"This cannot be true perhaps I should test this thing! Show me my son!" Andrew asked and the glass showed Andrew his son Kenneth flying around outside enjoying himself.

"Where is Sam now?" Andrew asked and the glass showed Sam sitting in the Wagon with Reegan next to him and he could see the Wagon was packed full of Tigris. It looked as though Sam was hiding something from their view in his hand perhaps holding the pendant that was around his neck as he stared out the window.

The glass of LyrAndal showed a wider view of where the Wagon was heading and Andrew knew that where it was going now meant that both his nephew and the Ambassador would soon be beyond his reach.

Andrew was now certain this must be the true Glass of LyrAndal, it shows people the future and answers their questions. In the past he had used this Relic but only for a brief time as he became fearful of it. He was certain of it's authenticity but he had one more test to know for sure.

"Many years ago you showed me my fate, I want. I want you to show it to me once more!" Andrew shouted.

The glass became dark and Andrews brow filled with sweat as the glass began to show the scene that Andrew dreaded. It was a scene that fueled his nightmares for over a decade.

The image in the glass was of Adimniss standing over Andrew, she was an incredibly powerful being in a form much more powerful than the form she took when she attacked Earth. Dark energy swirled around her like a raging fire, many Negatis ships were in the sky above her and Andrew stood alone in opposition as though he were the last free man in all of the Universe who stood against her.

"I told you I would get you Andrew! You are pathetic! Now. . . .Die!" Adimniss screamed at him as she summoned enough power to destroy an entire solar system, She formed it into an intense and fiery energy spike that produced lightning and sparks. Andrew watched as his future self cried out in tremendous pain.

"You will experience more pain than anyone has experienced ever in all of time. . . . . I will enjoy with great pleasure watching your slow demise!" Adimniss screamed at Andrew with a sadistic tone. The energy from the spike hit him as he laid helpless and defeated at her feet.

"NO! My fate it remains the same!" Andrew yelled as he backed away from the glass. It had been a very long time since he had seen this event. The first time he had no idea who Adimniss was, this prompted him to ask many questions of the glass about Queen Adimniss, the Negatis and their origins. He hoped that having knowledge would help to change the future but the events shown to him in the glass always remained the same.

But there was something new this time, Andrew heard laughter from the glass and then next the laughter was in the room with Andrew. He looked around the room for the source of the laughter, his eyes turned to the mirrors. the mirrors above were laughing at him.

The fire died down it was now only burning half as much as several shadow men appeared in the mirrors, they stopped laughing and began to whisper to each other. Andrew felt very afraid of the dark shadow men he was seeing in the mirrors. He became hysterical and started to converse with them.

"Am I doomed to simply stand here and watch this glass of horrors as what it has shown me comes true!" Andrew shouted. He began to pace around the room. Andrew gazed deeply into LyrAndal's Glass. He knew that he could trust what the Relic showed him. He gazed deeply for the answer to his next question.

"How can I stop Adimniss?" He asked hopelessly but the vision of his fate remained unchanged with him standing alone against her and being destroyed.

"How can Adimniss be stopped?" Andrew asked again with frustration and anger. This time the Glass shone brightly and a new image appeared to Andrew and this time it was that of a crystal within a small statue. There was a quick glimpse of a girl with green hair that was trapped within. It was something incredibly ancient but he knew the history.

"This is what the Illinliu have sought. There were wars fought over this a long time ago, After two young sisters uncovered the secret hiding place of the Illinliu. They took two Quartanitz and in their naivety they used them as playthings! The two sisters created their own worlds to play with but the Illinliu wanted to use the power of the Quartanitz to rule as Gods! It is said that the Quartanitz would have gathered a tremendous amount of power by now due to the length of time these Lumaidi sisters have been trapped inside."

"Where is the Quartanitz? I must have this power!" He asked and it showed him the highest tower of the Royal Castle of Catlinburg.

"So the Quartanitz was hidden in the temple all along. I should have guessed!"

The image in the glass began to swirl and sparks were flying as though it were looking through a severe storm of dark energy. He then witnessed the Quartanitz power to weaken Adimniss, but the images were cryptic as the glass showed Sam wearing the Pendant and the tiny statue sitting in the temple.

Andrew knew of the significance of the statue inside the temple it was believed to have contained what the Tigris called the Great Spirit of the world. Andrew long puzzled over the mystical song that was heard in the temple but he had long since written it off as possibly some ancient device involving wind and pipes in the walls. But Andrew now understood that there was a Great Spirit and this Great Spirit was in fact a being of pure light, an actual real and living Lumaidi that was trapped within the Quartanitz.

Suddenly the floor filled with smoke that obscured Andrews view of the Glass and he could only look up to see the large mirrors on the wall, the mirrors seemed to offer a continuation of the events presented in LyrAndal's glass.

He witnessed himself obtaining the Quartanitz and becoming all powerful and beyond judgment. He watched as his power changed the vision of his future fate where Adimniss was defeated and turned to dust by a powerful light that eminated from his sceptre with the Quartanitz attached to it. Then there was much fanfare and applause as the people of the cosmos cheered his name and spoke of his heroic deeds.

The smoke in the room cleared and Andrew looked down at the glass of LyrAndal which now showed him the image of the two Lumaidi sisters. Two girls one with green hair the other with blue hair who were filled with great sadness at what Andrew had done. Andrew paced back and forth across the room contemplating the decision before him and the meaning of these visions.

"The Great Spirit is sacred to the Tigris. And I do not have the resources to obtain the Quartanitz. I would have to wage war against those would prevent me from this goal no. . . there must be some other way?" Andrew said to himself. He looked up again to the mirrors and they showed him the military technology that Vult Ravik and the Virillians had developed and an alliance with the Grotesques that enabled Andrew to obtain the Quartanitz.

"How can I trust what you show me mirrors?" Andrew shouted walking towards them.

The shadows in the mirrors appeared again but were now ghostly spectres that jumped outside of the mirrors. They appeared as spectral entities in Judges robes.

"What do you want! Why!" Andrew screamed. He turned to the glass of LyrAndal where the images showed him a darkness spreading over Earth and the Galaxy. And then the Quartanitz appeared once more in the glass tempting Andrew with its power. Andrew turned around once more to see the judges closing in on him. They surrounded him, one of them hovered over top of him holding a noose. Andrew dropped to the floor and cried and screamed. He crawled and wiggled on the floor to get away from them.

"No!" He yelled and closed his eyes. There was a moment of silence and Andrew believed the spectres to be gone. When he opened his eyes once more the room was very dark and the spectres in the Judge's robes were gone. Andrew breathed a brief sigh of relief but then he became extremely cold. There was a chilling wind coming from the ceiling above him. He looked up to see a ghostly spectre of Adimniss flying directly at him howling like a banshee ready to consume his soul. He quickly jumped to his feet and ran towards the glass.

"I'll do it! I'll do it!" He screamed as he reached towards the image of the Quartanitz in LyrAndal's glass, as he did so the spectres vanished from the room.

The fire returned to full strength as Andrew began to speak to himself to help him figure out what his next steps should be.

Sergeant Holland was standing at the door listening to the Admiral speaking to himself. He decided to knock although it was already too late as he had walked into the room a minute earlier.

"What is it?" Andrew yelled.

"Sir! We found surveillance footage showing your nephew and the Ambassador joined up with a team of rebel beasts, they freed prisoners in a cell block and escaped in the ship you arrived in," Sergeant Holland said and Andrew simply nodded, he was looking around the room to see that all was now normal around him there were no shadows in the mirrors. Andrew stood up straight and wiped off his uniform.

"I am also happy to report that your orders are ready to be carried out. The missile is being dismantled and I have crews for shredding documents and wiping the computers memories. Also all military assets are ready to be scuttled and. . . ."

"Cancel those orders and Get out! Idiot!" Andrew interrupted and though he was very confused Sergeant Holland left and closed the door behind him.

"With the power of the Quartanitz in my grasp. . . Anything is possible!I will no longer need fear the judges of the Galactic society. . . . .I will need not fear Adimniss or the Negatis. I can change my fate! I will!" Andrew shouted at the fire.

Andrew again looked in LyrAndal's glass and he was shown Captain Choleska aboard her star ship working with her crew. They all looked very concerned at what they were seeing on their computer screens. It was clear that they were looking for their Ambassador Reegan. The glass then showed a battle of Earth's forces fighting Negatis soldiers on the ground after Adimniss attacked, there were no Poladeans or any other Extraterrestrial's helping Earths forces to combat this foe. Andrew was disgusted at how much ignorance towards the suffering of the Humans on Earth that he thought they were displaying. His anger intensified as he lost control of his emotions.

"That Captain Choleska should know better! I will make her ship burn!"

He screamed as he stormed towards the door. He was feeling very cold and reached for a long black coat as he left the room slamming the door.

Andrew burst into the war room and surprised many of the Humans and Virillian Underlings.

"Get that warhead ready to launch Ravik I want the approaching ship destroyed immediately!" Andrew commanded but Vult Ravik and everyone else seemed confused.

"But my lord you warned us that the warhead would be discovered by their scanners and destroyed before it could come close enough," Vult Ravik replied.

"Then we use a sneak attack after luring them in!" Andrew responded impatiently.

"Lure them in with what?" Sergeant Holland asked with skepticism.

"If they want Reegan so much lets give him to them!" Andrew commanded.
