I stood there frozen while my heart was beating hard. 

My first kiss...

Ryan Stone....is taking my first kiss...

OH MY GOD!!!!

He wrapped his hands around my waist and pulled my body flush against his. I had a weird feeling in the pit of my stomach but it felt good. I closed my eyes and gave in. He took my hands and put them around his neck, I ran my hands through his hair making him groan and bite my bottom lip. I yelped in surprise and he chuckled breaking the kiss.

"Now that is how you bid goodbye." He said and I stood there blinking at him not saying a word.

"Mae?" He called but I just blinked at him.

"Are you in shock?" He raised an eyebrow amused.

Unable to say or comprehend anything I simply nodded.

"Did you like it?" He asked half confident half hesitant.

Again I just nodded staring at him.

"Wanna do it again?" He asked wiggling his eyebrows.

I nodded not even hearing what he was saying.

He laughed and kissed my forehead breaking me out of my daze. I jumped back as I felt a zing go though me from where his lips had touched.

"See you tomorrow?" He asked smiling.

"Yea" I mumbled and ran inside my house locking the door. I pressed my back against the door and slid down sitting on the floor. I touched my lips and huge smile covered my face. I felt adrenaline rushing through my veins as I replayed the moment over and over again.

I sprinted up to my room but Cassie opened the door before I could and pulled me in.

"Tell me everything!!" She said jumping up and down like a five year old.

I narrated everything making her grin.

"He kissed you!" She squealed.

I looked down fiddling with my fingers as a blush crept up my cheeks.

We talked for a while then decided to sleep since we had school tomorrow. I laid down in my bed and closed my eyes to the thoughts of a certain green eyed person.

I walked towards my locker sporting a smile but it soon disappeared when I looked across the hallway towards his locker. 

Ryan.

 Stephanie.

 Ryan and Stephanie. 

Together.

 He was leaning against his locker while she was standing too close to him for my liking. He was whispering something to her making her giggle and twirl her hair.

I felt my heart clench in hurt. 

She was right! He was playing with my emotions. All he said was a lie! Didn't what happen yesterday mean anything to him? 

I was so stupid!

He looked in my direction and his eyes widened. I turned my back on him and walked to my first class not glancing back.

I quickly entered and slumped in my seat trying to blink away the tears.

Jealous much?

What do you want now?

Why are you sad?

Are you seriously asking me that?!

He's not your boyfriend or anything.

Yes I know! But it's just...that..I

Shut up!

I put my head on the table and closed my eyes. I felt him taking his seat behind me and tensed. 

Inhaling a whisk of his scent I sighed. 

Why do you affect me so much?

He tried to talk to me but I ignored him, he threw me notes, played with my hair, tapped his pen on my back but I acted as if he is not there. As soon as the lesson ended I grabbed my books and walked out first.

"Mae!" He called my name but I walked ahead quickly drowning him in the crowd. I looked back and got a glimpse of his hurt expression. 

I felt bad for doing this but then I remembered what I saw and all the pity vanished in a heartbeat.

I successfully avoided him throughout the day which probed me to eat lunch in the washroom. Gross I know,  but that was the only place where he couldn't come.  

In fact, he did come and called my name from outside, but I didn't answer and he went back.

Am I being too stubborn? 

Yes I am.

At the end of the day I walked out towards my car keeping alert for any sign of him. I sighed in relief when I didn't spot him but as I was going to get in my car--

"Hey Mae" A voice called and I felt my blood run cold.

 I can recognize that voice anywhere, the voice that used to haunt me every night in my dreams. All the memories I had kept locked up rushed through me and turned around to see him.

 I had always thought that if I'll see him again, I'll break completely but instead of pain I felt anger. 

Lots and lots of anger.

"Cole" I spat his name.

He raised an eyebrow raking his eyes over me. I felt disgusted as he did so.

"What do you want now? Why did you come here?" I seethed. 

He looked the same like he did two years ago just older, he had a beard now and his dirty blonde hair was cut short.

"Told you, I'll find you." He smirked taking a step towards me while I shivered, not in a good way.

"And my my," he said again running his eyes over me, "you are a piece of work." He smirked and grabbed my arm. I struggled to get free but he was strong.

I felt tears threatening to fall but then in a flash he was on the ground and I was pressed against someone's chest. 

I sighed when I felt the familiar warmth.

"Don't you dare touch her or I'll rip your hands off." Ryan threatened in a cold dangerous voice which even scared me.

Cole got up wiping the blood from his nose. Asher and Ray were also there glaring at him. 

He looked at them, then at me and smirked.

 "See you soon." He said and walked away whistling as if nothing had happened.

"Are you okay?" Ryan asked cupping my cheeks and I nodded.

 "Thank you" I said faintly and he smiled.

He leaned towards me but then what happened in the morning came back to me and I pushed him away glaring. He looked startled at first then hurt. It hurt me to see him this way but I didn't care at the moment.

"Mae let me at least explain.." He tried to say but I got in my car cutting him off and drove off.

I stopped the car in front of my house and rested my head against the steering wheel letting my tears fall freely.

 First Ryan and now Cole is back.

See you soon

His voiced echoed in my head and I grabbed my hair pulling it in frustration.

What do I do now?
