The two giants started to feel their consciousness wake. A surprised scientist witnessing the whole event.

"Sir! They're awake!" He shouted.

With a sharp turn of head, Johnson strayed towards the railing to look down at the two raging monsters. They growled in deep and aggressive roars and clicks and lifted their beefy wrists, but was unfortunately prevented by a thick metal cuff. The same goes for their legs. With another growl, the larger one spat a rather intimidating snarl, causing the personnel around it to step back for safety.

Johnson made his way to the feral one, "what kind of an abomination are you?" He asked as he curiously walked around its figure.

He got no answer but a frowning reptile face. The creature made a sound closely resembling a snort, turning its head towards the smaller one and making a series of nonstop clicks which was also imitated by the other. Were they laughing?

The man eyed Hudson, he gestured something which made the scientist tremble.

_____

Simon and the others looked at the rolling object, it was round in shape and was covered in brown and messy hair-like strings.

As they closely inspected it, what else could it have been but a human body part... a human head... Malory's head.

Pure trauma was plastered onto her decapitated head, her bloodshot eyes wide as day, the skin had scratches that destroyed her once beautiful face. The instant reaction was a scream of discomfort as they all tumbled down on the ground while watching the severed head.

"W-what... the fuck!" The impatient security yelled.

One of the other researchers cried, "this can't be happening man! This shit ain't happening!" He grumbled while on his knees.

"M-Malory?!" Another voiced out.

"We have to leave now!" The calmer security personnel yelled.

The rest jumped up onto their feet and made a run towards the vehicles. Before they could reach in time, one researcher was pulled by an invisible matter. Her body was lifted up high and in a matter of a few seconds, her body was impaled with a sharp weapon. The scientist made a bloody mess, blood spraying from all direction and also towards her killer who slowly became outlined with red.

The group, again, stopped and faced the murderer but only to be greeted by another who stealthily landed on top of the jeep. Another one appeared on the left of the killer and then one on the right. Four. Two silently walked around towards the two remaining vehicles, a cylindrical gadget started to move around on their right shoulder, pointing at their possible prey but did no action next.

Another one of them appeared from the dense vegetation, holding a spine that was still connected to a long-dead Santos' head. The coward security yelped seeing his captain in that form. Horrifying was his very face.

Seven. Seven tall and bulky creatures now surrounded the remaining seven smaller, and fragile, creatures. The number was even until one other emerged. This one, however, was preoccupied with carrying a limp and unconscious body of a creature, well known as Sahara. She was slung like a bag onto its right shoulder.

Simon's breath hitched a bit as he recognized the dark-skinned woman on the beast's shoulder. At least she survived that attack.

The other seven predators started to herd the group together, wrist blades extending from their sheaths. A blood bath was about to happen. One of the guards fired a full load of bullets towards one, successfully grazing it on its arms and legs revealing a green, glowing substance in the process.

Simon's eyes widened, the liquid they were looking for was these creatures' blood. He looked up at the one covered in human blood, it was slowly pacing towards him.

The other predators glanced at the injured one, giving out clicks of laughter. A worthy opponent, a worthy trophy. The injured predator extended its wrist blades, and with a swift move of his weapon, the brave guard was slashed on his front. Blood and entrails started to gush out from his body, he tried to cover up his large wound, stuffing back his intestines. The man let out an indefinable moan as he drops to the ground, still putting back his innards.

"God no! Please!" The female researcher pleaded.

She was picked up by one of them by the neck. The woman began to choke, and to her discomfort, started to scratch the creature's partially gloved hand. After a few seconds of constant pain, the woman's arms flailed down beside her, body stopping to move and screams halting to silence.

Two of the researchers had the same fate of being punctured by combisticks as Jean. Only three of the expedition team remains, excluding Sahara who was greatly unconscious.

Simon stood up, facing the big and bloody beast that now loomed hugely in front of him. An eerie silence erupted between them. The huge figure not even raising an arm. The canon on its broad shoulder activated and three dots aimed at his forehead, then making their way down to his chest.

"C' mon big guy!" Simon screamed at the monster's face.

With a grunting noise, the predator released a plasma that pierced right through Simon's chest. Simon unleashed a hurt expression, clenching his eyelids shut, taking in the pain from his absent chest. He fell like a tree that was newly cut down, stiff and dead.

"Oh shit!" The craven guard exclaimed. He crawled away from the predators, leaving behind his weapon and the last remaining researcher to die.

"Wait! No don't lea-," the last researcher was stopped midway. A plasma of laser had evaporated him into nothing but a corpse.

The guard screamed, further irritating the giants that had murdered everyone. Finally making it to the trailer, he tried to wedge the door open but was kicked on his left side which sent him to tumble like a tumbleweed.

"P-please d-don't!" He pleaded, but these hunters were merciless. The one the pursued him reached for his throat, squeezing it to the point that his throat itself had come out leaving a gush of blood.

_____

The young hunters were pleased with their work. They have defeated an unknown species in under a day. Now the camp of their former prey had become their temporary shelter, they made sure to let any other creatures know that the area was their territory.

"Well, that was easy!" A joyous youngling cheered as he carved out a piece of flesh from his victim.

They made sure to separate all the weak from the courageous, with the weak people flayed due to their unworthy skills and honor to be called a satisfying trophy. While the ones who stood up, namely; Simon, Santos, the brave guards, and Malory were polished to precious ivory skulls as honorable displays. The rest were hung, their insides exposed to the harsh, volcanic climate of the warm planet.

One clicked, the oldest and probably the leader of the group, "our patriarch will be disappointed if we present him with these useless trophies!" He growled lowly.

The young creature frowned behind his short mandibles, looking at the other hunters. While his scanning of the camp ended, his eyes landed on the thing that was slung on the other hunter's shoulder. It was one of those creatures, but why is it alive? His helmet is not malfunctioning the last time he checked, so why could he still see the warmth of its body?

"Agnak-tör! Why is it still alive?!" He demanded.

The said predator turned his mask towards his large hunting partner. "I want to know more about them, so I shall present it to our patriarch," he said with calmness brewing in his tone.

_____

The largest predator walked over, standing tall towards Agnak-tör in order to intimidate him further. He reached for the creature that had the same body structure as them, mostly feminine though. His hand wrapping in a gentle manner around Sahara's small neck so as not to accidentally break it, tilting her head side to side to further inspect her. The leader investigated further, lifting her up which gained him a small flinch from the creature.

He looked at her face, her eyes were still shut. He proceeded. This creature closely resembled that of a creature he once was briefed with by his older, more experienced siblings. Although he wasn't sure what it really was. However, at least he has some knowledge of this creature in hand more than his hunting party. A female. Probably a young adult due to her skin's elasticity, pretty healthy from what he could see. The name of her species is forgotten in his memories, but he was sure that it was foul sounding.

"Gra'vios!" His head shot at the call of his name.

Agnak-tör was clearly not impressed by his examination. Gra'vios huffed and let the woman fall to the dirt, he clearly was just wasting his time with the thing. As Gra'vios turned around, the creature lying flat on the ground moaned which caught all of their attention. The sleeping bag of flesh moved, she then lifted her head up only to come face to face with her worst nightmare.
