ALESSANDRA

You'd think having to kill for living would scar you, but to me it wasn't the murders that left scars.

It was the betrayal I had face over the years. The worst thing about it, is that it never comes from your enemy.

I walked into the club and straight to the top office where I knew il capo was waiting for me, along with my client.
I kept my mask on the entire time to keep my real identity hidden. Thankfully Romeo didn't ask any questions.

I walked up the stairs and knocked on the door, something I almost never did for anyone else. But this was Sergio Garcia, the underdog to the real boss, who not even I had met. But if he was even half as evil as Sergio then he was a man not to me triffled with.
Romeo stood outside while I walked in, I knew he was cautios of this place.
I mean, I would be too if I had just walked in to the club of one of my biggest enemies in the world.

"Buongiorno signore" I greeted with a bow of my head. The fake respect I had to show to this man was unbelievable and so was my face when I saw the man who was supposed to be my client. Unbelievable.

(Good morning sir)

"Ciao, Mortale. Questo è Sullivan Rousso. L'uomo che ha chiesto i tuoi servizi." he said making me blood run cold.
(Hello, Mortale. This is Sullivan Ruosso. The man who asked for your services).

"Mi scusi se sono maleducato. Ma perché io? I asked, hiding the tremor in my voice.
(Excuse me for being rude. But why me?)

" Well Mortale" il capo said with his thick Italian accent. " he asked for the best, and that is you." I sighed internally, I knew he was lying. Il capo knew exactly what he was doing.

(The boss/leader)

"signore. I will do this service. But it will be my last. I believe the mafia may be onto me" I told him with a grim face. (Sir)
His face darkened with the mention of the Italian mafia and he clenched his fists.

"I understand". Signore said darkly.
"Signore Rousso will tell you the details and you will be paid €5 million for this job. Half of which will come to La Trintiy".

"Piacere di conoscerti Mortale. Questo lavoro richiede di uccidere 2 persone." he said with a smile. I know he didn't recognize me. If he did he would have dragged me out of the room before I could have even bowed to il capo.

(Nice to meet you Mortale. This job requires you to kill 2 people.)

Sullivan Rousso would never allow his daughter to bow. Not even to one of the trinity.

"That's not a problem. Just give me their names and whereabouts and I'll have them by the end of the week." I said with a firm voice. His eyes analyzed me with every steps toward the door we took. I grew self conscious and took bigger steps to get outside.

Romeo was waiting right where I left him as Sullivan told me about the two people.
They were old business associates who turned away from him to pursue money. Sadly they sold out the location of Sullivan's main storage units of weaponry and drugs, now he wanted revenge.
I nodded. I was used to hearing the story of revenge and anger. It was the most common story for my sort of services.

Sullivan had everything planned out for me. Apparently his 2 ex-associates were meeting at a conference centre in Madrid. I had to fly over and wait for them to be alone. Then I would slip through the window of the 3rd floor on the building and take out both of them. It would be clean and easy.

I would then go through the same window and get onto the first plane back to Italy. And of course Romeo would be 3 steps behind me at all times.

"Is there a specific way you'd like them to die?" I asked Sullivan. It sounded really bad at the time but it was what I had to ask. It was almost like a courtesy for using my services instead of the dozens of other assassins the Trinity has to offer.

"Yes. Stab them through their hearts" he said coldly, his once calm face was now morphed into one of anger and hatred. The kind I had never seen before even after years of pissing him off.

I watched his facial expression change again. If was now one of utter sadness, a sadness so deep even I felt bad for the man that had ruined my life. The man that made me what I am. A horrible person, an evil uncaring bitch. And the worst part is that I don't care.

I don't care about myself anymore.

After discussing the plans with Sullivan, I got the tickets to Madrid. One for me and one for Romeo. It was for later that day so we had time to go back to the estate and pack for 3 days.

When we got back I wasn't surprised to hear that Emiliano was waiting for me in his office, I went up immediately not wanting to waste too much time on speaking to him. Now that I had a goal in mind it was really difficult to try and get me to lose focus.
My goal is to get to Madrid and kill Josiah Edwardo and Micah Renzo.

I opened the door to Emiliano's office and walked right in. He was standing in front of his desk leaning on it with his legs and arms crossed as he waited for me.
As soon as I walked in a slight smirk formed on his lips.

"Mr. King" I greeted him smoothly, standing right in front of him.

"Ms. Rivera. ". He mused.

"I'm guessing Romeo told you I'm going to Madrid" I guessed with my arms folded.

"Yes. He did mention it." Emiliano confirmed still looking at me with dark eyes.

"So then why did you call me?" I wondered aloud.

"I feel the need to make sure you know the rules. You know that trying to run away would be a very stupid choice." he warned his eeys watching my every movement.

"I know that, yes" I said as our eyes sized each other up.

"Come here" he demanded and I did. I took a small step forward so we were now pressed against each other.

"You will fly back to Italy as soon as you're finished. Or else" he threatened me his hand pushing against my back, our faces inches a part. I pretended to think about it, taking my time before responding.

"No, I don't think I will".
