Chapter 70

"Are we all just going to ignore what just happened or?" Adria trailed off as she sat on Sirius in their car, to say they were all squashed was an understatement to the point where Adria was literally sitting on Sirius just to give everyone else a little more room, she couldn't say she was complaining though.

"I was simply taking care of things the muggle way, is all," Judy shrugged, turning around to smirk at her daughter, sending her a wink whilst the grin on Adria's lips widened.

"Well I'm sure I can speak for Adria as well when I say that was probably the thing she deserved most," Sirius sighed, his arms wrapped tightly around Adria whilst her head rested on his shoulder.

"I wouldn't get too comfy, we're almost home," Judy laughed softly, looking at Adria and Sirius. She couldn't help but see herself and Douglas in the two of them, when they were younger of course. She wasn't entirely on board with the age they were, and how so clearly in love they were, but she was the exact same at Adria's age, so any protest would be a little hypocritical, "you're going to love the house, both of you," Judy's eyes trailed to Alina who wasn't even listening to her, but too wrapped up in her conversation with Lia beside her.

"How is your fist?" asked Douglas, lifting his wife's hand and pressing a kiss to her knuckle, "I bloody knew I should've just left without you." He sighed.

"Oh shush, you," Judy giggled, leaning over in the passenger seat to kiss her husband's cheek, "I'm completely fine, and at least the baby will know how much of a badass their mother is."

"I want to know if I'm having a sister or a brother," Adria pouted, turning to Sirius who mimicked her pout jokingly, a smirk on his lips as he pressed his lips to hers.

"Oi!" Benji exclaimed, pushing Sirius beside him with a warning look at the boy who merely just laughed, "I don't care if I like you Sirius, she's still my twin sister, and I will not hesitate to kill you," he warned, earning a loud laugh from Adria, Alina and Alfie.

"Oh, come on," Sirius exclaimed, "if Benji wants to kill me then I'm sure he could!"

"You're all terrible people," Lia piped in, earning a high five from Benji who nodded in agreement.

"I can't believe we've actually found someone whose hair was dyed before Adria got to her," Benji exclaimed, shaking his head in fake disbelief whilst Adria slapped his arm.

"Oh, haha," she huffed, rolling her eyes as Benji sent her a smirk.

"The house is crazy, Ads, it's amazing!" Benji grinned excitedly, "you'll love it, and the noise of the city is actually calming, surprisingly."

"And the girls!" Alfie exclaimed, cut off by Adria who threw her head back with a groan.

"Oh don't act as if you've had any girls," Judy scoffed, "he admires them from afar, as he likes to call it, more like bloody stalking them!"

"Who does that remind you of?" Sirius whispered to Adria, earning a laugh from her as she recalled the same thing happening at Hogwarts.

"We're here!" Douglas exclaimed, interrupting the current conversation as he parked the car in their new driveway. The house, whilst still in the city, was in a much more suburban area, still a walkable distance from the heart of London.

"Oh wow, it's huge!" Adria gasped, hopping out of the car and holding her hand out for Sirius, "look at it!"

"I know," Sirius laughed, standing by her side as they looked up at the three story house.

"Come on, let's go inside!" Judy beamed, guiding the two into the house before turning to get the two girls.

"Oh wow," Adria gasped, entering the house with a wide smile. The exterior was much like their old house in the sense that Judy wasn't very keen on the dull decorated style of houses, and would much rather have her house bright and airy to the point that most of their furintiures where white, yellow or cream.

The walls where yellow, but a yellow that Adria was fond of, which was rather calming as soon as she walked in the door. The floor was wood, and a light brown that contrasted well with the décor. She shared a look with Sirius as she looked around, turning her head to the right carried her into the large dining room with a window bang in the middle of the main wall, and to the left was the living room with the same relaxing colours as the hallway.

The stairway leading up to the second floor was to the right of the hallway and to the left was a long entrance into the kitchen at the end, which from her place at the front door, looked rather huge.

"Come on, your room is on the third floor!" Benji grinned, pulling Adria along who quickly grabbed Sirius' hand to pull him with her, "I don't like to brag, of course, but I helped decorate your room."

"Should I be scared?" asked Adria turning to look at Sirius warily who rolled his eyes with a small laugh.

On the second floor was the same bright colours adorned on the walls, and four white doors stood out to Adria, but all of them where closed, "so who else's room is on the top floor?"

"Alina's and the mine, and a bathroom," Benji spoke as they climbed up the other floor, turning to grin at Adria who returned it, "so no funny business, you two," he warned, his eyes narrowing as he looked at them.

"I swear if one more person says anything of the sort to me," Adria grumbled to herself, stopping when Benji did in front of a white door.

"Welcome home, Ads," Benji smirked, pushing open the door to reveal Adria's new room. She gasped in surprise, seeing some décor from her old room, such as her bed and the sofa bed that Sirius slept on, as well as her TV, but there was a new colour painted on her walls and a red blanket was draped over her bed, standing out against the white quilt.

Adria grinned, clapping her hands together excitedly as she ran and jumped onto her bed, followed by Sirius who was laughing loudly as he done so, "hey, you have your own bed!" she exclaimed, pointing to the sofa bed in the corner, and her eyes trailed to the door when she realised that Benji had left them.

Sirius pouted as he moved closer to her, capturing her in his arms he laughed softly, "I wouldn't mind sharing this one with you."

"I'm sure my parents would just love that," Adria giggled, pushing him away as she sat up on the bed, "I can't believe I stressed so much about loving it." She whispered, shaking her head in disbelief as she looked out of her window, she could see the city of London behind some trees in the distance, and the view was absoloutely breathtaking. She was looking forward to spending her summer with Sirius, and her siblings, and Lia, of course, and the thought of exploring the city sent excitement into the pit of her stomach.

She really couldn't believe that she was so stressed about everything when she had absoloutely no reason to be, her house was lovely, and her mother was doing perfectly fine taking care of her self, but that wasn't to say that Adria wouldn't try her hardest to take care of her for her.

She turned to Sirius who still lay on her bed contently, his eyes closed and his arms behind his head, and with a small smile, she lay down beside him, a sigh of contentment leaving her lips as she snuggled closer to him. Her arm draped over his stomach whilst his moved to wrap around her back.

"Are you glad to be home?" he whispered, leaning down to kiss her forehead whilst she nodded.

"As much as I already everyone, I really am," she nodded, "It's like I don't realise just how much I miss my family until I come home and see them again."

"Well you'll have another sibling to miss soon," Sirius smiled, watching as the small smile on her lips widened.

"I'm so excited," she sighed, "but what if I'm not a good big sister, I mean, when Alina was born, I was only three so I didn't really know much, I couldn't really do much. But I'm older now, I'm almost fifteen!"

"Yes, I know," Sirius nodded, laughing slightly, "but you will make a great big sister, I just know it."

"Can I ask you something?" Adria asked, turning around so that her chin rested on her chest whilst she looked up at him.

"Go ahead."

"How much does it annoy you that I'm older?" she smirked, seeing him roll his eyes which allowed her smile to widen.

"Hmm, I don't know, I've always had a thing for older girls," he smirked even wider, earning a scoff as she pushed him.

"Oh shush," Adria chuckled, almost jumping out of her skin when a loud thump in the direction of her door frightened her. She turned with wide eyes, clutching her chest as both her and Sirius sat up, almost laughing out of shock when they saw Lia picking herself off the floor.

"Sorry about that!" she cringed, turning to see if she had made any damage, "I'm just in awe, I mean, your house is huge!" she squeaked, wide eyed as she looked around Adria's room.

"Yeah," Adria nodded with a wide grin, "it's definitely bigger than our old house, and I'm actually very happy that we didn't get home until past eleven at night, I'm definitely not going to miss that!"

"Oh yes!" Lia nodded her head in realisation, "you used to live in Scotland!"

Adria nodded her head with a giggle at Lia's excitement, "yep, we did!"

"What was it liked?" Lia asked, taking a seat on Adria's bed when the girl gestured her over.

"It was great," Adria nodded, pulling her legs into a basket whilst she leaned on Sirius, "we lived in this small village about an hour or so outside of Glasgow, it was small and there was barely anything there apart from a few shops here and there and a swing park-"

"And a lot of fields," Sirius added, earning a nod from Adria whilst a laugh escaped the three's lips.

"Yes, and a lot of fields, but it really wasn't all that much, I suppose, but it was home and our house was amazing too, I really loved it." Adria sighed, unable to shake the sadness in her stomach that she may never go back there.

"That sounds brilliant!" Lia beamed, nodding her head furiously, "I'm so excited to be here, I mean, we've only been off the train for like an hour and so much has already happened!"

"Oh yes, we're definitely a handful," Adria scoffed, "my mum, of course, set a good impression," Adria joked sarcastically.

"Your mum is my idol!" Lia exclaimed, "seriously!"

"I'm sure she'd be happy to hear you say that!" Adria giggled, her smile widening when Alina appeared at the door.

"I was wondering where you had disappeared off too," she laughed, taking a seat on Adria's bed next to Lia.

"We're talking about mum being Lia's new idol," Adria laughed, nodding her head to Lia whilst Alina scoffed.

"Well she's mine too," Alina giggled, "I thought I was going to have a heart attack when that woman looked at me!"

"Yeah, sorry about that," Sirius sighed, frowning slightly, he couldn't help but feel rather guilty that Judy had to go to such measures to get his mother to stop being such a bother, it was embarrassing for him, humiliating really that she caused a scene, as well as caused people that he really did care about to get so angry.

"Hey, don't you dare blame yourself for her actions," Adria whispered, turning around to face him with a frown of her own, "none of that was your fault."

"It definitely wasn't!" Alina agreed, shaking her head furiously as did Lia.

"You shouldn't think that you're responsible for her, or should you feel embarrassed because of it, Sirius," Adria whispered, "she's vile and quite frankly, I'm glad she came up to us because then my mum wouldn't have done something about it!"

"And she handled it well," Sirius nodded, a small smile on his lips as he looked down at Adria.

"Of course, she did," Adria nodded, "she's the best!"
