I got up and washed my face and got ready and came out of the room.

It was my brother's engagement today and my Bhabhi's first karva chauth...

I can't sit sulking here!!!

Like Isha says it's all in the mind!!!

I was suddenly booming confidence!

I walked down the staircase like nothing happened at all!

Heli was standing there with a bunch plates with a Channi (sewer) a diya (lamp)... probably to distribute amongst ladies...

She saw me and left them all on the table and came giving me a bone crashing hug...

I nodded...and smiled at her saying...
'Im fantastic... come lets celebrate your first karwa chauth'

I asked Heli where is Tanmay and Tan...

She looked like in a hurry to go out in the garden area for performing Rituals.

Just then I noticed the Karva Chauth Rituals had begun...

Although Heli had to perform them post marriage... Aunty made her do them this year too...

I shivered such that the plates almost lost balance in my hands...😳
