Within the blue light, Sam was starting to hear a faint but familiar voice.

"I am with you Sam!" the voice said.

It sounds just like Gleeya Sam thought. The voice was so warm and encouraging to him it quickly enabled him to overcome his fears.

The energy flowed through his fingers into what he could tell was a tiny sliver within the device. He was amazed how much of a capacity for his energy it could store.

"Keep going Sam the actual relic you are charming is very large!" Andrew stated.

Meanwhile on the bridge of the star ship Salvation. Nallany looked over her crew, they were all behaving admirably she thought as they remained at their posts even as the situation appeared grim. Many of them were beginning to accept their fate however and became slowed down by despair.

But suddenly the crew became lively.

"Captain Choleska all of the ships systems are powering up!" The communications officer informed Nallany who was very surprised.

She had been standing at the edge of the bridge watching and waiting for her fate, she turned around confidently and walked to her Captain's chair. 

Nallany remained silent in deep thought for a moment before flipping a switch to open ship wide communications that were to be heard through out the entire vessel.

"Crew of the Star ship Salvation, this is your captain speaking. The Emperor has returned the control of this vessel to my command and through some miracle we have all systems showing full power. This now presents to us the opportunity to participate in this battle against the criminal known as Adimniss! She is in the process of committing interstellar crime, and has called on reinforcements of Negatis warships. These are nothing greater than the pirates we have dealt with in the past, with many of you by my side in my previous command. But some of you are young and new officers to the Poladean fleet. You have yet to experience a battle like this. I will not sit here and convey to you a false hope as the situation is dire. . . . And. . . . The enemy nearly has what they want. Escape from this fate may not be possible but I am willing to lay my life down fighting to stop Adimniss from her cruel treachery. The odds are overwhelming and our chances slim. . . ."

"I will not order you to remain on board and fight the Negatis with such incredible odds against us but. . . . I ask you, I call upon you! Will you fight along side me?"

Nallany looked at the faces of each of the officers on her bridge, they each stood at attention, none were leaving. 

They appeared to all have been moved emotionally by her speech. 

She looked at her control panel and screen for the status of the other stations across the ship and one by one they each lit up as shipshape and battle ready.

"Crew of the Salvation I thank you. . . . It will be a rough night, But I believe in my heart that when the dawn breaks we will have lived up to our name!"

Sam had finished charming the Genetic Harp, Andrew walked over to the monitor that was tuned into the channel for the game broadcast. All of the cameras were now pointed at the Poladean ship. 

It was fully powered up and firing on the Negatis star ships.

"See Sam I knew it the moment I stepped aboard that vessel. It is powered by a very ancient and revered relic that LyrAndal himself had left with the Emperor's predecessor thousands of years ago. The Ascension drive!" Andrew explained with great pride.

Candillice watched as Andrew gloated about his efforts to win the battle but she still did not trust him. She would never trust him and vowed never to drop her guard around him.

"The noise outside! It's stopped!" Sam exclaimed as he was no longer hearing the Grotesques ripping the ship apart to get at them. 

Sam ran back to the door where they had entered his uncle's ship to see that Carlyle, Whiska and Nabine had already arrived and were keeping the Grotesques distracted.

Sam was happy to see them but he noticed more Grotesques were climbing down the canyon walls followed by an Army of the spider bot controlled Protolians.

Reegan's ship landed close by, Tafficious stood anxiously watching the Grotesques approaching, he was wishing there was something he could do about it.

This was when he realized that he had already witnessed Reegan's ship create flight suits and hooklances for the Droneflag game. 

He had an idea.

"Ship? How is it that I speak to you?" Tafficious asked.

"Please enter a Query," The computer replied.

"Alright see those beasts out there coming for us? Give me a weapon that can take them down!" Tafficious asked enthusiastically. He watched the computer screens near the synthesis chamber turn on.

The screens were analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of all of the hostile forces in the area and within seconds the computer had a weapon designed and ready for manufacture.

Tafficious watched as the robotic arms in the synthesis chamber went to work manufacturing for him a very powerful war club.

He lifted it up off the conveyor belt as it was presented to him. He was surprised by how light it was. 

This club was specially designed to break the Grotesques bones and knock down the legs of the metal Protolians. Tafficious felt very confident holding it. He opened the doors and ran out of the ship charging at the Grotesques.

"Run! I will hold them back here!" Tafficious yelled at Sam and Candillice Who were watching from a hole that was ripped in Andrews ship.

"Carlyle! We have to go get Tiya now!" Candillice shouted and Carlyle came to her side.

Papilliowalayo landed with his Olliniqu friends to form a line against the Protolians and army of Grotesques who were closing in. Andrew and Kenneth took advantage of the opportunity to run for Reegan's ship but Sam hesitated not wanting to abandon the fight.

This was when Whiska and Nabine ran to stand in front of Sam and the attackers.

"Stand back Prince. I'm gonna smash them!" Whiska proclaimed.

"We will handle this. . . It's our honour to serve you Prince Siamisha!" Nabine said to Sam and smiled. Sam looked to the spire and then to Carlyle and Candillice who ran inside Reegan's ship. Candillice waved to Sam yelling at him to come and so he followed her.

Sam was the last to run into Reegan's ship and just as he did Sam heard his Uncle Arguing with Reegan.

"By my Authority as Admiral I hereby commandeer this vessel!" He ordered Reegan. 

The computer switched to Andrew's voice authority as it was a technical legality that allowed it to be possible. 

Andrew had won the argument, the doors closed as the flight path was already set to head directly for the spire at full speed.

"Target that spire!" Captain Choleska ordered after they had created an opening between them but several Negatis ships flew into the path of the Salvation's energy cannons. 

None of the shots the Salvation was firing could reach the spire and Adimniss was already walking towards the receptacle with the Quartanitz of Tiya.

Reegan decided to call up Captain Choleska to let her know his situation.

"Nally, Andrew took command of my ship, he plans to land it on top of the spire. Can you keep them off us please and thank you?" Reegan asked as shots were fired at his ship by the Negatis with some hitting and causing damage. 

Nallany heard him and she spotted Reegan's ship heading directly towards the spire.

"I can keep them off your tail Reegan! But what about the ones in front? How are you going to get through that?" Nallany asked as she ordered her crew to fire on the ships to give them cover.

Everyone on Reegan's ship watched as Andrew aimed the ship at the spire, a wall of Negatis star ships swarmed to create a thick wall between them and stopping Adimniss.

"We will! RAM THEM!" Andrew shouted.

"You are insane Andruin!" Carlyle stated.

"I got a trick up my sleeve. . . just watch!" Reegan said as he pulled a lever. Two massive drills were deployed in front on the ship. They easily tore through the wings of some of the ships blocking their path and other Negatis ships were quick to move out of the way of the large and very powerful drills.

As the sky cleared in front of Reegan's ship a very large icicle came flying for it. Adimniss was attacking Reegan's ship. Sam thought she didn't appear to be too serious about it as she was laughing and began to lift herself into the air. 

But Andrew had a very foreboding look on his face.

"I sense her dark energy is increasing! She's becoming more powerful!" Andrew said fearfully.

"More powerful?" Sam questioned.

"Yes! But that pendant you carry has also been increasing your power Sam you should be ready now!" Andrew smiled confidently as he shouted.

"Ready for what?" Sam asked.

"You must trap Adimniss within the pendant! Like we tried the night of her attack on Earth! Only this time. . . . You will succeed!" Andrew replied with enthusiasm.

"It is not possible!" the faint voice of Gleeya told Sam.

"I can't!" Sam shouted. 

Andrew looked disappointed and agitated.

"Kenneth get over here son! Hold him down!" Andrew yelled as Kenneth rushed Sam and pushed him towards the front of the ship.

"Do it freak boy!" Kenneth yelled. Candillice and Carlyle rushed to Sam's aid.

"Stop it everyone don't fight. . . . It wont work Uncle Andrew I. . . .I think it's full!" Sam said to his uncle Andrew.

"What how is it full?" Andrew questioned. He placed his scepter to the pendant and read its contents. After a moment Andrew had a frustrated and then extremely disappointed look on his face.

"Sam where did you take them from?" Andrew asked, Sam shook his head.

"I, I don't know! I don't know how they got there?!" He answered.

"Whoever you got in there get em out like you did with me!" Kenneth shouted angrily.

"It is no use boy the one who is trapped inside must be returned to the exact place they were taken, there is too much information emanating from the pendant I don't know who it is but I sense that they were taken from very far away from here!" Andrew stated.

"I am here Sam. Return my sister to her temple and this will be over!" Gleeya whispered.

"Cheer up Uncle Andrew it's not over yet we just need to get Tiya back to the temple and Adimniss will lose her powers," Sam explained.

They all looked up and forward to the spire. 

Adimniss was gone, she had left to open her portal wider and allow more of her Negatis ships to pour through into the skies of Tiyamat. 

With this opportunity Andrew set the course of Reegan's ship to land on the spire directly next to the receptacle.

The top of the spire was a dark green colored and large hexagonal shaped plateau surrounded by six other hexagonal shaped plateaus. It was segmented with hard edges surrounded by six towers, the receptacle was a table like object in the centre which was also hexagonal shaped with a deep hole in the centre where the object to be transferred was to be placed.

The Salvation continued its attack on Adimniss.

"Quickly! Get Tiya out of the drone while Nal has Adimniss distracted!" Reegan stated. But Sam had already found the drone, he saw that it was in rough shape. It was torn open and all of the contents were on the floor. Sam gasped when he noticed that some of the contents looked like pieces of Tiya's statue.

"Don't look Princess!" Carlyle said but it was too late. Candillice screamed at the sight of Tiya's statue smashed all over the floor.

Reegan was looking everywhere on the ground and that was when he saw what he was searching for. He immediately picked up his camera and held it tightly. He handed Rufus his pink backpack and Rufus found his Food-E and then proceeded to pick up the belongings of everyone else that Kenneth had stolen from, he placed them in the backpack.

June saw this and came running out of the ship to look for her book.

"I told you to stay on the ship!" Reegan shouted.

"It is too dangerous get back and stay with Mr Toido!" Rufus scolded. June grabbed the book which Rufus had already picked up to give to her. She turned to run but was frozen at the sight of the battles going on in the sky and the exploding ships. 

She screamed.

"Run Juniper!" Rufus yelled. She ran back to the ship with tears running down her face. She felt so helpless. She stopped running when she reached Toido who was frowning and looking equally helpless.

"There's nothing we can do. . . . . Can we Toido?" June asked and Toido shook his head to signal no and he followed it with a frown. 

However an idea popped into his head, he looked up at June with a quick smile.

Rufus examined the smashed pieces of the statue. He half expected to see shattered pieces of crystal on the floor, but as he traced the trail, he found that the broken bits were leading to the receptacle.

"Samuel! I do believe that Tiya's Quartanitz was already deposited into the transfer device!" Rufus shouted. They all gathered around the table like object to see that a small orange quartz like crystal was placed within the receptacle.

Kenneth reached in to grab the Quartanitz but his hand received a quick and painful jolt.

"Ouch!" Kenneth yelled.

"The Quartanitz can not be removed! It is protected by a force field," Andrew stated.

Just then they all heard a loud rumble, the six towers extending out of the plateau were retracting and locking into place.

Sparks emanating from the towers which caused some strange phenomenon to appear in the sky over head. It appeared to be an enormous shape emerging forming lines and patterns, each time the pattern changed its shape a distortion wave would spread from the center.

"The transfer is beginning! It is over!" Andrew shouted with great fear in his voice.

Kenneth watched the expression on his fathers face as he knelt to the floor and looked hopeless. He then looked down at his hand still throbbing with pain from the force field. He pushed a button on his wrist and slowly backed away until his hover bike appeared at the edge of the plateau. 

He made a run for it, jumping on the bike and speeding away at it's top speed.

"That coward!" Carlyle exclaimed.
