An unfamiliar feeling set deep down in my stomach. My alarm clock was background music whereas I was just looking at the ceiling, rethinking my life choices. For the entire night, I didn't sleep for a blink and kept thinking about all sorts of things I'm going to face tomorrow— which is tomorrow!

"It's tomorrow already!" I asked myself, my hands tugging by the hair while the hard realization hit me.

Tomorrow is already today.

My eyes widened when I saw the time on the alarm clock. In exactly two hours I had an interview with Mr. Kim Seokjin, CEO of JinHit. Nervousness filled my body once again— not only I was nervous and overwhelmed by the interview but also, I was tense, unsure, and overwhelmed about my future.

They are going to eat me alive.

Models need to go through various shows and even colleges to get through this position, they need experience and here I'm, still a learner getting there.

This sounds like a mockery.

I gulped and shook my head, trying to clear my mind from all these thoughts. I stood up and walked toward the bathroom. After taking a nice refreshing shower I felt relaxed as if all thoughts washed away, but they all come back again as soon as I open my wardrobe.

First impressions are the last impression.

What impression, remember we already made a shitty clown out of ourselves? It doesn't matter.

But still, it's my interview? at JinHit. I should be perfect.

"That's right! I'm going to be perfect but..." I trailed, "What am I going to wear?"

Another dilemma.

After trying so many dresses, I finally decided to wear a simple white dress with a brown blazer, ending it with a pair of sneakers. It was basic but it was the best, not too casual nor too flashy, perfect for anything. Doing a little bit of makeup I took my purse, the only thing I could take with me right now. Unlike other candidates, I didn't have any quantifications or a portfolio. I walked out of my room and saw three poor boys sitting at the dining table, staring at the space blankly.

"Who died?" I asked and sat at the table. Their heads turned toward me and made me realize how similar our condition was. Red eyes, dark circles under the eyes, and a dead expression.

Thanks to the person who invented makeup, especially foundation.

"Me, in some times," Taehyung stated.

"I still can't believe it." Jimin slurred.

"Believe what?" I asked even though I knew the answer, we all did.

"That my crush is dating my other crush. My other crush is talking to someone capable of ruining our life completely. That someone whom we talked shit about in front of him, prank him and he knows all." Jungkook continued, making me choke on my water.

"Crush?" Taehyung and I both asked.

"Platonic Crush." Jungkook pointed toward Taehyung.

"Friendly Crush." He pointed towards me.

"Hayoon is my celebrity crush."

"What about me?" Jimin asked.

"Fuck you."

"But I top."

"What!?"

"What what?"

"What what what!?"

"What—"

"Okay okay stop," I interjected. "Eat your breakfast first, don't you guys have to go to the academy?" I asked.

"We do—"

"Then hurry up." I replied.

"You have it too Sunhee."

"I'm having an interview."

"Interview!" All three of them asked in surprise while I ate my cereal nonchalantly.

"When? You didn't tell us."

"It happened last night, and believe me you guys were too busy and shocked. I decided to save this information." I shrugged my shoulders.

"Wait—" Taehyung started.

"Yep, going to JinHit for an interview? A
sort of thing I don't know. He just said he wants me there at sharp eight."

"Wow," Jungkook muttered. "My friendly crush is going to be a model before me."

"I still don't know, last night was pretty—"

"We know, we know. How you almost hit him with rock—"

"And how he found Taehyung dating Hayoon." Jungkook interrupted Jimin.

"The betrayal." Jimin put his hand on his teddies.

"It's okay, he redeemed. Remember how Sunhee choked him to death and kicked his kneecaps." Jungkook spoke without being full of cereal.

"Yeah, it was a good thing we stopped Sunhee from killing him."

"You guys are exaggerating," I whined.

"Exaggerating!" Taehyung, the guilty person spoke. He stood up and pulled down his black turtleneck. "Here look! There are freaking hand marks on my neck and I can barely walk without having pain in my legs!"

"That sounds wrong." Jimin commented.

"Indeed." Jungkook added.

"Sounds hella kinky." I replied, making Taehyung roll his eyes.

"Chill Taehyung, I said sorry even though it wasn't my mistake." I put my hand on his shoulder.

"My mistake? My mistake!?"

"Yeah, I mean you are dating a supermodel. You didn't even bother to tell your best friends I mean, it's really—"

"Heartbreaking." Jimin completed my statement.

"Yeah, heartbreaking." I agreed with Jimin.

"You expect me to tell you 'Oh hey! I'm dating Kim Hayoon!'" Taehyung scoffed.

"He's kinda right." Jungkook nodded his head.

"I'm right."

"But still— he's supposed to tell us everything." I pouted.

"Not everything—"

"Sunhee, didn't you tell you to have an interview at eight?" Jimin asked. "It's seven thirty already." My eyes widened.

"Fuck!" The chair screeched when I abruptly stood up, shoving my remaining breakfast in my mouth and I ran towards the door.

"I'm taking your car Taehyung!" I yelled.

"Alright! All the best!" He yelled back.

"You'll rock it Sunhee!" Jimin shouted.

"Have amazing office sex— ouch hey! Don't hit me Jimin." Jungkook's words made me laugh and cringe at the same time.

Okay, to be honest, I never really thought of this scenario. Now that I think of that, I found it a bit weird that I like Jin— a tiny bit only who turned out to be Kim Seokjin, a person whom I developed hate because that person used to give overtime to my best friend which turned out to be the time he used to spend with his girlfriend. Also, it was me and my overthinking that these assumed wrong things about Seokjin, I assumed him a pervert and a stalker.

"God this is so fucking embarrassing." I mumbled and sat inside Tae's car. I started the engine and drove toward JinHit as fast as I could. As usual, it was a busy morning, with people rushing to their work, children running to their school, and old people simply taking their time and having peaceful walks. I jumped off the car after I securely parked it somewhere near JinHit. I gulped and looked at the huge building in front of me. I could see workers coming out and going in, some were discussing while others were yelling at their juniors through the phones, and interns were busy holding coffees for their seniors. Not only that, but I saw some paparazzi sitting opposite the building, along with some fans.

I took a deep breath and entered the building. I gulped upon seeing the lavish lobby and reception. Many people were sitting and waiting in the lobby, while some were just doing their work. Slowly I stood near the reception table, good thing the receptionist was busy with someone. I hastily opened my phone, and a sigh left my mouth when I saw the time.

"Hello, how can I help you?" The receptionist's polite voice filled my ears. I turned my phone off and looked toward her while smiling.

"Hello, I'm Sam Sunhee and I'm here for—"

"Oh Ms. Sunhee, Ms. Park is expecting you." She smiled and gave me an ID card from the drawer. "Top floor." I thanked her and walked toward the elevator. After entering I pressed 20th floor, the elevator was about to close until—

"Wait for me!" A girl yelled, making me put my leg between the door so it wouldn't get close. The door opened again and the girl smiled and bowed to me while struggling to hold documents and files.

"Thank you." She thanked me and entered the elevator. I nodded and removed my leg so the door could close. The girl pressed her deserved floor number and we waited in silence. My eyes followed the girl, she was wearing a sweatshirt and track pants along with running shoes.

"First day?" She suddenly asked me, catching me off guard, mostly because I was staring at her.

"Yeah. You?" I asked

"Me too, it's my first day." She looked at me while smiling and pushing her glasses on her nose. The elevator opened with a ding, and the girl looked up and then at me. She waved and bid goodbye. The elevator closed again and moved up. Not even a minute after the door opened and I walked out of it, looking at the lavish lobby— but it didn't last long as my eyes fell on the woman behind the desk.

His assistance.

"Hello, I'm Sam Sunhee and I'm—"

"I know, Mr. Kim was expecting you..." She trailed and looked at her worst watch. "Three minutes ago." She looked at me, while I just sighed.

"A tip, he's very serious about time management." She picked up a sort of folder and walked towards the large door.

"May I come in?" She knocked twice and a faint voice came in reply.

"Wait here, Mr. Kim will call you in shortly." I nodded and she went inside. After a couple of minutes, she walked out, saying I can go inside.

"Here we go!" I mumbled and pushed the door, walking inside his office.

The first thing which caught my attention was, of course, the view from his office. As if you could see the entire Seoul from here. The second thing was his luxurious office, fancy ceiling, sofa, and a couple of figurines.

"You're late." Seokjin's voice broke my trance. "Entire five minutes late." He said while looking at his watch. I didn't reply, I didn't have anything to say, to be honest. "Have a seat." He motioned towards the sofa while standing up from his desk.

"Alright, there is a long list of things we need to discuss." He said once we both were sitting on a sofa, facing each other.

"If I'm correct this is not how you hire models right?" I asked while eying him, going when I saw him wearing glasses. Wavy hair covered his forehead, looking handsome in a perfect crisp suit.

Wait for what— handsome.

"Neither do we hire people like you but here we are." He retorted without missing a single bit.

"Hey," I scowled. "It was you who came to me, not the other way around."

"Look here, read this carefully." He didn't reply but handed me the folder which his assistant was carrying earlier, and it turned out it was a contract.

"By signing this, you'll be a model under JinHit entertainment. Read the terms clearly, I don't want any fuss in the future." I looked at the contract, going through it thoroughly.

"It is clearly stated here that JinHit can fire you if your performance isn't competent. Don't think you will get special treatment."

"Neither do I want that. I didn't want any favors, to begin with, I'm only here because you threaten to sue me." I replied but he just shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know if I would be able to do this, I'm so nervous and scared," I said while closing the contract. "It takes years to be a model but I'm just signing away to be a model— who will be under pressure to do her best even though she just trained to be a model for three years, no experience or whatsoever."

"I remember how Hayoon started her career just like that, her first ram walk was just after her few months of working." Seokjin suddenly spoke, making me look at him. "You know what makes her life on that show?" He asked and replied I shook my head in denial.

"Her confidence." He replied. "So Ms. Sam, don't worry, you still have three months for your first ram walk. In these three months, you start with doing commercial and promotional modeling to gain experience, along with some training from JinHit, of course. I will see your performance, if I feel like you're not ready then maybe next fashion show or you can quit. It's all up to you." His words calmed me a little.

"You won't sue me if I quit?"

"After three months, no."

"Alright. Where do I sign?" I asked, Seokjin handed me a pen while showing me where I've signed. I took a deep breath and signed the contract.

"Welcome to JinHit." He took the contract and looked at me.

"To be honest, I expected you to call me to a photo shoot and I would have a photo shoot, next thing I would know I'm debuting on vogue's front page." I spoke.

"Stop reading fanfiction."

"How did you know—"

"We need to work on this, I'm your boss here. I'm repeating here so don't make jokes, or anything. Behave like a boss-employee here." His words did make sense. "People here don't have to know about us."

"You talk like we're in a relationship." His words churned into disgust. "Anyways, I understand, I was going to say the same thing. It will be better for us if we behave neutrally. I don't want people to think I got this because I did favors to you." I cringed on my last sentence.

"That will include no talking, I don't talk with my employee—"

"They don't talk to you because they are scared of you."

"Well— true, so do you. At least pretend you're scared of me. Second, don't fangirl over your idols, please."

"That's hard but alright I will be professional."

"That's it, all done." He said.

"So I can go now?" I asked.

"No." He denied it and took out his phone from his pocket, calling someone.

"Ms. Park, yes please send that intern in." With this, he hung up.

"You'll have a photoshoot for your portfolio." He informed me. Before I could reply, someone knocked at the door.

"Come in." Seokjin allowed them. A familiar girl with glasses entered, looking all nervous.

"Introduce." Seoljin ordered the girl, and she nodded.

"Hello, I'm Kim Heesu—"

"She'll be your manager, she'll handle your schedule, training, walking classes, portfolio, your professional socials, and almost everything." Seokjin informed me while standing up, making me stand too.

"Alright."

"Ms. Park will email you her schedule, for now, she'll be having a photoshoot— in twenty minutes." Heesu nodded.

"That's all, you can leave. All the best." His eyes lingered on me but soon he broke the contact. I shook my head a little and walked out with Heesu.

"I'm Sam Sunhee." I introduced myself as soon as we walked out of his office.

"Nice to meet you, Ms. Sam. I hope my work satisfies you."

"Sunhee is fine, and don't be formal."

"Okay, let's go. We need to be in the studio in twenty minutes." I nodded and we both entered the elevator. She pressed the floor and once again we waited in silence. I took out my phone and smiled.

This chapter was so shit

I have zero ideas about how modeling agencies work. I read some articles but they didn't do any justice. This feel stops much, like propel come to think of that in shouldn't he hire an undergraduate as a model. They start their career at 16 at the earliest wtf this doesn't make any sense.

I'm sorry if the story is not sensible.

I will work on it. If any of you know anything regarding how modeling agencies work or anything regarding topics please help me.

Thank you :')
