I was on my way to the last class of the week following a few other students down the busy corridors towards the charms classroom. We had that lesson with the Gryffindors, and while I'd usually be delighted by that, in the current situation I was quite the opposite.

Harry hasn't said a word to me since our fight on the weekend. And while I was disappointed he didn't let me know how frustrating it was for him to see his precious little sister spend time with Malfoy, I could tell it was getting to him just by the way he looked at me.

He was a few days from his breaking point and once he reached it, I knew he would overcome his ego and apologise just so that I would stop hanging around Malfoy.

That part, to my surprise, didn't turn out to be as horrible as I imagined it to be. He was still an insufferable human being, don't get me wrong. But I didn't know he had the capability to be funny, sometimes.

Speaking of, my eyes fell on the blonde as soon as I had turned the last corner before my destination. He was walking the opposite direction, his naturally cold expression facing me.

His eyes fell on something behind me and a smirk grew on his face when he looked at me afterwards. I raised an eyebrow in confusion, not sure what he was smirking at.

In the blink of an eye he grabbed me by the waist and swiftly pushed me in one of the rooms to my right. With another smooth motion he closed the door behind him.

One hand still on my waist he was reaching for the wand in his pocket and quickly locked the door with a simple spell.

I looked at him, my brows furrowed in confusion as he turned back towards me with an accomplished smile on his face. "Potter. Behind you," was all he said but it was enough for me to understand.

My face relaxed and I gave him an impressed smile. "Quick thinking," I admitted.

The shaking about of someone trying to open the door Malfoy had just locked had him remove the remaining hand on my waist. "Now the rest is up to their imagination, I guess," Malfoy whispered, making sure they wouldn't hear it on the other side of the door.

Harry and Ron on the other hand weren't as careful about that. "Don't you think that's pushing it, Ron? We should stop them," my brother whispered angrily.

"I don't know mate, whatever is going on in there I'm sure you don't wanna see it." Ron said hesitantly, a hint of disgust in his voice. A loud groan was heard from Harry before it was silent. I just assumed they went along their way.

Meanwhile, Malfoy and I were both leaning against one of the tables, facing the door. We were both having trouble keeping our laughter to ourselves but broke out the second we were sure they were gone.

"That was incredible," I said, wiping away a tear that had escaped. My whole face was red from the lack of air and so was Malfoy's.

Who would've thought that's a sight I'd ever lay my eyes on.

"Okay, now let's just make this look a little more interesting," the boy said before his hands quickly ruffled through my (y/h/c) hair.

Well, I guess the flushed cheeks fit the picture.

His hands then went through his own hair, which ended up messily falling in front of his eyes. He took his blazer off, hung it over his arm and with one last glance toward me, opened the door.

He left in a hurry, not bothering to walk the rest of the way to class with me.

"You look a mess," Wren said looking me up and down once I sat next to her. With a smile on my lips I gestured in Harry's direction. "All for my brother-dearest," I laughed before my eyes fell on Malfoy.

She followed my gaze with one of her eyebrows raised, not sure what to think of the situation. "That's not going too far?" she asked with a hint of concern in her voice but I just shook my head. "As long as nothing actually happens."

Let's just say I was tired of waiting for Harry's breaking point and this was definitely a big nudge into that direction. His apology was long overdue, anyway.

The only thing I didn't add to the equation when I came up with this plan was the rest of the students who, just like Harry, were obviously convinced Malfoy and I were a thing.

I couldn't blame them, and after Harry told me that the rumour was already going around anyway, what was the difference?

But I didn't expect the looks, the whispers and the sudden authority I felt when I walked through the school, everyone moving out of my way instead of hoping for me to move.

What I did expect was Parkinson's behaviour. She was clinging to Malfoy every free minute they had, trying her best to get his attention and shooting me literal death-glares.

Wren and I had just left the the classroom when Parkinson ran up next to me.

"What are you playing at, Potter?" She hissed. Her lips were narrow and her face a light shade of red. She looked like she was about to explode.

We just kept walking, Parkinson not stopping us from getting to one of the courtyards we planned on occupying until it was time for dinner. But she kept up with our pace, her eyes furrowing in anger. I sighed. "I don't think that's any of your business, Parkinson."

"Oh, I beg to differ," she said, her voice threatening. I suggestively raised an eyebrow, waiting for her to go on. "Well, everyone knows Draco and I are pretty much dating."

I planned on wearing a blank expression on my face throughout this conversation but cracked when the words had left her mouth. An amused smile formed on my lips and I exchanged a quick look with Wren, who seemed to have run into the same problem.

"Everyone knows you want that to happen," I corrected her with a laugh.

Aggressively she took out her wand, fiddling with it for a second before getting a proper grip on it. She held it toward me, her arm stretched out in an attempt to look as threatening as she sounded. "You're gonna regret that," Her voice shrieked through the whole courtyard and I cringed at the sound.

I wasn't intimidated by her performance and it just aggravated her more. I knew she wasn't going to actually go through with it. She didn't become an exact copy of Malfoy, yet.

If she kept clinging onto him she might, though.

"Pansy!" A stern voice said from behind me and when I turned around I was met with Malfoy storming into our direction. "What are you doing?"

"Oh, Draco," She said, her voice suddenly sweet and innocent. I rolled my eyes. "Y/n and I were just having a conversation."

He raised an eyebrow, his eyes going back and forth between her and the raised wand pointing at me. She quickly lowered it when she followed his gaze and gave him a smile. "We really can't afford to lose any more house points because of your personal vendetta with a Potter," He said, his voice full of annoyance. "I'll meet you in the common room in ten."

She put on a smile and left towards the dungeons. Once she was behind Malfoy she turned around with a smirk and gave me a wink before disappearing back into the castle.

A smirk grew on his face once the girl had left and it seemed like he was holding back a laugh. "You let yourself get in a situation like that with Parkinson?" He said shaking his head in disbelieve while a grin formed on his face.

"For your information, I was completely fine without your help," I said dismissively. "I really don't need it."

He rolled his eyes, still smiling and then disappeared into the same direction Parkinson went.
