Liam's POV:

It's been almost a month since Blake has become my teacher, and I have to say that I like having him a lot. Both teacher Blake and friend Blake were entertaining to be near and spend time with. I was even comfortable having over Madeline and Dimitri (who also became my friends).

Now, however, it was only me and Blake at home. Ma and Papa were both working late on this Friday night, so Blake offered to stay over as usual. It was nearing sunset and we were sitting at the island thinking about something we could do. He was dressed in sweatpants and a shirt, having changed out of his teacher outfit a few hours ago. We were almost dressed like twins.

The thought made me giggle, catching Blake's attention even though I tried to mask it.

"What's so funny?" He asked with a smirk. I blushed as I shook my head rapidly. He didn't need to know my silly thoughts.

"Oh really?" He asked deviously, making my eyes widen. If I didn't give him an answer, he would tickle it out of me, and I despised being tickled.

Blake held up a hand, silently counting down from five on his fingers. I thought about my options; either I could run and avoid my tickling, or I could just take the tickling like a man, or I could just tell him what I was thinking. The answer was pretty obvious.

"I was thinking that we dressed like twins!" I called out right before he reached one. My face felt like an erupted volcano as Blake laughed at me.

"I guess we do." He said after he calmed down. I stuck my tongue out at him before looking back down at the island as he chuckled again.

"I have a few ideas for something we can do in the next few hours." Blake said after a few silent minutes.

                "W-what are they?"

"I can't say yet; just know that it has to do with balloons. Unfortunately, I have to leave to go buy the items."

I frowned as I glanced at Blake warily. He was looking at me expectantly, letting me know exactly what was on his mind. Ever since the first few weeks, Blake has been trying to get me out of the house. I've managed to decline every attempt, but right now he was using doe like puppy dog eyes that I found really hard to say no to.

                "Blake..."

"Please, Liam? I promise I won't leave your side and we're not going anywhere crowded."

"W-where are we going?" I asked, nervously clenching my hands into fists.

"Party City. I just have to pick up a few- Wait. You said 'we.' You're coming?" He asked happily as he stood from the stool. I nodded even though I was already feeling the anxiety creep up my spine, and we haven't even left the house yet. Without realizing that he had moved, Blake came around the island to hug me. Instantly, I tensed. However, I relaxed as the anxiety crept away. He always managed to calm me down with his hugs. They were the best.

"Come on, then. We can leave now and be back in twenty minutes." He voiced as he released me. I nodded before running upstairs to grab a pair of shoes. When I got back down, Blake was waiting for me by the door. Before leaving, I grabbed my house key, grateful that Ma had given me one in the first place.

I followed behind Blake as he led us to his car. He held the passenger door open for me, causing my face to erupt in flames. Once I was seated, he closed the door and then ran around the car to his side. He got in, making sure to buckle himself in before pulling away from the house.

I nervously tapped my fingers on the door of the car, watching as houses, cars, and people blurred as Blake drove down the street. Cracking the window, I let the wind blow through my hair. Surprisingly, I was pretty relaxed since there was only me and Blake in the vehicle.

However, minutes later, he was parking in front of a large building that had the words "Party City" at the top of it in multiple colors. I nervously unbuckled my seat belt as Blake shut off the car. Taking in calming breaths, I opened my door and waited for Blake to lead the way. Instead of having him walk beside me, I walked behind him, gripping onto his shirt much like I would to Papa.

We walked into the building, instantly feeling the blast of the AC as the automatic doors closed behind us. I took my time taking in my surroundings, noting how there were few people. Thank God.

"Keep a look out for balloons, glow in the dark sticks, and chocolate." Blake stated, catching my attention. I nodded, although he couldn't see me. As we walked through each aisle, my eyes scanned all the shelves, seeing the many different decorations, candies, and costumes.

A few seconds later, Blake stopped suddenly, causing me to crash into his back. I mumbled a quick apology, but he just waved it off as he looked at the different boxes in front of him. I peeked around him to see that we were looking at different sizes of helium tanks. Before I could question why, Blake picked up a box with a small tank.

He pushed it in front of him as we continued to walk around the store, my hands still gripping his shirt. Again, we stopped, this time for white and clear balloons. It continued like that until we made it to the register where the chocolate was. So far, we had helium, balloons, and glow sticks.

"B-Blake, what are we doing with this stuff?" I asked hm as we waited in line. Blake turned to face me with a grin.

"We're going to have some fun." He replied evasively, making me pout. "You're cute when you pout." He continued with a wink. Cue the volcano.

                "H-hush!"

Blake laughed as we walked up to the register, seeing that it was now our turn. He grabbed a few chocolates, adding it to the pile of stuff. The boy behind the register looked at me since I was no longer standing behind Blake.

He was dark skinned, standing at a little less than six feet with brown eyes and a shaved head. His name tag told me that his name was Jacobey and he smelled like an owl.

"That will be seventy dollars and twenty-five cents." He told Blake in a voice that was as smooth as silk. I found myself blushing due to my train of thoughts. My blush definitely caught his attention.

"What's your name?" Jacobey asked me kindly. I gripped Blake's shirt again as I fumbled with the things on the counter.

"L-Liam." I replied softly, moving into Blake's side.

"Well, you're very cute, Liam." Jacobey complimented, causing my cheeks to darken even more. Before I could respond, Blake growled lowly beside me. I glanced at him to see that his lip was pulled back as he glared at Jacobey, causing the owl to jump in fright. I tensed.

"How about you stop flirting with him and do your job!" Blake stated angrily as he threw down the cash. Even though he was mad, for whatever reason, it was still rude of him to put the money on the counter. Papa told me that it was disrespectful.

"That is very rude, Blake." I told him, catching his attention. He raised an angry, questioning eyebrow at me as I pointed to the money.

"Papa said you should always put the money in the cashier's hand." I answered his silent question. Blake's glare dropped as he sighed before shaking his head. He turned back to Jacobey, who was looking at me in shock, before picking up the money and putting it into his hand.

"Sorry." Blake apologized, making me grin as I buried my heated face into his side.

"I'm sorry too." I heard Jacobey say. "I didn't know he was your boyfriend."

I tensed before taking my face out of Blake's side. Before I could correct Jacobey and tell him that Blake wasn't my boyfriend, he spoke.

"That's okay. Sometimes it's hard to believe that he even gives me the time of the day." Blake replied before wrapping an arm around my shoulders. I swear my face was melting by the way my blush had intensified. A sound I've never heard before sounded in my throat as I put my face back into his side.

Why would he even say such a thing?

I ignored the conversation between the owl and lion going on, too occupied with my thoughts. Did this mean that Blake liked me, or was he just trying to get Jacobey off my back?

Yeah, that had to be it. There was no way Blake could like me. The thought made me sad, but I shrugged it off. It was something I had come to a conclusion to in the past almost month.

"Yeah, he is a beauty." I tuned back into the conversation, catching Blake's last statement before we walked away with our items in bags. Blake carried the helium tank as I carried the balloons, glow sticks, and chocolate. Using his key, he opened the trunk, placing the tank into it as I sat in the passenger's seat. I buckled up just as Blake entered the car on his side.

"Sorry about that, Liam. I know how uncomfortable with people you are and I didn't want him hitting on you heavily." He said as he started the car. I nodded as my blush reappeared. I knew it.

Instead of talking, I looked out the window, watching as the world blurred again. We were back home in no time and I hurriedly opened the door so that we could get in. The house was as dark as we had left it, meaning Ma nor Papa had arrived yet.

Blake carried the tank into the kitchen with me following behind him.

"W-what now?" I asked as Blake looked around the kitchen. He grinned as his eyes landed on my face. I was looking at his nose.

"Now, we make chocolate bowls." He replied as he took the bag from my hand. I looked at him questioningly as he took out the balloons and chocolate.

"Can you get a baking sheet, cookie pan, and a pot?" I nodded before grabbing said items. He handed me the chocolate before instructing me to put it into a bowl. I did as he put some water into a pot before placing it onto the now lit stove.

"Would you like to blow up the balloons or stir the chocolate until it melts?"

                "C-chocolate!"

Blake nodded before taking the bowl from me and placing it into the steaming pot. I took out a rubber spatula and stood over the chocolate as he moved to the island and started blowing up some balloons. As I stirred the melting chocolate, I glanced over to see that the balloons weren't completely round like usual. They were kind of long, like a baseball bat.

Blake caught my eyes, winking at me and causing me to hurriedly turn back to the stove with reddening cheeks. I wish he wouldn't do that.

I turned off the stove once the chocolate was completely melted. Carrying the pot over to Blake, I set it on a wet cloth on the island so that there wouldn't be any damage. Blake took the cookie pan and covered it with a baking sheet before placing it between us. He handed me a few balloons, causing me to look at him in confusion.

"We have to dip it into the chocolate once it cools. Make sure you cover most of the bottom with it and make it look like a bowl. After, place the covered balloon on the pan." He explained. I nodded with a smile before getting down to business. That's a funny phrase.

Blake and I made bowls until there wasn't enough chocolate to make more. We had to use a second pan, but that was okay. Once done, we put the pans into the freezer so that the chocolate could harden. As Blake closed the fridge, I licked the remaining chocolate out of the bowl.

I licked until the bowl was clean and the chocolate was all over my face. Blake turned to face me in shock before he burst into laughter. I blushed as I tried to clean off my sticky face. He grabbed a different wet cloth before coming over to clean me off.

I avoided eye contact as he lifted my chin and wiped off my forehead, cheeks, and nose.

"You're a messy one." He teased. I licked my lips to clear the chocolate from them, making Blake's eyes snap down to watch the movement.

Before I could reply to him about his teasing, he moved in and softly connected our lips together.

Oh my...
