Madison's pov

"Madison!"

"Almost done!," I shout finishing up the last touches of my makeup. After Leo gave me the envelope proving how far along Rossi is in pregnancy, I must say I'm pretty delighted. Leo mentioned he would deal with her for lying to him and for trying to ruin our marriage. I have no idea what he's even thinking of doing to her. All I hope is he doesn't hurt her after all I don't condone violence especially on pregnant women.

"Dinner is ready," Leo announces opening the door.

"I'm done," I hastily say standing up from the chair walking towards Leo. We both make our way downstairs into the kitchen as a chef places our plates on the dining table. Red candles are lit placed in the middle of the table as the lights in the kitchen suddenly turn dim giving it such a romantic feel.

"Enjoy," the chef smiles exiting the door leaving the kitchen all to ourselves.

"Take a seat," Leo whispers in my ear startling me a bit. I do as he says sitting on the chair meeting gazes with him whom sits right next to me. Our dinner consisted of steak, Spanish rice, fried beans with mozzarella cheese melted on top, and freshly made tortillas on the side with different type of sauces neatly put in little black containers for us to choose from.

"Smells so good," I say sniffing the mouthwatering delicious smell.

"Only the best for my child and you," Leo smiles intently gazing at my little baby bump that somehow managed to grow over night. I can feel my cheeks redden from his strong gaze on me. Averting my eyes away from him. I decide to start digging into my food.

"I'm kicking Rossi out from the red eagles," Leo suddenly informs me taking a sip of his water. I gulp down my chewed up food then glance at him, "isn't the red eagles her entire life? Like her only income?"

"Not my problem. She should of thought of that before messing my honeymoon up," Leo coldly says taking a bite of his rolled up tortilla. I take a moment to think about Rossi's situation and can't help, but feel sympathy for the woman, "Leo, as much as I really dislike her. The baby growing inside of her is innocent and doesn't deserve to starve over his/her's mother's mistakes," I sigh.

"How can you sympathize for her after all the shit she's done to you?," Leo raises a brow.

"I'm only thinking about her baby," I truthfully say.

"I admire you in many ways you know that?," He profoundly says.

"So what are you going to do?," I ask hiding the smile that's desperately trying to present itself.

"I would kill her simple as that, but what do you suggest?," Leo blankly says. I roll my eyes at his remark, "just give her a check enough to keep her well until she gets a job or something," I shrug my shoulders.

"Fine," he nods taking a bite of his steak.

"Talking about jobs. I was thinking about getting a job you know? A legal one," I nervously mumble. Leo's whole expression darkens as he looks at me as if I just said the most stupidest thing in the world.

"No," he blandly says.

"I'm tired of being locked in your home. I want to do something productive and have a routine at least," I mutter.

"You already have a routine and that is be a housewife."

"Leo," I snap.

"If you want to be out of the house. I can arrange something for you just tell me Madison. Perhaps, shopping at the mall?," he suggests.

"You're so controlling," I cross my arms across my sore breasts like a toddler who didn't get their way.

"Not my fault last time I actually had you out. You tried to runaway from me," Leo mutters.

"Right, that horrible night you killed my only friend in front of me," I slam my glass of water down on the table causing the water to splutter out. Leo glances at the spilled water then at me narrowing his eyes with a disapproving expression, "she would be alive if you didn't do that."

The nerve of him.

"I wouldn't of ran away if you were man enough to win me over like a normal man instead of kidnapping and locking me up," I hiss. Leo abruptly stands up sending the chair flying back as it tumbles down as he grabs his glass cup sending it flying over my head hitting the wall. Shattered glass is spluttered all over the tile floor.

"Get out of my face before I do something I'll regret," he viciously warns as his eyes are completely dark looking almost black. Without saying a word, I stand up walking towards the staircase.

"This dinner was suppose to be perfect, but I have an ungrateful little bitch as a wife," he mutters. I don't even bother turning around nor responding to his remark. I power walk upstairs into my bedroom shutting the door shut. Once I took my dress off and wiped my makeup off. I slid under the covers ready to call it a night. The door opens soon after, but I don't acknowledge it as I keep my eyes shut focused on falling asleep.

"Madison?"

I don't respond.

"I know you're awake," Leo murmurs.

"I'm tired. Leave me alone," I huff annoyedly.

"I'm sorry about what happened in the kitchen," he softly says.

"Same," I coldly say.

"Please look at me," Leo sighs.

"Leo, I'm tired," I huff annoyedly.

"It'll be quick."

"What?," I breathe tiredly turning around fluttering my eyes open to meet his chocolate brown eyes. Guilt is plastered across his face.

"I'm sorry for getting angry, raising my voice at you, and for calling you a bitch," Leo murmurs looking sincere behind his apology.

"It's not like I didn't push your buttons. It's just my hormones and well I just want a bit of freedom Leo," I breathe admitting my wrongs and truth.

"I'm willing to compromise if you promise me one thing?," Leo coaxes.

"What?"

"Promise me you won't runaway from me," he calmly  says. I take the moment to examine him as he looks directly at me. He looks to be battling with himself about this deal he's making with me almost as if he's scared to be doing the wrong thing. I mean I don't blame him at all for being nervous about me trying to escape the moment I get the chance to since I've practically traumatized him before with that. The shocking part of it all is that he's willing for the first time ever to compromise with me.

"I promise," I softly reply.

"Okay, you'll be able to go out wherever and whenever you want as longest one of my men is around just for my sanity of knowing you're safe. However, I don't want you to work. As longest I'm providing for you and the baby you're set for life," Leo firmly says.

"I don't want this bodyguard of yours so close to me okay and I'm not sure if I'm okay with illegal money to be honest."

"He'll keep his distance I assure you," Leo reassures ignoring my remark about the illegal money. However, I don't bring it up not wanting to drag another argument due to feeling really sleepy suddenly. Pregnancy I tell you.

"Thanks," I smile.

"Now let's go to sleep," Leo smoothly says taking his clothes off only leaving his briefs on as he gets under the covers with me. His body is cuddled right next to me wrapping his arm around my waist pulling me in. Never did I think from the first day I was held hostage here by Leo. I would later be married, pregnant, and sharing a bedroom with him cuddling every night like two normal married couple.

And to be honest, I'm starting to really like it.
