I get inside of my car, and grab a old t-shirt to wipe off my paint covered hands.

"I like that guy. He's a genius for covering your car in spray paint," Asher chuckles, going on about how funny this situation is.

Maybe I should pour pink hair dye into his shampoo bottles....

Bet Ash won't be laughters then.

"Shut up, Ash, it's not funny, because now I have to waste time and money at a car wash!" I bang my head on my steering wheel. This day can't get any worse.

"Don't be psycho about it, jeez," Asher responds in an exasperated tone of voice, one that makes me want to punch him.

After I drove my car through a car wash four times, I drive us home. Asher still won't stop laughing about my car.

I personally don't get the big deal. It wasn't funny, Ash must be high or something.

I walk in and see my mom wearing her nurse scrubs. My mom was an nurse and loved helping people out. That's why she insisted on keeping her common job even when Dad is making enough to support us all.

"Hey sweetie. How was-!" She stops. "Did you sign up for art this year?" She walks towards me with her eyebrows knitted together.

I look at her like she's crazy. She knows damn well I suck at art. I took art in junior high and made a clay horse. When I gave it to mom on Mother's Day she told me it was a nice crab. Like what the hell? A crab and a horse look nothing alike!

I may be trash at art, but that doesn't stop me from trying to draw things I can't. It's a skill I wish to achieve before I'm thirty.

"No why?"

She brushes her thumb across my cheek, showing me her thumb, and it's covered in crumbly dried, red paint.

Ace you mother fucker!

I sigh shaking my head. "I don't know where that's from, mama."

"Hmm....Well go change into something nice. I invited my new friend and her family over for dinner." Mom bounces on the balls of her feet like a little kid on Christmas morning.

"Aww mom, I'm proud of you for making friends!" I tease her while she glares.

"Oh hush up, Harley."

I run up stairs only to find Asher snooping through the drawers of my nightstand.

"Asher Valentine, what the hell do you think your doing?" I block the door with my hands on my hips.

The little snake thinks he can just slither in here without getting caught!? He's lucky Mom won't let me buy a taser gun.

He freezes in his tracks, gives me a timid smile before shooting off like a bullet. I stop him by grabbing his shirt and see he's holding my iPhone charger.

"Asher, stop stealing my shit!" I snatch the charger from his hand and kick his small butt.

"Hey you fucking—-"

"Stop swearing in this Christian household!" Our mom yells from down stairs.

I slam my door shut and shift through clothes in my closet. I picked out a sun dress covered in pineapples, from Dolce & Gabbana.

(A/N- This is literally an Amazon dress)

The door bell rings and my mom calls out, "Harlow please answer the door."

I run to the door, put a smile on my face, opening the door. My smile immediately drops.

Ace fucking King, his mom and dad stand at the door with a dishes of food in their hands. Ace's eyes go wide as he sees me, then his lips pull into a sly smirk.

"Hey princess, you look nice." I shake out of my daze and ignore him. I smile up at his parents. "Hello. I'm Harlow, it's nice to meet you."

They shake my hand. "I'm Karen. This is my husband, Bob and my two kids Ace and Lola." She gestures to her family.

Wow, what a family.

I smile down at the girl who is Ace's sister. She looks to be around three or four. She has the same green eyes as Ace, but is lighter skinned and has blonde hair like her mom.

Lola looks up at me. "You're really pretty, Harlow." I grin at the cute little girl.

I was about to thank her, but Ace beats me to it. "Eh....She's okay." He shrugs while Karen slaps him in the back of the head.

Karen, I think me and you are going to get along just fine...

I lock the door behind them while my mom chats with Karen.

I walk to the kitchen and take out glass plates. "I didn't know your dad was Jay Valentine?" A voice sounds behind me making me jump and drop a plate. Luckily an olive colored hand catches the plate before it hits the floor.

"You should be more careful, Princess." I turn around to see Ace in front of me. He towers over my 5'1 height.

I scowl at him before turning around and carrying plates to the table. Our dining room consisted of a huge grand table with a beautiful diamond chandelier over it.

"Aww don't be like that, Princess. You know I was just playing around when I did that to your car." He says.

I glare at him and slap his arm when I walk by.

"Ouch!" He yelps.

"Okay...Okay. I'm sorry for doing that to your car, Harlow." He apologizes making me stop and do a double take.

He apologized?

He gives me a slight smile. I sigh slumping my shoulders. "Fine. You're forgiven."

"Yay, Praise the Lord!" He smirks at me, putting his right hand over his heart. "I promise, I will not prank you anymore." He adds and offers his hand to shake.

I nod and take it. "Let's start over. Hello, I'm Harlow."

"Hello Harlow. I'm Ace."

"Ready to eat?" My mom calls out.

Everyone makes their way to the dinner table and makes their plates. Mom made steak, ham, green beans, sweet potatoes, mac and cheese and apple pie. And of course our guest brought corn bread, cheesecake, and a small bowl of lentil soup.

Once the guests leave, I help my mom clean up. "So did you know Ace, Har?" Mom asks while she scrubs the table clean, bubbles forming on the surface.

"Y- yes I did. He's in multiple classes I have." I'm caught off guard with her question.

"Cool." She says simply.

"Babe, have you seen my Adidas sweat pants?" Dad walks in with Asher by his side.

"Yea. By the couch." They exchange a kiss.

"EWW!" Asher and I say in unison.

"Oh hush up kids." Dad glares at us.

All of a sudden I feel a pinch on my arm and yelp.

"Ouch! Asher!" I pinch him back.

"Stop touching me!"

"You started it!"

"I did not!" I retort.

"Yeah you did." He pushes me, causing me to slip on the floor. I grab him, yanking him down with me.

"Ow! Mom, Harlow pushed me!"

"I did not!"

"Did to!"

"Did not!"

"Did t—-"

"ENOUGH!" Mom takes off both her flip flops and throws them at us. Dad just stands there laughing at her.

I walk in my room and change for bed.  I sit at my desk and start up my MacBook. I search up 'Good ways to prank people' because i'm still going to get Ace back.

He messed with the wrong person! Looks like tomorrow he will have Locker complications.
