Chapter 152

Adria didn't see herself as someone who got distracted very easily, well, she was a procrastinator at times, usually getting distracted with books rather than studying, or doing homework, but never did she get distracted often in class.

The layout of the seventh-year transfigurations class sat her right behind Sirius, with Milo to the left of her, and diagonally sat James. She was trying to do her work, writing an essay on the effects of human transfiguration, but she couldn't help but get distracted, it wasn't really her fault, she didn't really choose her seat, Milo did for her.

The first day she entered the class, Milo had saved the seat beside him, something they always did in transfigurations, the boy was her best friend, and recently he had been ecstatic that he was going to be a god father "it's just so cool!" he exclaimed, "I'm going to be the best god father, I swear, Finn has got nothing on me!" so sitting with the boy was entertaining, whilst both of them did their work, it wasn't surprising that McGonagall had scolded them more than once for their talking.

But right now, Adria was distracted, her eyes couldn't stay on her parchment for more than two minutes before they wandered, more specifically, they fixated on the boy right in front of her. He wasn't exactly concentrating on his work, he and James were trying to see who could annoy each other the most, and well, she could see him as he turned to James.

His hair looked perfect at that particular time, and Adria found herself thinking about running her hands through it, feeling the softness of the locks between her fingers, she wondered how he hadn't caught her staring so much. Her head was tilted, her lip between her teeth as her eyes travelled to his lips, watching him bite his own to hold in his laughter, his smile wide at the look James was giving him.

She wanted him.

She couldn't think straight, he was literally distracting her to the point that all she wanted was him, she needed a way to get him. She watched him blink, closing his eyes to stop his tears from falling, tears of laughter, and soon when they opened did she trail over the vibrant grey that she loved, reminding her of the bright moon in the night's sky.

"Adria," her head snapped to Milo when she heard her name, her eyebrows knitted together as he took in the amused smile on his lips, "you alright there? Looked like you were about to pounce."

Sirius turned to look at her for a moment, hoping not to get caught, his smile widening at the sight of her, her cheeks flushed red from the comment Milo spoke but he didn't hear it, and soon did she frustratedly run her hand through her hair, throwing Milo a look as she shifted in her chair.

She turned away from the boy, finding Sirius' eyes, a smile twitching onto her lips as she watched him, a grin wide on his lips as they communicated silent, gnawing at the top of her pen. Partly, Milo's words were true, she wanted Sirius, right now, of course, that wasn't possible, she couldn't just grab him and kiss him in the middle of class, she was sure McGonagall wouldn't go lightly on the detention if she disrupted her lesion just to kiss her boyfriend. The punishment is worth it, she thought, her shoulders slumping as she grumbled to herself, soon taking her eyes off of Sirius or she was sure she would do something she shouldn't. Pull yourself together! She thought, shaking her head, trying to rid the thoughts from her mind.

But suddenly, an idea of the sorts popped into her head, a smirk twitching onto her lips as she ripped off a piece of parchment, scribbling the words onto it, and soon did her chair scrape as she stood up, meeting the look of McGonagall whose eyes rose at the sound of a disruption, entirely confused as to why the girl left her seat, but it was all part of the plan, if she stood to go to Sirius' desk, McGonagall would say something, she was sure of it, but again, it was all part of the plan.

She took a few steps, her hand trailing over Sirius shoulder, gaining his attention, a wide smile bright on his lips at the sight of her so close to him, and soon did she speak, "James do you have one of my pens, mine's is running out?"

The boy nodded, grabbing his bag from the floor, her voice was loud enough for McGonagall to go back to her work, and soon did Adria look at Sirius who she was leaning across, a smirk on her lips as she slowly trailed her eyes down to his lips, biting hers as she done so, and soon did she show the note in her hand, completely oblivious to Sirius' speeding heart or the fact that he was wondering how much trouble he would get in if he grabbed her face and kissed her.

A whole lot.

She shoved the note into his chest, purposely touching his hand with her own softly when he went to grab it, seeing the smirk on her lips as her eyes reluctantly left his and soon went to James, grabbing the pen with a grin and a, "thank you!"

And as she pushed herself up, pretending to stumble ever so slightly as her lips brushed Sirius' lips, whispering, "to the moon and back," soon making it back to her seat with a wide grin as he turned suddenly, and she gestured to the parchment.

He unfolded the note, keeping it out of James' sight as he leaned over to be nosey, grumbling when he couldn't see it and turning to Adria who gestured to her lips, shaking her head as though she would never tell him.

Meet me in your dormitory after class note wrote, scribbled messily on the paper seeing as Adria didn't have the best writing in the world, in fact, it was terrible really. Sirius bit his lip to stop his smile shining through, turning to meet Adria's eyes, only to have her wink.

-

She waited outside of the classroom for him to exit, impatiently tapping her foot, the note she had written him clear out of her head as she leaned against the wall, not long from saying goodbye to Milo, she wondered why it always took him so long to leave classrooms.

Finally, did she catch his hair, and the laugh bubbling from his lips as he left with James, and soon did she grab his arm, pulling him towards her and soon bidding a quick goodbye to James as she pulled him with her, her hand tightly in his as he allowed her to pull him, an amused smirk on his lips as she pulled him in the direction of the tower.

They turned down a corridor, leading onto an isolated hallway, and soon did she push him against the wall, her eyes narrowed at the amused look written across his lips, soon gripping her waist, pulling her flush against him, "something wrong, Adria, you look awfully flustered?" before she could even think about kissing him, his lips brushed over her forehead, a small kiss to the corner of her lips, brushing his lips over her jaw, and soon trailing down her neck as the gasp left her lips, her eyes closing as she gripped onto his shirt.

He gripped her tighter, pulling her closer if it was even possible, reluctantly pulling his lips from her skin, his forehead against hers, his eyes on hers, biting his lip, soon trailing his eyes to hers. She couldn't help herself as she pushed herself onto her tiptoes, her lips meeting his forcefully, her hand cupping his cheek as he slipped his arm around her, resting his hand on the bottom of her back.

He bit her lip softly, nipping the soft, plump lips that soon parted at his touch, his tongue slipping into her mouth, a moan bubbling from her throat, tumbling into his mouth as their tongues danced together, moving to a perfect rhythm.

"Couldn't wait until I got to the dormitory, huh?" asked Sirius as he pulled away, a smirk on his lips, he felt as though he hadn't had her close, like the want they both had for each other was denting, but that was so far from the truth.

They just didn't have time, if they were together, they would either get interrupted, or would have to leave, classes where a pain, so much work toppling them over, so much drama, so much news that they celebrated, and not to mention the darkness looming over them, resting behind their shoulders.

They needed time to themselves, to hold each other, and remember the love they still evidently shared, it was as though James interrupting their alone time was something that now always happened, and whilst they both loved their friends, they loved each other, they needed each other, and alone time to have each other.

Sirius gripped Adria's hand, pulling her over to sit down on his bed after they entered the dorm, "I missed you, Addy," he mumbled into her skin, pulling her closer, holding her in his arms. He just needed her close, for longer than five minutes, he needed her in his arms, holding her as her arm wrapped around her stomach, her leg draped over his hip, her face nuzzled into the warmth of his neck.

"What do you mean?" she asked, moving to stare at him, "I see you every day!"

"I know, but we're always busy aren't we, if we're not with our friends, you're doing homework, or studying, and I'm pranking with the boys, or just something that doesn't give us any time for more than five minutes. Not to mention James' favourite hobby is interrupting us, I miss you, I miss alone time, I miss you all to myself as selfish as it is, I just wish we had so much more time together," Sirius sighed, reaching for her hand, intertwining their fingers.

"I was thinking," she whispered, a puff of air leaving her lips, "it kind of fits into this, really, wanting more time alone with you sounds so perfect, and this helps, really it does."

"What is it, baby?" asked Sirius, pressing his lips to her forehead.

"I think we should get our own house when we leave Hogwarts," she blurted out, "I don't know how we can do it, we need to find the money first, we need decent jobs, maybe not even wizarding jobs, just something to help us get somewhere cheap, a starter to grow!"

"What's with the sudden change?" asked Sirius, a wide smile toying at his lips as he mulled over the thought, "merlin it sounds perfect, it does, but what about Jude, and your dad?!"

"Well we're in the middle of a war," she sighed softly, "if we're going to fight I don't want creepy evil man finding us, and killing my family, I want them safe, and merlin I want you safe too, but selfishly, I want you to myself."

Sirius guided her head to look at him, reaching for her hand, a smile wide on his lips as he stared at her, "merlin, I love you."

She grinned, nodding her head, "I love you too, so much, to the moon and back!"

"And a stop within the stars," he finished, kissing her nose, soon watching her scrunch it up, "I think that sounds perfect, Addy, living with you, our own house together, and merlin yes, we're going to have to work hard for money, to live, but we can do it, we'll figure it out, I'm sure we can find simple jobs, maybe get some money by and earn a little, stay with your dad for a few months, or so until we can find our own place."

"Merlin, I can't wait now," she giggled, pushing herself closer to him, "we're going home in a few days, only for Christmas, we're going to have to wait so long, I'm scared for graduating, I'm scared for N.E.W.Ts, but I'm not scared to spend my life with you."
