"Oh, hey Sunhee." I knew god hated me. "I was just coming to get you for dinner."

Before anything else, the man in front of me deserved to be, excuse my language but, eye fucked. Sometimes I wonder, how can he look so good without even trying? Because I have never seen a man looking this good in a plain shirt and pants. Hair falling in front of his eyes, two undone buttons, rolled up sleeves, and that sexy Rolex on his wrist. He wasn't even trying, yet he looked like the sexiest man ever alive.

I gulped and looked away from him, god thing I don't have a magic wand otherwise I would be embarrassed more than I'm right now.

"Oh, were you?" I squeaked, surprising how my voice came out. I cleared my throat, embarrassment filled my body. "I mean, why didn't you have your dinner yet?" I asked as I walked out of the elevator.

"How could I eat when you're— I was busy with some work. The lack of Ms. Park increased my workload." I knew what he was going to say, once again I felt my cheeks getting warm.

"Why didn't Ms. Park come with you?" I tried to divert the conversation.

"She's sick."

The awkward silence filled us as we walked to the restaurant. He didn't start a conversation, nor did I.

Funny how I wanted to talk to him and clear all the mixed signals I received. But now, I have a chance to utter a single word.

"Here." He spoke to me only when reached the table. He pulled the seat for me, and let me sit first, then sat in front of me.

"Thank you."

"Don't mention it."

What the fuck. It's not like us, it's not like Sam Sunhee and Kim Seokjin. We don't do this thank you and don't mention it. We don't avoid each other, at least I don't avoid him at all. It's all my fault, only if I hadn't drunk this much exotic wine and got drunk, tried to kiss him, and threw up with him we would be like we used to be. I don't like what we are doing right now.

"What would you like to have?"

"Huh?" I snapped from my thoughts and looked at Seokjin and the waitress who was standing beside him.

It took me a solid thirty business seconds to understand what he said.

"Oh. Oh yeah." I opened the menu and ducked my head into it to hide my face. While hiding my humiliation I tried to read the dishes' names but I couldn't even understand what they meant. "I will have whatever you're taking." I closed the menu and put it aside, looking anywhere but at him.

"Une Ratatouille, un steak au poivre, deux Chicken Blanquette, un Château Mouton Rothschild et Tarte ganache chocolat aux fraises rôties après le plat principal." He gave our menu to the waitress who walked away after noting down whatever he said.

"So…" I trailed down. "Any idea how I woke up in the bathtub?" I knew I was digging up my own grave because soon I was going to die from sheer humiliation.

Here lies Sam Sunhee, who died from humiliation and embarrassment in front of her crush. She wanted to be brave and sum up the mess she made but end up dying. The moral of the story is don't be like her.

"Any idea how much Zara's limited edition homewear costs?" I gulped. Fuck. But also happy fuck because this is the Jin I was hoping to get back.

"No?" I shrugged my shoulders. "Why did you ask?" I pretended that I didn't remember anything.

"Because someone threw their guts out on my Zara limited edition homewear." I almost winced when I heard him.

"Oh… that's why there was like on my t-shirt." I cringed. "That's all?" I purposely poked him.

"That's all? You ask that's all after— after throwing up on me." Seokjin hissed.

"Well yeah, I tend to do absurd things when I'm drunk. For example, doing a prank call on a random number." He stared at me, probably choosing every word carefully.

"Nothing, yeah you whined when I didn't let you drink more but after doing your stunt, you passed out after that." He looked away from me. The conversation ended there, he didn't want to bring it out then I was not going to push his buttons.

"And instead of cleaning me up like a gentleman, you dumped me in the bathtub." I shook my head.

"I did what I felt was the best. I would rather leave you in the bathroom to wake up on your own than 'clean you up' when you're unconscious. That's not a gentleman at all, I don't why movies portray this shit." His attention diverted from me to the waitress who came with our food, whereas my eyes never left him. Butterflies erupted in my stomach, I felt gushy.

He had a point, but either way, I was fine, this one was just better.

Not only is he sexy but he's respectful too.

"What are you looking at?" He snapped in front of me, halting my train of thought.

"Huh?" I looked around, the waitress was gone, leaving the appetizing food behind. My eyebrows creased when I saw how different our dishes were— well one was the same while the other wasn't, he had steak for himself while… I was having…

"Didn't I say I will have the same as you? I think they made some mistake."

"No, I ordered ratatouille for you." He said while cutting his steak in bite sizes.

"Why—"

"When you were drunk you cried over how happy you're to be in Paris because you wanted to meet Remy and eat his special ratatouille. So I ordered Ratatouille for you, and steak for myself and we both didn't have proper food for hours I ordered the other main dish. Don't worry, that one is the same." I blushed from embarrassment, I picked up my form ignoring the hammering in my chest.

"So…" I trailed on, eating in awkward silence wasn't my thing and since this was our first time eating together, I didn't want this to end silently. "I heard the news."

"What news?"

"About JinHit suing Steve Kang and filing a complaint against him."

"Yeah, that fucker deserved it."

"Oh, he did." I agreed.

"So sad, I wanted to sue 3second too but I couldn't since it would negatively affect your career."

"You love to sue don't you?" I asked, smiling widely knowing that he cared about me, even about the smallest things, whether it was my career or my drunk babbling.

"Oh, I love to do many more things than that." He looked at me, and I couldn't decipher what he was trying to imply. My holy side of mind and unholy side of mind were debating.

"Like?" I put down my fork on the plate, leaning in to be closer to him. My unholy side of mind won.

"I love to watch people getting destroyed, and destroyed as in total ruin. It's pretty fun to watch a person fall from the 7th sky to land with nothing; like Lucifer." I blinked multiple times to understand what he just said.

I didn't know what to say or react to.

"You're a sadist." I leaned back, lowkey fearing for my life.

"I'm an observer, but you can say that."

"Wow, I didn't take you as Christian Gray type of man."

"Not really into that but I can be that if you want me to." I deadass stopped in my track, my eyes widening and mind functioning what the fuck he said.

The woman was too stunned to speak.

He stiffened when he realized what he just said. I saw his face and ears turning red, good to see his embarrassment. He cleared his throat and went back to eating like nothing happened. I too took a large sip of water and went back to eating like this never happened.

Once we were done with our food, the waitress came back again with dessert and wine. My face lit up when she poured into my glass.

"You don't look like someone who just drank an entire bottle of wine." Seokjin shook his head as he saw me sipping my wine.

"That was hours ago, plus how can I say no to an expensive wine when I'm not paying for it." I wiggled my eyebrows.

"Sad, you're only getting two glasses at Max. I don't want you to recreate the scene you did in the hotel room."

"Which one?"

Realization hit me hard when I saw his eyes widen. And at that point, I felt my soul leaving my body, not only my soul but my everything.

Well done Sam Sunhee. Now he knows that you know what you did to him. Well done. Bravo.

Today is a very jinx day.

Reminded me to read the latest episode.

"Why so sudden trip to Paris?" I asked. The awkward silence was suffocating. If he could pretend that he didn't just deadass tell me he could be ChrisJin Gray for me then why couldn't I pretend that I didn't just bust myself.

"Just felt like it."

"Okay." Awkward again.

"Any places you want to visit?" He asked.

"Um, let's see. Eiffel Tower and Louvre Museum? Perhaps?"

"Why perhaps?" He questioned.

"Because these are the places I want to visit my boyfriend." Seokjin's face turned sour as soon as I mentioned the term boyfriend. It almost took every ounce of control not to burst into laughter. "Hey, don't be sad. There is one place I can visit with you."

"You're talking as if I'm dying to go out with you." I heard him mumble something at the end.

"What? I didn't quite catch it."

"Where do you wanna go with me?"

"The catacombs." I saw the color fading from his face, he looked at pale as a ghost. "Oh my god Seokjin, chill I was joking." I laughed.

"Why are you laughing?" He hissed.

"Because—Because you're afraid of ghosts?"

"Who said I'm afraid of ghosts?"

"Your expression of my god that was so funny."

"I didn't even say I'm afraid of ghosts."

"At the beginning, I wasn't sure. But the way you're reacting I'm damn sure you are." I laughed, and he rolled his eyes. Stabbing the poor remaining cake with his fork.

"Yeah, so what? Can't I have fears?"

"Aww, you can. Don't worry baby boy, mommy is here to protect you." Again, I saw Seokjin stopping in his tracks, a faint hue forming on his cheeks.

"I will go and pay for the dinner." He stood up from the chair and hastily ran away from me, making me sigh.

Oops, I did it again. I made it awkward.

I grabbed my stuff and stood up, walking out of the restaurant and debating whether I should wait for Seokjin or not. I ended up waiting for him near the elevator, remembering fuck ups I made throughout the day. Honestly speaking, I would love to die right now.

"Here you are." I turned around when I heard him. "I was looking for you at the table."

"Sorry." Again, we pretended like nothing happened, which was so good. That's better than the awkward shit. We entered the elevator and reached our room.

"Wow, I'm so tired." Seokjin flopped on the sofa as soon as we entered our room.

"Same."

"What's the same? You were literally passed out for  six hours."

"Still tried." I flopped beside him.

"You're unbelievable."

"No, I'm unbelibubble." We both erupted in fist of laughter, and in a mid way, I stopped when I heard him laughing, genuinely. He laughed so beautifully and was funny at the same time.

Oh, the things I would sacrifice to hear him laugh like this every day.

"Using my joke on me?"

"That's the only funny part about it." His laugh died down and he looked at me, he was very offended. "Okay, the joke is funny, a little bit funny." His smile returned, making my poor heart suffer.

He rarely smiled. I have seen him laugh or smile like this probably twice or thrice.

"Thank you." I didn't know why I was thanking him, probably because of his smile.

"Why thank me?" He asked.

"For what you did, thank you again."

"It was nothing, he deserved that."

"He did, but I'm thanking you for taking a stand for me. Honestly, it touched my heart. For you, it might not be much but for me it was." I cleared my throat. "It took me by surprise when I heard the news, first because you remembered what I told you— like how he treated me and stuff but also you worked hard for two days to gather evidence and victims…so that you can send him to jail. And you did all of this for me." I knew I sounded stupid, from the way my voice was shaky and the way he was looking at me.

"Oh, Sunhee." He came closer, his large frame showing me and his hand cupping my jaw, thumb wiped across my cheeks to wipe the tears which unknowingly left my eyes. "Oh Sunhee, that was the bare minimum. For you, I would do anything. I will burn the whole world if that will take."

I chuckled, and more tears left my eyes when I heard him. "I'm sorry, I'm sounding a little piteous. I'm usually not like this you know."

"I know." He nodded and wiped my tears off.

I don't why I got deja vu.

"Feeling better?" He asked, giving me small smile while squeezing my face. I, on other the other hand, kept ogling him.

Have I ever told that how beautiful Kim Seokjin is?

"No, still feeling heavy."

"It's okay, I'm here for you." Oh, love. With a pounding heart, I lift my hands and cupped his face making him surprised. His grip on my face loosens, making his hands fall. I gulped, my fight or flight instinct bubbling.

Now or never.

I leaned down, making his eyes close.

Oh, holy fucked, Mr. Heart stop jumping wildly.

No matter how tempting the idea was, I wasn't going to do anything until he was comfortable, gave his consent, and was clear. Slowly I tilted his face and gently pressed my lips on his cheeks. I could feel his body flinching, and slowly heating up.

"Thank you." I said once pulled away from him, my heart beating wildly as we both stared at each other.

"Okay." He breathed out.

"I will…go and get changed for the night." I stood up, preparing to run away from the crime scene.

"Yeah, well, um, good night."

"Wait, aren't you coming?"

"I'll sleep on the sofa."

"Oh Seokjin, don't be ridiculous. The bed is big enough."

"Okay." Okay? That's it? Damn, I thought it would be hard to convince him.

"Okay, then I will go get freshen up first."

"I'll do it in the other bathroom." I nodded and went to the bedroom. After freshening up and wearing my night clothes I walked out of the bathroom just to see Seokjin, in his pajamas, making a pillow wall on the bed.

"Oh my god, what are you doing?" I laughed as I walked to him.

"This side is mine, that's yours. No trespassing on the other side. Good night." Before I could say anything, he grabbed the remote and turned off the dimmed lights. Even though the lights were dimmed I could see his figure perfectly because of the moonlight which illuminated the entire room. I saw him laying down, sleeping with his face facing the wall. I shrugged my shoulders and laid down, eyes never leaving him, who kept changing his sleeping position.

"You know something?" I trailed, putting my hand on the pillow wall.

"What?"

"Cuddling can help you sleep better." I heard him scoff. "What do you say? Wanna cuddle?"

"What are we? Five?"

"Hey! Everyone needs cuddles."

"But I don't want cuddles."

"Even if they help you sleep?" I raised my eyebrows.

"Sunhee, I have tried the world's best medicines and doctors for my insomnia. It doesn't help, I sleep when I get burned out. Other than else I can't sleep on my own." He replied, not turning back.

"But have you tried Sam Sunhee's amazing cuddles? It has gotten good reviews, and you never know it might work on you." He lift his head and looked at me.

"How people have you given cuddles?" A soft chuckle left my lips. Generally, I found jealous mem annoying but he was too cute so I let him slide. "What's so funny?" He asked, clearly annoyed.

"Nothing, now come here," I ordered, and opened my hands. I saw him roll his eyes and pick up the pillow wall he just made.

"No sneaky stuff." He warned me as he put away the pillow.

"What sneaky stuff? What are you talking about?" I looked at him, blinking multiple times while showing my innocent doe eyes. I heard him mumble something but despite his small protests and laid beside me. I smiled, nothing was innocent about it. I grabbed his hand and put it on my waist making the poor man jump. Shifting closer to him, I put my hand on his waist, which again made him jump.

"That's perfect." I whispered, looking directly into his eyes, which wear staring into mine.
We were so close, I could feel his minty breath on my face, fanning unevenly. I could hear his heart running wild and I was sure he could hear me too.

"That's risky." He whispered, making my stomach drop. I took a sharp breath, and entangled my hand in his hair, running my fingers through his hair.

"I like risky." I looked at his lips, plump glossy lips looking so lonely and begging to meet mine. There were just inches in between us, I wanted him to give in. There was tension between us and I just wanted to give in. "Risky makes my heart go wild." I was feeling so bold.

"Sleep Sunhee." I heard his shaky voice as if it was taking a lot of effort, efforts to control himself.

"I don't feel sleepy. Remember I was passed for six hours." I whispered, gliding my hands on his chest.

"Well, I'm so, good night." Before I could say anything he scooted away from me, turned around, and face his back at me.

"Hey—"

"Sleep tight Sunhee." All the confidence I was feeling drained down as I heard him. I felt the embarrassment kicking it, as it reminded me of what happened at the cliff. I pressed my lips tightly and saw his sleeping figure. Disappointed and embarrassed filled my body with sheer anger. Shaking my head, I turned around and closed my eyes.

Fuck Kim Seokjin. He's too old to understand romance.
