[Harry]

"Mmm, stay," Draco said on a Friday night, grabbing onto Harry's wrist.

"Sorry, love, I have to get home, you know I've got Teddy tomorrow."

Draco pouted and sat up from his couch which they were cuddling on.

"I barely see you on Saturdays," he complained.

Harry's hand zipping up his coat stilled. "Why not come over tomorrow?" he asked, after a moment of silence.

"But... you've got Teddy."

"You can meet him!" Harry said enthusiastically. "Do you want to meet him?"

Draco's heart fluttered. "Of course I would like to meet him." He leaned down to give him a cute little kiss. "He's your godson and my- er- nephew? Wait, that's not right-"

"Try second cousin. You're his first cousin once removed."

"Nephew sounds much less sophisticated."

"It does, doesn't it?" Harry grinned, pecking his cheek. "You're finally meeting Teddy."

Draco had to admit, he tossed and turned for a bit last night. He never slept well on Friday nights. That was the only night in the week he wouldn't be curled up next to Harry in Harry's bed because he got Teddy the next day. But this night, more than that was keeping him up.

Teddy was just a toddler, he had to keep reminding himself that. He wouldn't hate me. But... at least for now. What if later he grew up and blamed him for his parents' death?

He had just turned three years old, according to Harry. It would be fine, he soothed himself. He tried to keep thinking that until he drifted off to an uneasy and light sleep.

"Hey, love," Harry said as Draco rolled out of his fireplace. "Teddy's not here yet, Meda would be dropping him off at ten."

"Does she know we're dating?"

Harry chuckled. "Yes. I also owled her earlier that you will be meeting him today, and that she might be meeting you, too."

"What did she say?"

"She couldn't be more overjoyed; she would definitely love to meet you. Meda also mentioned your mother, she would like to see her sometime, too."

Draco chewed on his lip. "I've never seen her."

"Understandable," Harry commented. "She's lovely. You'll like her."

"I hope she doesn't hate me," he said.

"Hey, it's the prejudices that kicked her out, not you. Also, she didn't really mind anyway," Harry reassured him.

"Alright. Do I smell breakfast?"

"Did you have any before coming here?"

"What am I, stupid?"

Harry laughed as he summoned two plates of golden and buttery-looking scones.

"Oh, Merlin," Draco babbled thickly as he bit into one. "This is so worth ignoring my rumbling stomach for two hours."

Harry looked very pleased by his praise.

"Hang on, this tastes familiar," Draco said as he bit into a second one. "Is this my mum's?"

Harry winked. "I pried off a few recipes from Nitty," he said happily. "I actually revised it a bit, making it a bit more Auror-trainee-friendly, a.k.a. easier."

Draco laughed. "Classic," he commented.

After filling up his stomach with scones, coffee, and apples (the fruit was now a constant member in Harry's pantry since they started dating), they sat on the couch, Harry reviewing potions ingredients and Draco reading an issue of The Quibbler (Harry made him do so).

Five past ten, there was a knock on the door.

"Harry!" the little boy squealed as he threw himself onto Harry's leg. The boy's hair immediately changed from soft brown to jet-black.

"Hello, Teddy!" Harry cooed as he scooped the wriggling boy up to his chest. "Hi, Meda."

"Hello, Harry. You must be Draco," the woman said to him. Andromeda strongly resembled his crazy other aunt Bellatrix, but she was a much warmer and much prettier version of her.

"Yes, hello," he said, shaking her hand.

"You look very much like your mother, just like I imagined," she said warmly.

"A lot of people say that," Draco chuckled.

They exchanged a bit more small-talk and Andromeda left, leaving the three of them alone.

Harry stroked Teddy's hair. "This is uncle Draco," he said in a cute voice that made Draco's heart simply melt into his lungs.

He pretended to be offended. "Uncle? Don't call me uncle! Don't listen to your god-daddy," he told the boy. "Don't call me uncle. I'm the good-looking cousin."

Harry laughed and Teddy swiveled his head to look at Draco with his wide, brown eyes. "Draco?"

"Yes, Teddy, I'm Draco," he said, poking Teddy's nose.

Harry whispered something into his ear.

"Ferret!" Teddy exclaimed loudly.

"Oh, Merlin, I love him," Harry chuckled adoringly and struggled to keep a firm grip on Teddy as Draco scowled at him.

"No, Dra-co. Dra-co, Teddy."

"FERRET!"

Harry burst out laughing and Draco had to resist the urge to strangle him.

"Ferret, ferret," Teddy sang happily.

"I really ought to kill you, Harry."

"Ferret!" Teddy was still singing. Draco pinched the top of his nose.

"He finds the word amusing," Harry quipped without keeping a straight face.

Draco wanted to keep scolding Harry and was on the verge to withhold sex in front of the child (even though their first time had only been a week ago) but stopped when the curious little round face of Teddy's started changing. His hair turned pale blonde and his brown eyes turned grey. Teddy giggled.

That sent him falling utterly in love with the child.

"Aw, how cute!" Harry said, apparently loving the sight too.

Draco was momentarily speechless. He watched the child, gurgling and blowing spit bubbles.

"Yes, I'm your uncle Ferret, Teddy," Draco told the little guy, caving in completely.

"Ferret!" Teddy squealed happily.

He realized Harry was tearing up. "Hey, hey, what's wrong?"

"Absolutely nothing," Harry sniffed, his smile watery, "These are the happiest tears of my life."

Draco smiled and kissed him. Teddy giggled and pointed at them as they did so.

"Lovey!" he laughed.

"Yes, lovey-dovey," Harry said to him, tickling his tummy.

"Can I hold him?" he asked softly.

"Of course."

Harry carefully lifted the currently blonde toddler and gently placed him into Draco's arms. He was a little heavier than he expected, but that wasn't a problem. After all, he did already carry the child's godfather before.

"Hello, little guy," Draco cooed and bounced Teddy softly in his lap. Teddy squealed in delight.

"Merlin, if this day keeps continuing at this rate I'm going to be out of tears by noon," Harry chuckled, wiping his eyes under his glasses.

"Your god-daddy's such a drama queen," he said to Teddy.

"Wha- HEY!"

Teddy giggled. Draco waited patiently.

"Damn it," he scowled after a while. "I half-expected him to call you drama queen."

"Dammit!" Teddy sang.

The rest of the morning went by with Draco hiding behind Teddy for refuge as Harry tried to shoot him with a Bat-Bogey hex.

"Don't kill me! Don't kill me! I have your godson as hostage!"

Teddy burped and squealed.
