"Nigga you a bitch for how you playing yo' cards on princess" warren said as I drove him home. I looked at him with a mug. "You don't know what you talking about, so shut the fuck up and enjoy this free ride"

He sucked his teeth."you should've told her you didn't want a relationship from the jump if you was just gone ignore her".

I sighed." Do you think I wanna ignore her like this?" I stopped at a red light and ran my hand over my face. "What you mean?" He asked.

"Pops dont want me fucking with her on that level".

"And you listening to him?"

"You know how I am warren , I'm not with all that relationship shit. I'd end up dogging her" I said as the light turned green.

"Ohhhh". He nodded his head. "You still wrong". He shrugged.

I heard my phone ring. "Grab that , and answer"

He grabbed my phone phone and looked at the contact before grinning. "Jenny huh?"

I smiled and pulled up in front of his house. The phone stopped ringing."didn't I tell you to answer it?"

"Kelly gone whoop her ass and yours , didn't you see her fight Kendra ? Ooweee" warren tossed the phone onto my lap and hopped out my car. "You still picking me up later for bowling today?"

I nodded."Yeah so he ready , and be careful"

"Bestfriend I'm so sorry I can't come today , I feel like I'm about to throw up every other minute and I don't want to be a party pooper"

I looked at myself in my mirror , looking at the two feed in braids shalonda did on me. Another slayage.

I took my phone off speaker and put it up to my ear. "It's ok bestie just lay down and rest. You won't be missing out on much."

I heard shuffling before she spoke."I'm gonna he missing out on whooping y'all ass in bowling"

I chuckled and sat down on my bed. "Yeah right , you know I get them strikes like clockwork"

"Mhm Whatever" she sighed. "What you wearing?"

"I'm wearing a yellow sweatshirt, light jeans, and those black and white vans you couldn't fit"

"You wearing any jewelry?" She asked. "Yeah the diamond necklace and earrings my dad got me when he was alive". I replied.

"Okay sis, you look good" The line went silent. "Kells do you ever wish your dad was still here? I do"

"Yeah, all the time" I said biting my lower lip. I missed my dad so much. He was my right hand man. Always there for me, and telling me how much he loved me.

At this moment of life I rather have my dad here than my mom. Sounds harsh but that's how I feel.

I heard sniffling. I furrowed my eyebrows and looked at my phone before speaking."You good?"

"Kelly I don't want to bring a child into this world without a dad."

I sighed and scratched my arm. "Like I said plenty of times before Courtney. You good. You have support if he wanna act like a female and ignore you thats on him. You need to hurry and tell your mom before she finds out on her own"

"It's not that easy Kelly. I'm six fucking teen, young as fuck! She's going to be disappointed". She started to sob.

"Want me to come over?" I asked. "No, Jr just left I think he finna come over and get you"

Jr was taking me to the bowling place.

"Ok...I'll come over after bowling and bring some snacks. I love you, get some rest. We'll finish talking about this later"

"Ok princess I love you too..have fun for me". She hung up. I took a breath and stood up, grabbing my black bomber jacket and heading downstairs.

Nick was watching tv and eating a bowl of noodles."Let me get some" I said walking over to him. He huffed."I just knew yo fat self was gone come asking for some"

"Blah blah feed your sister" I opened my mouth for he could put some noodles inside. "There fatty , where you going?" He asked looking me up and down.

"My buisness, yours to mind" I said smirking, swallowing the noodles."all that damn hot sauce"

"Man move" He said waving me away."you making me miss my show"

"Shut up, where Mom?" I asked.

I sighed as my phone began to ring."I'm about to go bowling , I'll bring you back something to eat..then I'm going to Courtney's ight?"

He nodded , focused on the tv.

I looked at my phone already knowing it was jr calling because he was outside. I left out of the house making sure to lock the door behind me.

I hopped into his Mercedes Benz and threw my seatbelt on. "Wassgood brobro?" I asked giving him a dap.

"Man , shit. Just living. Business getting bigger and bigger, when you coming to get that tat?"

My eyes raised in excitement."oh yeah? I can come tomorrow". I my eyebrows dropped once I realized I was going to be broker than broke after today. "How much though?"

"On the house for you Ny, just come whenever tomorrow and I'll tat you up"

I nodded and began biting my not-done nails."aye, I know you not gone like this but, yo moms gotta approve me doing your tattoo Kelly. That's the law since you only 16"

"Damn". I scratched my nose thinking about what he just told me. "Can I ask my grandma?"

I could see a smirk appear on his face."You back talking to her? That's wassup" I nodded and played with my fingers. "Kinda, something like that"

"Well yeah. Have her come sign some papers or whatever tomorrow and you can get inked up". He said stopping at a red light. "What you got in mind?"

"I was thinking about getting my dads name, the day he was born, and the day he died"

He continued to drive as the light turned green. "That's wassup. I feel it"

I smiled , excited for tomorrow.

As I walked into the bowling center I spoke to my grandma on the phone.

"Yes grandma, I'm positive I want the tattoo...it's free and all" I said walking up to the counter. I spotted Warren out with some lightskin girl.

I have the girl my money and held up 5 gingers for my shoe size.

"Ok, love you too, don't forget tomorrow around 1! Bye bye" I hung up and grabbed my shoes, walking over to the alley they were at.

I smiled and waved with my phone in my hand while my other hand held my shoes."hey guys"

Warren smiled and gave me a hug."you made iiittt" he cheesed. I smacked my lips and rolled my eyes.  "Of course"

The girl smiled at me. "Hey , I'm Riley". I smiled back. "Hey girl I'm Kelly I heard a lot about you".  I lied , warren haven't told me 'a lot' about her. Just a little. But I wanted to get him on even better terms with shorty.

She smiled harder."hopefully good things". I furrowed my eyebrows and nodded of course.

I came out of the bathroom and noticed Kelly sitting at our table. I was about to go speak to her fine ass before someone called my name.

"Woowoo?"

I looked over and noticed Jenny."oh, wassup shorty?" I said giving her a hug. She had to get on her tippy toes to wrap her arms around my neck.

She smiled as we pulled away from the hug."woooww, when I called you earlier I was seeing if you wanted to come bowling with me and my friends"

"Oh shit my bad , I was gone call you back but as soon as I got home I fell asleep."

She nodded and looked over at warren and them. "You here with them?" She asked. I nodded.

She looked a little longer. A confused look appeared on her face. "Hey...do you and Kelly have something going?"

That question caught me off guard. I didn't even know the answer to that question to be honest.

"Why? You tryna be my girl or sumn' ?" I asked biting my lip. She blushed. "Maybe". She said

"Oh shit , I see you" I chuckled.

"Wassgood" someone said coming up from behind me. I turned my head and noticed it was Marcus. "Wassup brotha' ". We gave each other daps.

"Shit, nothing, Who this?" He asked referring to Jenny. I smirked. "My little shorty"

Courtney.

I tossed and turned in my sleep. I had horrible cramps and couldn't rest right. "Ugh" I sighed.

I sat up and looked around my dark room. I moved a little in my bed, feelings some wetness between my thighs.

I furrowed my eyebrows because I'm pregnant, so I couldn't be on my period. I grabbed my phone and turned It on for light, I pulled my covers back and shined the light towards my legs.

"Oh my god!" I screamed as tears began falling down my face. "Mom!"

I dropped my phone as the cramps became worse. "Mommy!" I sobbed.

"What Courtney what!?" My Mom screamed running into my room. She flipped the light on and stopped. Her eyes became wide.

Allyssa stood at the door , she had a frightened look on her face.

"Come on Cc, lets get you to the hospital baby"   my mom said.

"What's wrong with me Mom? What's going on?" I asked as I stood up. "Ouch" I groaned in pain.

"Why didn't you tell me C?" She asked.

My heart dropped, I zoned out.

Those five words gave me my answer.

I was having a miscarriage.
