We reached the address Binni Didi sent us... It was an old independent house

I dont know why but suddenly I remembered my childhood days... Our first house in my Mysore before Daadu bought our 2 flats in Anmol Apartments looked exactly like this...

Traditional south indian home❤️

Although I was a Punjabi because I was born and brought up in Mysore I was a 'Accha Kannadathi' (true kannadiga - people from Karnataka) ❤️ and I loved this feeling of always been related to multiple cultures and being a multi linguistic child ❤️

Slowly I turned my gaze towards Mr Kapo....i mean.... Dev🥰☺️🙈

He was also happily gazing at the house... He looked happy and elated...

It was evening and Binni Didi's family members came to pick us...

They greeted Dev and were so happy to see him. This little Devil of mine also thankfully didn't show much tantrums...unlike office...

Infact to my surprise...he was smiling and happy ❤️

Although he hates weddings but I guess he was happy seeing the surroundings and atmosphere...

We were offered two rooms on 1st floor. They looked lavish for this home...

Binni Didi was extremely happy to see us specially Dev.... probably she never expected him.

We quickly had a good bath and got ready for the village meal organized for everyone in evening.

We were savouring the meal. It was s delicious non vegetarian Authentic Andhra Biryani meal with Spicy Guntur style chicken fry and many traditional spicy Andhra dishes like Mudda Pappu, Pesarattu with Allam Pacchadi, Gongura Chutney and the very famous Gun Powder...

Every single dish was mouth watering 💕💕💕While Ahana Di, Jiju and I kept savouring each one...I saw Dev was suddenly not here...

I noticed him talking to some folks in a corner...

Soon I saw Binni Didi come crying from that corner. Soon I saw Dev back in his Devil Avatar...

God this man has no cool!!!

We have come for someone's wedding here!!!

It's Binni Di's sister's wedding!!! Come on you can't treat her like house help in your own house!!!

I was so pissed at the tantrums he was throwing!!! Binni Di's tears bothered me more!!!

I just washed my hands and went to that corner pulled him aside...

'What do you think are you doing Dev...this is someone's wedding here that we have come to attend... You cant behave like this with random people...' I tried to explain him as much calm as possible...

But he looked really angry...
'Ishaani please... They can't do that...Binni should have atleast'

I didn't let him complete...
'Dev.... Binni Di's family function this is....you cannot keep ridiculously treat her like a house help everywhere...'

To which he abruptly replied...
'Do you even know what happened there' he screamed
..

'Stop yelling...this is not your office or Kapoor Villa.... behave a certain way...you can't do this' I yelled louder...

'O please... Don't preach me worldly affairs get it! People like these dont have a class and must be dealt a certain way' he screamed...

'How can you be so insensitive Dev?? Just because someone isnt as rich and well off like you are...you can't treat them this way...it's sick!!! ' just when I went to say something...

I heard a chaos that the groom's family was making saying...

They were hellbent in breaking the wedding post this guy's drama that he creates there...

I quickly pulled his hand and said...
'What the Hell....Dev apologize'

'Apologize my foot!!! Just wait till the next thing that happens!' he warned...

Soon I saw Binni didi come there... She stood there with the bride...

The way bride was looking at Dev I thought she would slap him but to my surprise she literally fell on his feet...

Dev tried to move away and tried to lift her up by her shoulders...

'Bhaiyya thank you...Didi finally realised it and is ready to bail me out of this wedding shit'

Dev smiled and hugged Binni Didi and the bride...

I was shocked...

Soon the wedding sham was dismissed and people started leaving...

I stood there with so many questions!!!

Dev passed me a glare and walked away to the backyard of the house...

While Binni didi told me...
'Ishaani Madam don't worry Dev Sir didn't do anything wrong... the grrom's family' asked me for a dowry...i paid them all but suddenly since 3 days they were forcing me to write off this house ....my ancestral house too on their name... I was scared and worried about my sister's reputation if the wedding is broken...so I kept quite only to realize how wrong I am only when Sir heard me begging the boys family when they asked another 10 lakh Rupees for buying a car which obviously I didn't have....

Sir not only voiced this out saying it's illegal but he also explained me if my sister gets married to such a cheap family then her life will also screw up. They are such disgusting people that they may end up killing my sister as well for money and property...

Initially I was scared but then Sir is right... Rather than me running after my fake pride in this village is let my sister continue her engineering and become a successful individual. Infact Sir offered my sister to sponsor her if she wants to do higher studies or a job in Kapoor Group Of Industries if she is interested.

So I decided to save my sister's life rather than fake pride' she explained...

I felt guilty for misunderstanding Dev...

I went to the backyard I saw him on the phone...he looked a little gloomy...

I felt bad...

Why do I always misunderstand him...

Im too judgemental!!!

'Enough Ishaani... He's a good man.. maybe your ways to deal with things from him are poles apart but he's a good man... However both of us want the same at the end... Our dear ones happiness ❤️'

I smiled at that thought...

I ran and hugged him from behind...

I felt he shivered in shock!!!

I pressed myself more on him and said softly in his ears...

'Im sorry.... I just overreact'.....

he said nothing.......

He turned around and pulled me in his embrace...

I don't know what this warmth...this feeling of being with him is...

But...

I loved it ... hopelessly 💕
