Renna stood next to Levi as they all watched Jensen take his first shot. She noticed Levi shift on his feet to create space between them without stepping. Leaning in, she asked, "Everything alright?"

He looked her in the eye. His stare made her want to step back. "I just didn't think that was that funny."

"It was a joke."

"Yeah, but everyone else got to take a shot without interference, I would like to do the same."

A weight settled on her heart. "You were winning. We just—It's—it's just a game. We don't have to take it seriously."

"I know," he said, watching Jensen struggle around a curve. "I'm not, but we don't have to act like children."

"I'm sorry," she said, leaning into him. "I won't do it again."

He glanced down, showed a smile, and wrapped an arm around her. "I forgive you, babe." Leaning down, he pressed his lips against hers.

Renna closed her eyes. Melted into it. Warmth spread through her veins, relaxing her entire body.

His arm pulled her into his side. He tasted of popcorn. His spicy scented cologne filled her nostrils.

He pushed her lips apart with his tongue and she allowed it to dance with hers. Beautiful tingles fizzled over her skin. She wasn't sure if she was listening to her own heartbeat or his. The steady beat. Strong. It pounded in—

"Geez," said Jensen, forcing Renna to jump away from Levi. "When did we end up on Love Island?"

Her cheeks flushed with heat and hand lifted to hide behind. Seeing Kelan standing behind Jada—arms wrapped around her, leaning down with his head tucked into the crook of her neck—made her nerves begin to dwindle away knowing they weren't the only ones being close.

Jensen flicked his gaze between Levi and her, and Jada and Kelan.

Levi's arm snaked over shoulders and pulled her back into him.

With Jensen's eyes on them, she wished for a little more space but she couldn't find the courage to pull away. She avoided Jensen's stare. Swallowing hard, she twirled her club on the grass.

"Don't tell me you watch that show." Levi laughed.

It's actually quite entertaining, Renna thought, but the sexual scenes were a little too much for me. She didn't finish watching the first season, despite wanting know who found love.

"I know, right?" Briella said, looking at Jensen, ignoring Levi's comment. "I feel a bit like the fifth wheel here."

Jensen chuckled. "Maybe you and I should make out to fit in."

She smiled and gave him a wink. "Maybe...But let's start with a game of golf first." Kicking her golf club up onto her shoulder, she walked towards the next hole. "We'll leave the lovebirds to themselves."

"Bri," Kelan said, straightening up. Briella stopped to look back at him with one eyebrow raised. "You haven't done this hole yet."

"Oh right." She swung her club off her shoulder and skipped over to the hole, standing in front of Jensen who stepped off the court. No one said anything as she placed her ball at the edge of the hole, lined it up, and with one tap, knocked it in. Turning to the rest of the group with a smile, she said, "A hole in one! Can you believe it?" After retrieving her ball, she flicked her red ponytail over her shoulder and turned, walking past Jensen.

Jensen turned with her, throwing his arm over her shoulders as they stumbled over garden beds to get to the next course.

"After you two," Levi said with a sweep of his arm. He and Renna stayed where they were, watching Jada and then Kelan make their shots in fourteen and seventeen hits.

Levi stepped up next while the other three stood at the side until Kelan led Jada away to Jensen and Briella.

While Levi focused on making his way around the course, Renna watched the four on the other course. Laughing. Joking around. Having so much fun. She only pulled her eyes back to Levi when Briella wandered to the eighth course and Jensen followed her.

The ball dropped into the hole, Levi retrieved it, and looked up at Renna. He smiled. "Twelve. Beat that."

Heaviness lifted off her heart. She cracked a smile. "Easy."

Her first shot gave her a head start when it miraculously bounced off the wall at the perfect angle and continued around the corner.

"Aw. Come on," Levi said. "What a lucky shot."

On the eighth shot, she made it around the last curve. Despite the big gap between the ball and the hole, she lined up the shot.

"Nah ah. This isn't happening. There's no way you're getting this in nine shots."

"Watch me." She hit it and watched it roll towards the hole. Swerved a little off course but it would still be close. Close enough to get it—

Levi threw his club. It knocked the ball back towards Renna.

She looked up in shock at a grinning Levi.

"Sucks, doesn't it?"
