaya's family.

Then she remembered. "Oh duh, I have a boyfriend now," she chuckled and pulled out her phone to see that he finally responded to the tiktok she sent him.

siah💘: i wanna pop a titty 🙂 now what?

She bursted out laughing, remembering exactly what tiktok it was and she shook her head, replying and ready to make him come over.

: kasiahhh
siah💘: huh
: im sad 🥺
siah💘: awwww whats the matter stank 🥺🥺🥺

She laughed loudly again, because he was making fun of her. Very obviously too. She called him stink and he hated it, and she stayed using that emoji for everything so it wasn't at all hard to tell that he was mocking the way she texted.

: LMAO stop making fun of me! im sad!
siah💘: aight my bad. what's wrong P?

She took that as an invitation to call his phone with the best sad eyes she could muster and he picked up the phone and sucked his teeth.

"Man Sadé—what you want? You always giving somebody that damn face when you want something," he chuckled.

"Nothing! I just want you to come over!" she pleaded her case. "Aryn has a family emergency and we were supposed to have a girl's night now I'm all lonely at my house, so come,"

"Oh I'm the rebound huh?" he smirked.

"I mean...if you wanna look at it that way," she giggled and he rolled his eyes. "Are you coming?"

"Yeah, but you ain't shit, and I don't like you," he chuckled and she laughed. "I'm dead ass don't try to kiss me or nothing when I get over there since I'm your rebound and allat," he said.

"Yeah aight we gon see," she curled her lip up and they got off of FaceTime and she did a little dance happy he was coming. She, on purpose, forgot to mention that he would be participating in the girl's night festivities but he didn't need to know that until he got here.

She refused to change from her cute pajamas, she could only hope Siah wasn't dressed. It was only 8:30, so he shouldn't be.

He didn't live far so she made sure her hair still looked okay and she went and grabbed the wine out of the fridge as well as two glasses and the chocolate covered strawberries she made for the occasion, as well as the other snacks she bought.

Soon enough, the bell rang and she was sliding to the door in the ugg slides she got for Christmas. "Coming!" she called when it rang again. "Ringing my bell like he crazy," she mumbled. Once she got there she pulled it open to see Siah in shorts and a white t-shirt.

"Boy what the hell is wrong with you! It's cold outside where is yo' jacket?" she fussed.

"It's cold, and you just gon let me stand here?" he raised his eyebrows and she sucked her teeth, moving to the side so he could come in. "I'an need a jacket, I was coming straight inside from inside," he explained as she closed and locked the door.

"Whatever," she chuckled. "Hi, Siah," she cheesed.

"Hi, Sadé," he smirked. "Aht! What I tell you I'on want no kiss from you, girl," he stepped back when she stepped toward him with her arms out.

"Stop playing!" she whined. "Gimme kiss!"

"Ask Aryn for a kiss," he teased and she rushed over, before he could run and wrapped her arms around his body. "Let me go," he chuckled.

"No! Stop being mean and kiss me. I will bite you, Kasiah," she threatened, opening her mouth and showing her teeth, making him crack up laughing. "I'm serious," she giggled.

"Whatever, here," he leaned down and gave her what she wanted. "Happy?"

"Very," she nodded. "Okay! Sooo, I figured since I have all this stuff for two, you could do it with me?" she cheesed and he sucked his teeth. "Please, Siah! It's gonna be fun and your skin is gonna be smooth. I got wine and chocolate covered strawberries and candy," she tried to convince him.

He wanted to say no—honestly he did. But she looked so excited and happy about everything she had planned, the last thing he wanted to do was rain on her parade and make her upset. Plus, she always did what he wanted to do when she came to his house, so he could do this for her.

"Aight, Sadé," he chuckled as she got even more excited. "Could I get comfortable or yo' pops finna come home?" he wondered.

"Oh go head, he's not coming home till tomorrow night," she informed him and he peeled his shirt off without a second thought. "Wow, you fine as hell," she sighed, shamelessly staring him down when he came over to the couch.

"Thank you, baby," he chuckled, kissing her again. "Aight, what we finna do first?" he asked, looking at the different things she had set out.

"You can pick. I'm probably gonna do that mask," she pointed at a light pink tinted mask. He looked over all his options and pointed at the black. "Baby, that one might hurt, especially since you got facial hair," she pointed.

"I'a be fine, what's in here? Charcoal? Ain't that supposed to be good for you?"

"Well yeah, but—"

"Then Ima do it," he shrugged and she stifled a laugh, nodding and reaching to help him put it on.

"Ow! Pull it slow!" Siah complained as Kash pulled the mask off for him once it was fully dry. "Sadé that fuckin' hurts,"

"And I told you that! Hard headed ass! Stay still," she laughed as he kept jerking his head away from her. "Kasiah Alijah Parker. If you want it off, stay still or Ima leave it,"

The mask was now dry, and Siah clearly wasn't enjoying it. She had plucked his eyebrows, made sure his nails were clean and healthy looking and made him wear an eye mask while they waited and while at first, this wasn't his idea of a good time—he was very relaxed. Until now, that is.

"Man fine—fuck!" he exclaimed when she ripped a piece off without telling him. "Ain't I say go slow?"

"Do you peel bandaids off slow? No!" she said, picking at anime piece till it came off. "See! All done, now lemme put some moisturizer on you, you all dry," she giggled as he looked at all the nasty stuff in the mask.

"This shit nasty. I thought I washed my face good," he curled his lip up.

Sade rubbed some of her facial moisturizer into his face, taking a seat in his lap. "You probably do, there's just some things you can't easily wash away. Which is why dermatologists exist—you not doing this mask no more,"

He nodded in agreement, letting his eyes close while she rubbed on his face. He was tired in all actuality, but he was having fun with Kash, like he always did.

"Sadé what are you doing?" he asked, eyes still closed.

"You got an ingrown! Lemme get it, Papa," she said, poking the bump. "It'll be quick," he opened one of his eyes and she already had the little tool in her hands, making him chuckle.

"Go head, Dae," he mumbled, getting comfortable again.

Once she was finally done messing with his face, she put on her own moisturizer and got comfortable in his lap again, pouring them both glasses of wine and turning on a movie. "Aw hell, my mama love this damn movie," he laughed when Dreamgirls came up on the screen.

"Really?! She has immaculate taste, this is one of my favorite movies," she giggled, sipping from her cup as he did his. She wanted to ask him more about his mom—but she didn't want to make him sad or trigger him at all. There was just so much she wanted to learn about him and his family.

"Why you starin? I got another one?" he glanced over at her.

"No, no sorry. I was just...looking," she said, turning back to the tv. "I was!" she defended when she heard him sigh.

"If you was just looking you wouldn't apologize, Sadé. What's the matter?" he asked, tapping her leg so she'd turn back and look at him.

"It's really nothing wrong, Siah I just—I wanted to ask about your mom. But I didn't wanna upset you or anything," she explained.

"Well...what about my mama?" he wondered. "Talking about my mama never upsets me, I love to talk about her. I mean hell yeah I get all nostalgic and I miss her like hell but I keep her alive in my heart when I talk about her," he told her. "So whatchu wanna know?" he smiled slightly.

"Well I just wanted to know what she was like," she said and he nodded, chuckling knowing she was going to love his answer.

"My mama was a lot like you," he began and just like he thought a big smile started to grow on her face. "She lit up the room every time she walked in, she was always smiling and laughing, everyone loved her. She was really patient, even when she was upset she rarely yelled at me. I'on know why because my ass was annoying and bad," he said and Kash laughed. "My mama was really a sweetheart. A genuine one and she had such a big heart,"

"She sounds lovely," Kash smiled gently, rubbing his face in her hand. How'd she and your dad meet?" she wondered, because she could clearly see he was happy to talk about her and the smile on his face proved it.

"They met in middle school. He liked her in the ninth grade and he said by tenth he knew he was gon marry her. Then he did, when they turned nineteen they eloped. She always used to tell me dad was obsessed with her—and he never denied that. He used to go out his way to walk her home every night, and he said one day he asked her to be his girlfriend and it was curtains from there. Never broke up," Siah said. He knew the story well.

"That's so romantic!" she cooed. "Ugh I love love stories,"

"I know," he laughed. "My mama really would have loved you, y'all would have got along real good. When I say you act just like her sometimes I mean it. Except she ain't hit me all the damn time and she ain't have that smart ass mouth you got," he teased.

"Oh whatever! You love my smart ass mouth cuz you got one one too, and I do not hit you that much," she chuckled.

"Yeah aight, I got a bruise on my—"

"That was an accident! I said sorry like a million times and I cried. Do my tears mean nothing to you, Kasiah?" she squinted her eyes.

"You really hell, you know that?" he chuckled.

At work two days after he was at Kash's house, he and Khy were on break after working for hours straight. They had back to back walk ins and they were exhausted.

"l can't wait to take my ass home to my damn girlfriend," Khy huffed. He wasn't having the best day—neither was Kasiah honestly. It seemed like all their customers today had bad attitudes and it was rubbing off on the pair.

"Hell yeah," Siah sighed, even though he had yet to ask Sadé to come over. She had an interview today and he didn't want to distract her even a little bit.

"How's Sadé? I ain't seen her in a few days," he asked.

"She straight," Siah nodded. "She told you bout the interview already?" he asked and Khy nodded. "I hope she get it, she been stressing herself out bad behind that,"

"She always do that. In school, whenever she do something important she stress out till she get it done the way she want. She gon be aight though," he nodded knowingly. "How y'all been?" he smirked and Siah shook his head with a chuckle.

He could honestly say that the past two months had been the happiest he'd been in a little while. He underestimated the feeling a relationship could give and he definitely underestimated the feelings Sadé could give him. She had him deep in his feelings constantly and he wasn't at all used to that.

In general, Kasiah was reserved emotionally. He didn't wear his emotions on his sleeves like Kash did, and most times he could admit to being a little hard to read but she had him wide open. He talked to her about things that he never even spoke about before, not even to himself. He could see himself being with her and not just for now.

Before he could even stop himself from speaking he opened his mouth to respond to Khy's question. "I-I think I love her,"he spat out, and Khy nearly choked on air. Siah was shocked himself, he didn't meant to say that.

"You love her?"  Khy asked, eyes wide. "Nigga are you serious?" He nodded, and Khy started to smile. "Aw shit na', that boy in love, that's crazy!"

"Crazy as hell. I mean...I really been, but I guess...I guess I'm just now coming to terms," he breathed out. He was in awe that it only took him a month—just thirty days to fall in love with Sadé. It felt like forever ago when he even realized that he liked her, and the relationship felt longer and they hadn't been together even three months yet.

"Well why the hell you telling me! Tell her!" he threw his arms up. "Don't let her beat you to it like last time," he smirked and Siah laughed. Donny and Khy had been clowning him for letting Kash be the one to admit her feelings first even though he told them about it weeks prior and had ample space and opportunity.

"I won't," he shook his head. "Well I hope not," he chuckled.

Siah leaned back on his couch, wincing because he was so sore. The last two days of work had taken a toll on him physically and while his job was always taxing, this reminded him of when he first started working.

He picked his phone up to text Sadé back and see if she was coming now that her interview had been over with.

: you gon spend the night over here?
brat💕: yesssss i was waiting on you to ask 🙂
: lmao why? just come over im gon let you in regardless. Ima leave the door open when you get here my back fuckin hurt
brat💕: aw papa 🥺 you want a massage?

He smirked to himself at her message and told her yes, knowing she would come rub him down and be as extra as possible—as was her nature. He didn't care what she did as long as it didn't hurt.

He yawned and stood up—slowly because he was quite literally aching at this point, and went down to the basement to wait on her.

"Kasiah!" he heard as she opened the front door. "Where are you?" Instead of yelling back, he just FaceTimed her. "Kasiah why are you calling me?" she chuckled and he heard her footsteps coming toward him.

"You asked where I was," he said in a duh tone.

"Boy—get off my phone," she laughed and hung it up as she entered his room with her very large Louis duffel bag and matching purse. A very large purse at that.

"Damn baby, you spending the night or moving in my shit?" he chuckled, and she simply flicked her middle finger up at him. "Fuck you too, now come here," he said, and she very gladly set her bags down and walked over to him.

"I missed you," she cooed, pressing kisses all over his face.

"Sadé, please," he chuckled, and she finally pulled back. "I missed you, too,"  he said, cuffing her neck and pulling her back in for a longer—much slower kiss.

"Okay! You tryna make me all hot and shit—stop!" she pulled back laughing when he tried to kiss on her neck. "Lemme change and then we can work on your lil back pain," she said, sounding much more enthused than he thought.

He watched her move around his room, and although she wasn't that short—just about 5'5, she always looked so little to him, especially when she moved fast like she was now. The fact that her legs were short also just made it so amusing to watch her do things.

"Okay!" she huffed when she was in nothing but a t-shirt and a satin scarf covering her head, hair flowing down her shoulders. "You like lavender? I got lavender oil," she said.

"What?!" he laughed. "When did you—"

"When you said you wanted a massage," she cheesed and he simply shook his head. "Lay on your stomach please sir, so I can get to work," she clapped her hands together and he did just that, groaning as he turned. "Aw my poor stink stink," she cooed.

"I'm gon pop you—"

"In my mouth, yes I know," she giggled. "Okay we gotta set the mood, you know like I'm a professional," she said and he couldn't stop laughing at how serious she was taking this, but next thing he knew his lights were off and the LED's shined blue all throughout the room.

She came back over to the bed and climbed up on his back, sitting right below his waist. "You ready?" she asked popping her oil open and he nodded, finally resting his head on the pillow and shutting his eyes.
