Leo's pov

"Got you didn't I whore? Now go cry a river pathetic," Rossi chuckles making fun of Madison by mimicking a crying face expression.

I feel uncontrollable anger seeing Rossi stomp on Madison who's standing like a zombie right now not sticking up for herself. Rossi has always felt like I belong to her in some way, which angers me since I don't belong to anyone to begin with. The only reason I've put up with her is because she brings me more money than the other females in the gang, but boy is her death so overdue.

"That's it," I shout no longer wanting her to make a fool out of Madison, so I snatch Rossi's red hair. Rossi winces in pain pleading for me to let go off her.

"You should be doing this to her for talking the way she did to you not me what the fuck is wrong with you lately?," Rossi exclaims.

"I'm your boss. Shut the fuck up before I put a bullet in your head in front of everyone. Don't test me," I scold tugging her hair harder.

"Madison!," Luna shouts in a terrified tone. I immediately turn around seeing Madison's emerald green eyes roll to the back of her head as her body wobbles. Her knees giving out on her. I let go of Rossi's hair pushing her down to the ground like trash, she is. Trying my hardest to reach out to Madison before she tumbles down completely wasn't enough since I was too late. Instead, I watch her fall helplessly down to the concrete her head hitting the ground quite roughly.

Everyone gasps and some scream at the horrific scene in front of them. I crouch down holding Madison in my arms desperately shaking her to wake up. Blood is gushing out of her cut on her forehead from the rough impact it had from the concrete. A huge bump making itself visible within seconds.

"Oh my god! No no no," Luna screams in horror.

"Rios! Call the ambulance now," I shout my eyes glued to Madison unconscious body.

"Leo, you'll only bring attention into our world," Rios responds his brows creasing together.

"I don't care!"

"Leo," Diaz utters. All I care about is Madison being okay nothing else matters to me right now. She's my only priority.

"I got the car started let's take her to our doctor now," Montoya announces. I immediately pick up Madison and carry her bridal style into the car getting inside with her. Having a unconscious Madison in my arms only reminds me of that one time. I had my only buddy in life, which was my dog Saul when he died from cancer. Saul was my best friend, my only friend actually. He was the only one that was kind to me and always comforted me every time I was beaten down by my parents.

The day I lost him at thirteen years old. I completely lost my companion. I remember I cried for days even weeks for Saul causing my father to call me a sissy and even won more beat downs by him. But I didn't care pain was something I was becoming numb to anyways. All I knew is my world became completely dark from that day forward.

"Please be okay Madison," I whisper pulling her up towards my face laying a soft desperate kiss on her cheek.

Madison's pov

Beep Beep Beep

That's the sound I keep hearing over and over again quickly becoming annoyed by it. My eyelids slowly flutter open seeing nothing, but bright lights. I squint my eyes trying to adjust to the overbearing light. My vision finally adjusts realizing I'm laying on a bed in a room. All kinds of wires are inserted into my arm and hand.

"Madison"

A familiar deep croaky voice says getting my full attention. Surprisingly, it's Leo who's sitting on a chair in the far corner intently staring at me with ease. "How are you feeling?," he worriedly asks standing up from the chair walking towards my bed.

"My head hurts a lot. W-what happened?," I croak feeling a huge bump on my forehead.

"Don't touch," Leo hastily says grabbing my hand gently putting it down on the bed.

"Why am I here?"

"You fainted," Leo rhetorically responds his hand still intertwined with mine.

"Madison, you're awake," Luna utters a huge grin on her face.

"Be careful," Leo warns seeing Luna run forward to hug me. Luna raises a brow at him for a second then averts her attention back to me carefully embracing me in hug.

"I'm going to go get you some food that's probably why you passed out. These couple of days you haven't been eating well. I've been noticing Madison," Luna crosses her arms across her chest giving me an angry look.

"And you didn't alert me Luna?," Leo clenches his jaw.

"Excuse me cousin, I didn't know you actually cared about my best friend until I saw you panic today," Luna spat.

"You panicked because of me?," I murmur confusedly. Leo glances at me then at Luna not saying a word instead he squints his chocolate brown eyes at her hinting her to shut up.

Knock Knock

"Hello I'm Doctor Aldrich," a short light skinned brunette says barging inside the room. She looks to be around her mid thirties.

"Hi," I mumble.

"Why did she faint?," Leo bluntly asks getting straight to the point.

"I need to speak to Madison alone with all do respect Mr. Castillo," Doctor Aldrich nervously says.

"Come on Leo," Luna says a strained look on her face.

"You work for me don't you forget, so no I ain't going anywhere. What you have to say to her you can say to me as well," Leo grumbles crossing his muscular arms across his chest glaring at her. Not wanting any drama nor for anyone to get hurt since Leo is a dangerous man I intervene.

"It's okay." Doctor Aldrich looks at me with such pity before glancing down on her clipboard.

"You're pregnant."
