A few days has passed by and things between Leo and I are pretty good. We haven't had any arguments and he's kept his word about me going out where I please besides downtown, which is where I used to live. I have no idea if I'm still being searched for or not since it's been months since I've gone missing and the one person that cared about me in this world is now gone, so I have no idea if I'm even a priority anymore for police.

"Are you ready for your appointment today?," Luna claps her hands excitedly. Today I'm a bit over five months. Leo has been so persistent about finding out the baby's gender since I became pregnant and today is the day. We should find out the gender.

"Yeah even though I feel so bloated right now," I let out a breathe barely finishing my lunch.

"You just ate duh. I think you look adorable," Luna grins.

"Madison it's time to go," Leo announces stepping inside the kitchen grabbing my purse he bought me this past weekend when we went to Mexico for a quick business trip.

"See you later," I smile standing up from the chair following behind Leo ready to see my baby.

"Que bonita te miras especialmente con tu pansita," Doctor Rosa says smiling at my belly as Leo and I walk into the room.

"What?," I crease my brows together not at all understanding what the heck just came out of her red lips.

"She said, you look beautiful especially with your tummy," Leo responds helping me sit on the bed. My stomach is now very noticeable. I swear it's weird how pregnancy works. One day you're skinny and the next your belly grows over night.

"Thank you Rosa," I smile.

"This baby is going to be gorgeous with your eyes Madison. I can see it," she excitedly says getting everything ready to perform the ultrasound. Leo and I smile at one another as we glance at Rosa. I'm now laying down on the bed with legs spread wide open as she does her thing. Immediately, the room is filled with my baby's heartbeat that has me pretty emotional. Every time I hear or see my little bean. I fall madly in love. A mother's love is really unique and unconditional.

"How's the baby? Everything okay?," Leo asks as he glances at the monitor.

"Baby is perfectly healthy. Everything is perfect," she responds.

"Can you see the gender?," I decide to ask feeling curious to know what I'm birthing soon.

"Yes ma'am, are you two ready?," she grins. Leo and I look at one another and I can't help, but notice the excitement in his chocolate brown eyes. I would of never thought Leo would be excited to be a father, but I guess for not having any family besides Luna. It's only natural.

"Yes," I murmur intertwining my fingers with Leo's ready to finally hear what our first baby is going to be.

"Congratulations, it's a boy!," Rosa announces as she claps. The expression on Leo's face is priceless. He's completely delighted about the news almost as if this is exactly what he's been wanting from the very beginning. However, for me it didn't really matter as longest my little bean is healthy. Leo leans down shocking me with a sweet wet kiss on my forehead.

"Look at his little wee-wee," Rosa giggles. On the monitor, it clearly shows his baby legs spread open almost as if he's in a sitting position, while his middle part is out for the world to see.

"He's packing like his father," Leo smirks proudly. I roll my eyes playfully at his remark before saying, "Can I have many pictures as you can provide please."

"Of course," Rosa smiles putting everything away then exiting the room, so I can get ready to meet her in the front.

"Damn a boy how crazy," Leo murmurs amusedly.

"Is that what you wanted?"

"Heck yes," he grins.

Leo's pov

After the doctor appointment. I decided to treat Madison out for some yogurt since last night she mentioned how badly she's been craving it.

"Before we leave can I go buy a book?," Madison asks as I throw away our now empty cups.

"Sure, here's some money."

Madison paused for a bit lingering on whether to take the cash or not, but ultimately she does walking into the library that's near by. I watch her every move closely as she walks inside looking for her book. Knowing she'll get pissed at me for going near her not having her damn freedom. I decide to wait outside. Soon she walks out of the building holding her whatever book she just bought looking completely stunning.

I scan every inch of her body admiring my body I get to make mine every night. The body I get to play with in every position as I please. The only body that truly satisfies me. The body that's holding my son.

"You look beautiful babe," I genuinely say seeing her smile lighten up by my compliment.

"Thanks," she coyly responds.

"I texted Luna to gather the red eagles up for our announcement," I steer the subject grabbing her hand in mine noticing other scumbags turn her way.

"Announcement?," she raises a dark brow.

"The baby's gender."

"Oh, wouldn't you rather just keep it between us," Madison croaks not looking so fond about my idea.

"No, It's very important," I truthfully say.

Madison's pov

I frown at his response not sure on how to feel about involving our baby's business to his men. If anything, I feel like this beautiful experience should be kept between him and I. However, Leo never cares about what I want, so I don't bother to protest.

"I'm horny," Leo whispers in my ear breaking me out of my thoughts.

"What? Right now?," I hastily murmur.

We are now inside the mansion walking towards the kitchen. I fix my dress and hair up not wanting anyone to know what we did in the limo. Everyone is seated in the long dining table Luna placed in the kitchen before we arrived. All eyes are on Leo and myself as we walk towards the front of the table.

"Rossi isn't," she responds.

"She's no longer a part of the red eagles for her disloyalty towards me and making false accusations. No one can have any contact with her. You all understand?," Leo mutters to everyone.

Leo has kicked out Rossi from our lives and his mafia. He did exactly what I told him to do giving her a check sparring her life for the sake of her innocent baby. Rossi wasn't at all fond of it after years of dedicating her life into the red eagles and Leo, but she screwed it all up for herself. Everyone nods in agreement to Leo's demand.

"Today we found out our baby's gender," Leo continues having everyone's complete attention on him.

"It's a boy, which confirms my heir to everything including the red eagles," Leo announces proudly looking completely intimidating. I gasp, feeling my heart fall to my stomach. I'm such an idiot to of not thought about this. No wonder he's been so persistent in knowing our baby's gender. It was never because of the excitement of being a first time father, but for the confirmation of the next heir that's going to continue his legacy after he passes or steps down.

I look at everyone who's chanting and cheering Leo on congratulating him on practically his win. I stumble back not wanting any part of this celebration. There's now way I'm going to let my son be a part of this dangerous life. This pathetic mafia of Leo Castillo. Leo is to busy celebrating his victory to notice how distant and upset I am about this entire announcement. I can hardly believe I was so naive. It was only natural for Leo to want a boy to reassure his legacy naming his son, his heir. I'm such a horrible mother for not being smart enough to of seen this coming.

I turn my heel sprinting out of the kitchen and upstairs into my bedroom shutting the door shut locking it. Tears start sliding down my cheeks rapidly as I remember Leo's words cut straight into my heart.

The future that's awaiting my son is horrendous full of violence, blood, drugs, death, and illegal activities. Just thinking of the way Leo was raised by his parents scares me to the core. There's no way I'll allow it, over my dead body. I wipe my fallen tears away immediately knowing what I must do in order to protect and save my son from this dangerous life that his own father wants to give him.

"I will not allow it," I murmur to myself.

"You deserve the very best. You will not pay for my mistakes," I continue on speaking as I rub my stomach before ending my thoughts saying, "I'll make sure of it, I promise baby."

With that said, I know what I must do.
