As his fingers tucked into her underwear, she leaned forward and did the only thing she could think of to do. Sunk her teeth down into his shoulder.

Letting her go, he flinched with a yelp and pulled away to stare at her with the widest eyes.

During his shock-filled state, the fear inside of her began to dwindle away. Her heart hammered against her chest; the beat pounding in her ears. She tried to slow her breathing, but gave up when it proved futile.

She watched him, wondering what to say to him. Nothing came to mind.

He moved fast. Faster than she could register. She never saw his hand until it was on her cheek. Her head flew to the side. A sharp burn erupted over her face.

Cupping her cheek with her hand, she looked back at him, shocked. He looked angry.

"Don't do that ever again!" he growled at her, stepping towards her.

She made an attempt to step around him to leave, but he gripped her wrist, stopping her in her tracks.

"No you don't." He pulled her back. "You get back here, and give me what I deserve."

She slammed into his chest. He grabbed behind her neck and pulled her in, sticking his tongue down her throat. With one hand, he attempted to pull down her pants.

Help! Someone help! But no one was around to help. It was up to her.

She fought back. Struggled. Squirmed. He gripped tighter and wrestled with her. She felt a snap around her throat and the necklace Levi gave her fell to the floor. She didn't care.

His hand grappled with her shorts and as he started to make progress on lowering her pants, she lifted her knee and made contact.

He let her go, clutched his groin, and fell to his knees.

Without hesitation, she stepped around him and rushed to the door, breathing heavy. Grabbed her handbag off the counter and her overnight bag from the ground, slinging both over her shoulder.

"Bitch," he groaned from the floor before she shut the door behind her.

Rushing down the hallway, she rubbed her fingers over the sore spot on her cheek. Tears blurred her vision, threatening to spill over the edge.

How do I get home? Levi was supposed to drop me home. What do I do?

Renna bypassed the elevator, not wanting to stay here and wait for it. She opened the door to the stairway at the same time the elevator dinged and the doors opened. Letting the door shut on its own, she walked over to the elevator.

Jensen stepped out and turned towards their apartment, not seeing Renna until the door clicking shut caught his attention and he looked over his shoulder to spot her.

She kept her head down and tried to get in before he saw her but it was too late.

"Renna? Why aren't you—Are you okay?" He beat her back to the elevator and she was forced to stop in front of him.

"Why are you leaving?" He bowed down to get a look at her hidden face. "And why are you crying?"

She didn't want to answer. She didn't want to explain the situation. So, instead she stepped to move around him, but he mimicked her movement to stay in front of her.

"What happened?" He must have spotted her still unbuttoned pants. "What did—?Did he—? He forced himself on you!"

He sounded disgusted. She never spoke about her sexuality with him. His tone could confirm her suspicion that Levi might have told him. So, he understood the seriousness of the situation.

Forgetting, she lifted her head to look up at him. She watched his eyes flick from her gaze to her cheek, and she remembered.

He lifted his hand and she flinched, only to have a softer touch hit her cheek. "He hit you?" He rubbed his thumb over it and looked her in the eye. His expression sharpened. "I'll deal with him."

He dropped his hand and turned to walk away, but Renna lunged forward to grab his arm. "No, please don't," she said as he stopped to look at her. "Can you take me home?"

He took a moment to consider his options before finally nodding his head and pushing the button for the elevator that had closed. The doors opened right away and they both stepped in.

The doors closed. They stood against the back wall in seperate corners.

Silence filled the small space until Renna asked, "Why did you come back?"

"I left my phone behind." He took a deep breath in and let it out in a sigh. "Are you alright?"

"Yeah," she answered, brushing her fingers against the burn on her cheek.

He cleared his throat. "You wanna...uh..." He glanced down at her unbuttoned pants for half a second.

Blood rushed to her cheeks—or at least the other one—and buttoned up her shorts. "Sorry."

"No reason to be sorry."
