Thank you for reading this far. I will be posting updates on my announcements if you want to get notifications on when the next chapter will be out. Enjoy!

Y/N POV

I waited until the man was fully out of sight when I lowered my hands. My fingers twirled around the edges of the blanket trying to distract my mind from the embarrassment I was feeling. I kept my eyes firmly pasted on my fingers but I could feel their eyes staring at me.

"Sorry," I muttered so quietly they barely heard me."When can I go home?" I asked already having a full backstory cooked up in case they wanted to know who I was.

My backstory was I was having a family picnic and wandered off. I got bored and wanted to climb a tree but fell. Ok, hang on. That sounded like some sort of movie excuse. Too late to change it now.

I turned my attention to the white cast encased around my arm and started fiddling with that instead.

"We want to help you, but to do that you'll have to tell us what happened? And then you can go home," the brunette said as the redhead sat back down in front of and next to the other girl.

"I have nothing to say," I reply meekly still avoiding their eyes.

An awkward silence took hold as I desperately tried to get out of this situation. I knew right now I was in no state to run.

"How about we introduce ourselves to make it easier," the brunette suggested, smiling brightly proud of her suggestion.

I looked up at her expectantly not wanting to start. My name was only used when something bad was about to happen. "I'm Wanda. I'm the Scarlett Witch, I can read minds." The brunette continued giving me a little smile.

"I'm Natasha. You can call me Nat. I'm the Black Widow. I'm a trained assassin and can tell when people are lying," the redhead again smiled at me softly. Natasha, why was that name familiar? And Wanda, unusual name that I had heard before.

I started to relax now knowing their names and who they were. I knew that if they were going to hurt me they would have done it already. I also knew I could not tell my lame backstory to a pair of professional lie detectors.

I looked down not wanting to tell them my name. And I couldn't even think of any fake names that I could give. I racked my brain. Nothing.

"Your turn," Nat, no Wanda trilled.

I looked up still no ideas of a fake name.

I exhaled, knowing I would have to tell them who I was terrified me. You know what, they aren't getting the whole truth. They'd just send me back.

"I'm Y/N," True so far. "My family lives in a small house in the woods. Can I go home now?" I continued quicky wanting to get through the lie as fast as possible.

"Sweetheart don't lie," Natasha said softly but bluntly.

Did I really think I could lie to a trained assassin and a mind-reader?

"Just tell us the truth and we can help you," Nat added.

Thoughts raced through my mind making me live through my most horrific memories all over again. All I could hear was a loud buzz in my ears and all I could see was Her.

Nat POV

Y/N's eyes rolled in the back of their head as their breathing got louder and more shallow. Their head slammed against the pillow as they started to shake. Me and Wanda jumped off the bed.

I grabbed their arms holding them as still as I could while they spasmed.

"Get Bruce! They are having a seizure," I yelled at Wanda and she ran out the room as fast as she could.

"It's ok sweetie. It's ok. You're going to be ok. This will pass," I said while tears welled in my eyes as they continued to seize.

Bruce and Tony ran in quickly. Wanda ran to the other side of the bed and held their head cupping their cheeks with her fingers gently. Bruce and Tony held their legs stopping them from hurting themselves. After a few seconds, the shaking slowly stopped and eventually they had stopped seizing entirely.

Me and Wanda collapsed in chairs on the side of their bed and watched Bruce rush around the teen. He wrapped an oxygen around their little face helping the teen even out their breath. He continued to rush around running his tests.

I watched, feeling totally helpless and numb. The only thing I could feel was Wanda's warm hands tracing my hands, cheeks and back. Flashbacks of that day ran through my mind. Me screaming. Me frantically searching convincing myself they weren't dead.

Wanda's arms shaking my shoulders pulled me out the trance. "Nat! Hey hey! Look at me." she said loudly and harshly. My eyes met her blue ones as she stared at me, worry flooded her face. She had read my mind, I could tell. "Listen to me ok. That child isn't them. I know what your thinking but you have to accept their gone. Ok?"

"They can't be gone! They were a fighter," I whisper as Wanda held me close.

"I know hunny. I am sorry. But we will help this child find their family and you can forget we ever found them," she replied. She pulled me onto her lap.

She rubbed my back as she gently pushed my head against her chest so I could hear her soft heartbeat. My second favourite noise. First was their heartbeat.

After a while, Bruce approached us. "The only thing that could have caused this seizure is PTSD, so that is my diagnosis. I was expecting something like this to happen considering their past reaction to certain things. We just have to wait for them to wake up," he explained before leaving quickly.

I kept my head against Wanda's chest listening to her heart as I looked at Y/N. I reached over and held Y/N's hand stroking it softly.

Slowly, they started to come round. Their eyes fluttered as they become more aware. They used one hand to squeeze mine telling me they were ok while they used the other to quickly take off the oxygen mask. They hated those masks, but why?

Their eyes fluttered open looking at us softly. I climbed off Wanda carefully not wanting to hurt her while I kept hold of Y/N's hand. I sat on the bed right next to the teen.

"What happened?" they croaked.

"You had a seizure," Wanda said reaching over for their other hand as she rubbed the teen's knuckles similar to what I was doing.

"Were you having flashbacks before?" I asked gently as I stared into their beautiful eyes. The eyes I knew I had stared into before.

The teen softy nodded. "Don't send me back there," they muttered, their voice beginning to break as they gave in to the fear.

A million question flooded my mind.

What had happened to them?!

Ok, I hope you enjoyed. Also bear in mind I have no past experience with seizures but I did research it to great lengths to make this chapter semi-accurate. Question of the Chapter, what are your story predictions?
